why are they all so attractive too tho it ain't fair
@@judeh5704 bruh ikr
Not hella smart lol

Mashallah tbark Allah alhamudillah inshallah better astgfrallah
they really just picked models huh lmaooo everyone here is stunning!!!
Yes, did you listen at all to what they said?
Well to be honest some of the most gorgeous people I’ve met in my life was from my college/university years. Being smart and good looking is not that uncommon. So this isn’t surprising.

Yeah I noticed that lol
Harvard is my dream school besides Oxford and Cambridge in the UK, and college in Australia.

I think if they all wear rep shirt of their university or you place their respective university badges at the top right corner it will aid in identification throughout the conversation.Thank you.hope you consider it
Thank you! I definitely agree
I’m from New Haven and I think Yale is great but no much opportunities for non-traditional students. After I got my associates in GCC, I applied to Columbia because they have a great school specifically for non-traditional students. Thank God I got accepted and I love Columbia so far :)
Agreed, I think you should put their names and school because it got confusing for me when I couldn’t remember their names or school so it didn’t give any context to what they were talking about
no. not needed for me. Perhaps if you have some more background/knowledge before hand about Ivies that can make it easier. after all, only 8 schools/kids. I can easily remember which one goes to which school.
Hi@@Domonique_Cynthia
Loved being in this fr! Shoutout to all my Cornell people💫 See y’all Friday👋🏿
Hi! I was so excited when you said you went to Cornell and studied Nutrition. I have heard that Cornell has an AWESOME program, so I was wondering how much did you like it? I am latin and currently studying Nutrition but I'd love to do a master's degree at Cornell
CHUKAAAAA
THIS IS SUCH A CREATIVE IDEA DOM😍👏🏼👏🏼
I LOVE YOU KATIE🤍🤍
You should have locals talk to ivy students about their perception of the college (i.e., New haven locals talking to someone from Yale)
I hear New Haven locals try to hit Yalies with their cars😂
There's always tension. The students call the kids "townies" which carries connotations of low socioeconomics & low education. Town residents feel an inferiority complex and resentment, but depend on the schools for work.
@@bundakissa Yep. Born and raised in New Haven.
Kinsale is back 😍😍 she’s so cool she has a whole fan base lol
Yeah! I’m obsessed with her!
She does!
kinsale?
@@britneynyamemba Yeah, you wouldn't believe it. She got super popular off her yale video, and right now she's gaining followers on tik tok. It's crazy
@@geapai6054 what's her tiktok handle?
I think it would be awesome if you did one of these zoom calls with incoming students (class of 2024) talking about college admissions process, what they are excited about for their school, why they picked their ivy, and what perceptions and questions they have of each of the ivies and then have an episode where the current students kinda answer those questions and talk about if the pre frosh are right about their perceptions of the school
what an attractive group of people
I thought the same
I guess you don’t realize that Asians are the most desirable women in the Ivy League
Question: Can you ask each person to talk about their school’s financial aid opportunities and how they support their students? What opportunities does each student at their schools have? Thanks!
All Ivies are need based now. If you need the money, they will give you grants to the full cost of attendance. All you need to worry about is getting in.
@@cageynerd Some of them let you pay student contribution yearly tho even with need based aid.
@@jjtringirl Yea, I would say a mix of on-campus work as well.
Ivy Leagues are need based. If you're poor aka make less than 100K/year, you automatically receive a full ride.
roses No, I attend an Ivy currently and even though they claim to do that they charge between 3k-4K a year for student contribution which they expect you to work over the summer...
SUCH AMAZING PEOPLE AND SO FUN 🤩 see you again on Friday 🥳
When my faves collab 🤩🤩🤩
Diego Suchenski Loustaunau ah same 😂 i was waiting for this
I wish she put titles for the people because I got confused a little bit with who went to what school 😂😂♥️
I’d love to hear where each person got into college and why they chose the college they did! Awesome video!
I’d love to see Ivy adjacent school students’ perspective on Ivies and how they feel their universities compare for better or worse with Ivies. Great content!
yes! it would be great for like Stanford, MIT, Johns Hopkins, UChicago, and Vanderbilt students talk about their experiences, did they prefer their school over ivies, etc.
icon Yes!! And Duke :)
Christalyn Ausler Yes it’s me!! Girl I stayyy in the UA-cam comment sections😂😂 I got into 3 Ivies, but I decided to commit to Duke since it had the best programs in what I wanted to study (plus... I don’t like the cold😭), but I do plan on going to an Ivy for grad/law school. I’m so excited for you!! Morrilton never saw it coming that it’d be us to come this far, huh😂
ooh yes and middlebury, amherst, bowdoin etc or just a video on the nescacs!
what the Princeton girl said about how she fel safer in a city because they shout the N word at the suburbs, that hit hard

As an international who's taking advantage of this quarantine 'season' to learn as much as possible about US universities, this is by far the most meaningful thing I've watched. Good job & thanks
shout out to dominique for making this video centred around people of colour as woo as making it gender balanced 😌👏🏾👏🏾
This gives me podcast vibes and I love it

A question for those who are POC/athletes: Have you ever dealt with the "You only got in because you play a sport/affirmative action" comment and how did you do so?
P.S. You're all so well-spoken and attractive I'm living
@Al Person ayo Al, you applied to any colleges this year.
Love this vid & channel! As an incoming freshman at Dartmouth 💚 it was sad to see Dartmouth getting hate at the beginning! Would love to see them all talk about which stereotypes hold true for their schools & which don’t. Also, I’d love to know what they wish they knew about their school before they applied/went. 🤩 love this series idea!
These people are so beautiful both inside and out. Definitely great representation of the schools.
How do the different majors interact,, is there a lot of collaboration? Is there separation between humanities and stem or stereotypes within either field?
This is such a great idea. I am so excited to tune in every week!!!!
I love how the applaud each other with the finger snipping
Girl at the beginning when you said I'm not gonna speak that much so that you guys can talk I had major flashback to seminars with my history teacher where she would ask us to lead the conversation and like no one wanted to start or anything and so we would just sit there awkardly😂
I love the diversity, they all seem so sweet
Love how the dartmouth girl had a dartboard behind her
Chuka didn't get to give Cornell a rating!! I don't know why but I am so bothered by this. LOL
I’m stubborn so I would’ve said top 3 AT LEAST😭 (but realistically 6)
ChukaTooFaithful We Cornellians take too many hits from other Ivy students 😭
I love how articulate and thoughtful they all are! looking forward to future kickbacks bc i would love to hear them talk about really anything haha
Great video :-) From the perspective of another Cornell student, I think it's so interesting to see how different my experience can be from Chuka's.
this episode was so fun to watch!
One thing about Cornell’s freshman housing - I think they changed it to random assignment two years ago. There is program houses with different themes(music, sustainability, lgbtq+ etc.) that you can apply if you wish to live in one of them. Otherwise the process is random.
As an incoming freshman at Cornell, this year you have the option to either go random or select a roommate based on the housing survey (matching similarities based on cleanliness, bed time, etc.) or select someone you already know. I chose to select someone I already knew :)
I was waiting for the Yale girl to talk but she rarely talked at all
Same but when she did start talking I actually found her really culturally-aware and well-spoken, so maybe she just couldn’t get her input in in the beginning? Or they edited some of what she said out
abbi was so well-spoken and composed especially when talking about racial and economic segregation. she’s a rlly good role model!!!
this is such a refreshing and innovative idea!! i love how your videos bring a new perspective to colleges everywhere
Could they talk about the expectations vs reality of their college? The culture shock, misconceptions, etc. Also another one would be comparing their hometown and socioeconomic standing to that of their peers and maybe the struggles/differences that they've had.
THIS WAS EVERYTHING!!! Omg literally in love with your channel
i’m so happy about how diverse this is 🤩.
Alternate title: Kinsale being adorable for 24 mins straight 😍😭
Hi Domonique, I'm so excited for this serie! I'm an incoming first-year at Harvard, so I would love to know what advice any of the panelists have for first-years navigating an Ivy environment. Thank you sm;)
The first thing Harvard teaches you is to look down on others by looking down on you! Oops 😬 I wasn’t supposed to let the cat 🐈 out of the bag.
Genuinely one of the most valuable, honest videos
i love that everyone is equally participating in this respectful conversation.
Can they share a bit about the international experience (financial aid, discrimination, accessibility, etc.) if they know anyone outside of the US? Love this series :)
These videos actually slapp 🔥🤧
As a college student that doesn’t attend an Ivy, I have always wondered this myself. There’s a stigma that other colleges are less than and it’s humbling to know Ivy Leagues aren’t “all that” . Thank you for making this video I really enjoyed it ❤️
Cornell has one of the better engineering programs in the ivies
I LOVE ITHACA!!!!! I'm not a Cornell student, but my uncle and his family used to live in Lansing, NY right up the lake from Ithaca. I have fond memories of visiting Waffle Frolic, seeing the gorge, and walking near Cayuga lake.
Omg omg omg! Dom you never fail to amaze me. I have been a subscriber since you and your (cute) little brother were making challenge videos. Look how far you have come. So proud and keep up the good work
Thank you so much hehe 🙈 that means soooo much!!
this was so amazing omg ! ur absolutely killing it domonique
i found this video really entertaining and interesting!
bless kinsale for her comment about cornell and dartmouth at the beginning of the video.
thought the opening introductory clips of each student were super cute!
maybe for future videos, you could have like little nametags (name + school) for each student during the conversation? sometimes i got confused about each student's name and school....
DOM!! great job moderating too!!!
Question: I’m curious about why each person chose to go to the college of their choice. Like did anything specifically set one school apart from others? And also about their experiences overall in each school
Well one thing is that they may not have had other options. The people whom chose to go to Brown, Columbia, Dartmouth, maybe even UPenn might not have had the option to go to Harvard, Princeton, or Yale. Also, money is a huge factor for most. Besides that, there are many other possible reasons why they chose their specific college.
@Mohammad Ayman I said it could be A REASON. I never said it was the only reason considering they are all fantastic schools. Columbia's acceptance rate is 5.9, Brown's acceptance rate is 7.7, Dartmouth's acceptance rate is 8.7, and UPenn's acceptance rate is 8.4. Harvard (4.7) and Princeton (5.5) are lower than them all. Many people can be accepted into one and not into others which inevitably factors into where they go. There are obviously other factors, so I would never say that people go to a school solely because they may have been rejected from another one, but it is a reason for some people which is why I listed it in response to Kirky Klee asking why some people choose the college they choose.
Hi! I wanted to ask if u ever consider doing q&a but with other students of other countries?) Like now that we are all doing zoom... But I love ur videos!!! Thank u for doing this kind of content
Because I think it would be so interested, having people from different countries and education systems. Mainly bc i am from Argentina, and I go to the UBA which is public; and I find really interesting the differences between the educations and study programs.
I'm from Belgium and the education system is sooooooo different, I would love to see this type of content !
Hi! Yess I do plan to expand globally!! 🥳 I’m sooo interested in the differences between the educational systems as well!!
LOVE THIS SERIES! Go kinsale! Sending love from Australia 😌
I would be super happy if you made a video asking them to explain (in detail) how they got in. Like I would love to hear Kinsale talk about her advice to get into Yale
More minorities in Ivy Leagues please! I loved this video and I’m very glad you guys brought up that issue :)
That Andy from Brown is hot btw.
i love the dartmouth girl's energy, she seems so fun
ahhh this series is going to be so entertaining! can't wait for more :)
This is so amazing! I like listening to the insight from actual students and not what the media displays
Love this segment especially since I’ll be a prospective student at Harvard in the fall!
18:00 the Harvard guy looks dead at that point
ooh I liked this clever and creative!! Nice hearing from these brilliant students
@Abbi coming in hottttt. Princeton with the energy, making things interesting from the jump. Great content x
Also, Dom this is such a great idea! Keep Slaying the game! I love your energy all the time!
I love all the different backgrounds and the diversity in this
the latinx said he is white skined, so its not really diverse at all lmao
she is sooooo underrated! this is top quality content
both you and Kinsale are such icons
I love how bubbly you are! Great video I love all your series
This channel is so helpful! I’m a junior in high school and I’m gaining so much knowledge onto where I want to go.
I am loving this series !!!
I never comment on youtube videos, but this was such an informative and interesting video! Can't wait until next week's video
So, Elijah was talking about Harvard students being able to stay in the suburbs but also not being far from the city and being able to choose every weekend.I was wondering if Yale has that same aspect.
Don’t rank schools against each other! like kinsale said it’s hurtful plus you have to remember cornell and dartmouth have extremely low acceptance rates... Theyre way better than the other schools in the nation
harvard and stanford are WAYYYY harder tbh
yeshi choden stop.
@@yeshichoden3409 you’re saying “tbh” as if you’ve even been to any of the schools yourself lmao how would you even know how to compare them
@@robboss7083 yeah lol these kids prob haven't even worked enough to have to taste of the amount of work to get to to even on ivy
This was an incredible video! All of the comments were very insightful and really thought-out, and oh man, you did a wonderful job of moderating the group!! you earned a new subscriber:) and if you're still taking questions..
Could you ask the individuals of their motivations and strategies in getting into their Ivy League schools? Like obviously not a full how-to guide but maybe some basic tips for aspiring students (and show how it's not impossible to get accepted hehe)
Again thank you for this fabulous content, can't wait for Friday's conversation!
Hooray! Persons of Color!!! I love the visibility
I feel like it would be interesting to branch out with this series in the future and do like colleges from maybe the top 20!
GO PRINCETON! Love this new series Dom :)
So many New Yorkers here, represent! So proud of my state!
Omg this chat is so wholesome haha I laughed a lot 💓
I loved this video and gave a different and insightful perspective of every student. I would love if you also did a discussion with Public colleges that are still very well known such as UNC, UMich, UC schools, UMD, Stony Brook University etc. I think also including the perspective of students who go to top public colleges should be represented as well and are sometimes overlooked.
omg yes if you need someone from UNC im down 😤🙈
I’m down for UNC
Ayyyy Elijah, Madison Wisconsin represent! I went to UW-Madison, the best school next to Ivy League lol
Question:
Do you guys know students who have transferred to your school and if so was it easy for them to adapt to the school?
This one is for Chuka: I’ll be entering Cornell as a freshmen in the fall any advice for navigating the campus and getting used to Ithaca
nice mind sharing ur sat, gpa, etC?
Watching this video just made me so anxious because I mean, they’re all amazing universities but trouble comes when your ass to rank which one is best. Anyways, love this video and can’t wait for the rest!
wow, such a genius concept! I get to live my ivy dreams through all of you. I would like to know if any of you have met international students at your schools? from what I heard only columbia gives a fair shot to us that live outside of usa.
I'm international and I'm applying to Dartmouth columbia and princeton. For all of them I think they are need aware for international students.
The Dartmouth girl talks like she's doing a presentation lol (no hate at all tho)
The first 5 minutes of this video are so funny I am dying. 1) Princeton was savage and just went for it but in a great and hilarious and amazing way, and tbh imo it's also fine to be savage because all of this is elitist anyways so it doesn't matter lolol. 2) When Yale mentioned Cornell as a "fake Ivy" Cornell shrugged and then DID A WOAH if you missed this please go back and watch 3) Dartmouth "Don't put me in with Cornell!!" lmao anyways thank you Dom for facilitating this have fun in college y'all
How do you balance your social life and schoolwork? Are the courses rigorous or manageable? Do you have many options for your courses? Especially in these top schools, do you have time to socialize and make friends? How many courses do you take? Is your schedule flexible? How much time do you spend every day on homework? Where do you typically study or do schoolwork? Are your dorms nice and safe?
