I love Mr kitchen! And I've been wanting to try the others on this list for ages I just never get the chance when I'm in Melbourne. I want to add DonDon to the list of recommended places for cheap eats also.
I love watching how Delana gets so happy when she takes a bite you can really see how much she likes something, and she describes it so well. Really makes me want to eat whatever she's eating. John on the other hand, "mmm yeah, nice amount of grease" "ooh soaks up all that flavour, like eating a sponge" 🤣🤣🤣 At least he's an okay cameraman and taxi 😅
I've been living in Melbourne for 12 years so far, and haven't seen great experiences and food like this. Glad to see you guys who I've been watching for 4 years make these kinds of awesome videos! Keep it up chonny and dalena!

I always loved the food in Melbourne, I lived and worked in the CBD for a year it was a blast! I’d treat myself to lunch a few times a week just so I could try as much as possible. I miss Melbourne when your spring/summer comes around, I don’t miss the winters though 😱❄️

this just showed up in my recommended - yum !! can't wait to be back in Aus soon and eat all the good things in Melbourne and Sydney :D I imagine the mee would be vegetarian (most eat eggs) but it is probably egg noodles as well, and fish sauce has a way of sneaking into a lot of things lol. I just checked out the place with the xiao long bao and they have vegan xiao long bao which I haven't seen where I live (and we have a good Chinatown!) so 100% adding that to my list hehe! love from Ottawa, Canada

To be honest, your content is pure joy since no one really ever advertises for Springvale and you really can only hear about good restaurants via word of mouth from friends or family.
You guys really make me want to come to Melbourne! As far as the Pizza, the $1 pizza isn't as good as the $2 pizza which isn't as good as the $3! Plus it keeps getting more expensive here in NY. Variables include where the flour is from, canned sauce or house made sauce, type of mozzarella. My son and I once went to the 13 pizza shops that were within a 6 block radius from our home and compared all the pepperoni pizza then we ranked them. Now we go to Korean Chicken places and do the same. Yep, I do love comparing foods. I hope you make it back to New York some day but sometimes I think Melbourne has better food.

So, at your first stop I’d say that Chonny ate at least $1 worth of Da Lena’s noodles. Therefore eating a full quarter of the toast and egg dip keeps her under $10.

When I lived in Melbourne CBD I lived off cheap eats! My favourites were Crossways and Om vegetarian, you could get unlimited food for around $7, and it was delicious! Have you guys ever been?

Don Don is a super cheap japanese curry place near melbourne central!!
DonDon near the State Library wild be my recommendation for a cheep and quick meal, 90% of their meals are under $10 and they make them super quick!
