Cassandra, I just read your essay. You write with such a nice flow! Even though it didn't have big vocabulary words, it still felt very very advanced and put together! I don't think I would be able to write so well!

OMG This is soo helpful and I really admire you right now. When I first started the video I was honestly (kind of) jealous of you but now that I’ve finished it, I know for sure that you really deserved it all. I read your essay and wow, I'm speechless. The whole essay is so inspiring and I can now see why you got accepted to all the Ivy League schools. It is exactly the type of essays colleges want to see- it will set a great example for me later on when I have to write a application essay myself.

Hey Cassandra, your essay was so good! Would you recommend writing an essay on multiple experiences or just stick with 1 e.g I have written an essay where I talk about my Body Transformation journey, then creating a digital Marketing agency, then an online e commerce store and then Presidency of my club. Would you say I include all of this or no just pick 1 or 2 and then elaborate more on them?
Hi! It depends on the school. some schools have more supplements than others so you can split it up by activity; others have less, so you have to either prioritize your most important topics or you find a way to talk about all of them, although the latter is definitely a very difficult task!

You have been a good role model for my 15 year old daughter. Did you have rebellion period ? What should I do for my daughter’s strong rebellion?
Hi, I'm Cassandra's mom. Thank you for your kind words. I will answer this question for her. As far as I know, Cassandra doesn't have "rebellion period" throughout her high school days. We had disagreements sometimes but we always resolved them with prayers. Jesus is our peacemaker. I tried my best to understand her points of views. I listened to her and gave advice when she needed one. My advice for you is to focus on your daughter's strength and not too much on her weaknesses; see the good in her and praise them; check your expectation of her regularly - is it realistic and reasonable? Is she in stress about school work ? Allow more independence while expecting some responsibility, staying empathetic during disagreements, and give her clam and clear guidance. Most importantly let her know how much you love her.

hi, i'd recommend checking out my recent videos on my yale and stanford apps. i know those are not specific to the common app and rather functioned as supplementals, but i think the themes of what i break down in those videos might be helpful to you! and definitely dont give up. it took me a few different topics before i landed on the one for my common app. the others were contrived and forced, but necessary for me to write before landing on the right one
