We have been wanting to release this video since the middle of this year but because of the second lockdown that we needed to go through, which unfortunately was delaying our plan.
So we knew we had to continue finding cheap eats right after the easing of restrictions in Melbourne.

That cinnamon, cardamom and sugar donut caught our attention immediately! LOVE cardamom 🤤

Love the excitement of the intro. This is quite the challenge for a big city like Melbourne. I bet the simple crepe has to be delicious. Yes to that meat pie!!! They are quite expensive over here. That Chinese donut looks perfect. You can find lots of affordable food at Chinese shops.

Uufff... We love a good burek! Never seen it as a snack, always on a plate. Chicken ribs?! That's interesting. Yes to dim sims too!! You guys did a great jobs with all of these food finds. It's also so nice to see so many people out and about behind you.
Ah we never had burek on a plate. We need to discover more of Turkish food here :) Yup many Melbournians are enjoying a little bit of freedom here, so glad we can now have a covid safe summer.

Ah we haven’t tried the lamb yet because we don’t particularly enjoy eating lamb.

That bagel is loaded! I've always thought Bagel is plain lol - I need to get out and explore the world more haha!! Love the amount of fillings in that dumpling. Can I increase my budget and get coffee to go with my donut? Love their concept, different days, different donuts. Wow the choux look amazing, crispy outside and soft inside with filling, awh!! Yes, donut and coffee are a good pair. We didn't get the coffee that day because it's already late afternoon haha, if it's in the morning we would definitely get it.

Borek 🤤🤤🤤 we love Turkish borek and Serbian Burek, in the Balkans burek is widespread everywhere but bosnians are very passionate about this dish. They say cheese borek isn't really borek.
We had tons of comments about it, it's quite interesting to see the conversations on our Channel about borek 🤦🏻♀️

Yes, it is the same cream puff as the one in Harajuku. It’s called Zaku Zaku if I remember it correctly , and we regret not getting that last time in Japan. So happy that we can have it now in Australia 🤤 so good!
Those Chicken Ribs would be good, especially with rice 😀. So many choices of cheap eats over there. My wife likes fancy bagels, I like it very traditional with cream cheese. You guys hit so many spots. How many days did it take you to film?

Look at the size of the meat from the Dim Sims! that must be filling! considering the price, this could be very satisfying snack or even meal!
That’s right! Two of these dim sims can make us quite full, so it’s a great size for snacks 👍🏻

The choux pastry is different than Spanish doughnut. The choux pastry is more like a hollow and light pastry with cream filling. With Spanish donut, there is no room for any filling, so it’s a lot denser.

Tokui sushi is the best in town
Ahh yes, we were meant to include tokui sushi, however they were closed for a quite long time when we filmed this video. We thought they are closed down forever after lockdown, turn out they are back open, yay.
Maybe I've been living in Asia for too long but most stuff you had seem to me atrociously expensive, ahaha! Only the Borek at 4$ seem quite filling and like being quite a good deal...
Ah yes, can’t compare the price of food with Asia. Here the living expense is also high 😊

Why no mask?
The first half of this video was recorded before the second lockdown in Melbourne last year when mask was not mandatory. But you will see the end half of the video, people wearing masks, as we filmed it after restrictions lifted in October 2020.
As for today, masks are not mandatory in Melbourne except at some certain places such as public transports, hospital, aged care, etc.

Who are we kidding? The quality of restaurant food in Melbourne is one of the worst i have ever experienced. Rancid stale oils, cheap nasty stale ingredients, ingredients deception, the list goes on. I wouldn't exactly be celebrating anything.
