I wouldn't go the FAKE CHINESE FOOD WAY on this one. There are plenty of "cheap pizzas" you can buy pretty much everywhere, even some brand names, like Tony's or Tottino's sell slightly more expensive versions of these (not counting the better DiGiorno individuals for like U$3.50 each). In "my neck of the woods" there are the infamous (5.3oz or so) Fox Deluxe pizzas and some store brand versions (I've seen Fox Deluxe for as low as U$0.83 or 6/U$5.00). Celeste pizza is actually rather tasty; the tomato sauce has some zest to it, and the toppings aren't awful. The crust tastes better from a microwave than an oven.
I feel even if a pizza was bad, for $1 after a couple of beers when you are feeling lazy late at night itll do the job, also my bowling alley had amazing made in house pizza when i was in minneapolis as a kid.

Anytime I walk by the Celeste pizzas at dollar tree I automatically think of the movie Don't tell mom the babysitter's dead..."mama Celeste's face up I'm gettin a job, mama Celeste's face down and Kenny's selling carnations on the freeway off-ramp".
That was one of my favorite movies as a kid. I remember hearing the brand referenced on a few shows and maybe back in the day they were better. I guess for a $1 they are ok but it's one of those things that you eat when you're drunk or stoned.
I used to microwave the Celeste pepperoni pizzas all the time back when I moved into my first apartment as a teen and was dirt broke. Don’t eat them much anymore, but sometimes still purposely buy and enjoy them as they’re pretty bangin for $1
I lived a few years with no oven, and would make these style pizzas in a microwave to cook the toppings, then crisp the entire thing with a frying pan on a hot plate. Works like a charm.
The pizza with the better crust always wins, you can always add more toppings, but it's a lot harder to improve the crust. The one with a better crust looks like a Totinos party pizza, and those ones have the same problem with the crust sticking to the pan. A little oil on the pan seems to help with the sticking, and makes it even crispier.

These remind me of the Tony's Party Pizzas I would occasionally fix for the kids' lunch when the grade school would have a lunchtime dismissal for the day. They were cheap and the kids didn't mind them at the time, but I wouldn't serve anything that low-end to them now as adults. (Of course, if either of my surviving kids were cooking for themselves on a tight budget, I can easily imagine them eating pizza from the Dollar Tree freezer case!)
I absolutely love your videos, I’ve been binge watching your videos for like 3 days and I absolutely love your tone of voice and just your take on these really cheap foods! Keep up the good work man
I'll take a 15.8 oz JACK'S Original Thin Crust Supreme Frozen Pizza from Walmart for $2.25-2.50 all day. Best tasting cheap pizza IMO. Oh and the Jack's Mexican style at 16.6 oz is pretty good too.
As a kid I would go after school and buy these and eat then before my dad got home (he went to night school) being broke and hungry made these the best 👏🏻
Not really a fan of frozen pizza but on the occasions where I do, I'm grating some more cheese onto it, I'll also buy some ham, pepperoni to buff it out a bit. Turns out quite decent afterwards Oh yeah I'll also lightly grease the foil (oil or butter) to stop it from sticking, usually works.
Dollar Tree is the only so-called "dollar" store left, that actually isn't just a "so-called" dollar store, because they're the only one left, where everything only cost one dollar. That's not true for any other "dollar store" anymore.
To make any of these taste great, Pour on a bunch of garlic salt before heating. Add more cheese too. Finally, replace the dough and sauce With a dough and sauce of your own and ta-da
They also carry Red Baron single serving for a buck. It's a solid seven and if you add some fresh ingredients ,onion, tomato, a little more mozzarella you got yourself a tasty pizza.

While Wagner and ötker are brand products and the cheaper versions are often crap, I tried a aldi stoneoven handmade one for 2,22€ cheaper than high end versions of ötker, Wagner and some other brands and it was really good, maybe the best frozen pizza I ever had. Unlikely this pizza was not in their permanent assortment that consists of 2,xx€ pizzas with good ingredients but a lack of spice.
I love Celeste pizzas, I started eating when was homeless, but I had to eat raw defrosted most of the time, sometimes got to heat in gas station microwave lol, but was still good
Pizza dough (and a whole pizza) is super easy and you can probably get all but one ingredient from Dollar Tree. You can make and freeze dough for future pizza, bread sticks, etc. DT sometimes has mozzarella cheese, but you can also get or elsewhere for 3-4$/lb. The ones near me usually have pizza, pasta, tomato sauce or alfredo and also Italian seasoning. Also pepperoni and stir fry veg (green and red bell pepper, onion), breakfast sausage, bacon or chorizo if you're into that. Ooh, pepper gravy might be good too with scrambled eggs and/or sausage. If you have the time, you could whip up a batch of dough for different types of pizza and freeze already cooked that just need to be nuked or raw that need to be thawed. If you're kitchen savvy and have time, whipping up and freezing dough has so many possibilities...... From scratch is also CHEAP.. But also a matter of having time, skill, ability, etc.....
Mr. P's pizza's were the same size from grocery outlet...i use to get 5 for 5$ and cook them on a George foreman grill ... just fold in half and they come out like a calizon...ooo😎👍
I have been eating these pizzas for as long as I can remember hands down one of my favorite cheap Foods but I just bought a couple for nostalgia's sake they barely put any toppings on them anymore I had a pepperoni one that was basically sauce with a dusting of cheese and maybe 10 little pieces of pepperoni They still taste the same but man are they lacking
Many a night during harder times we appreciated the existence of £1 pizza. You should try placing frozen pizza directly onto the wire rack in your oven to cook: helps cheap pizza crust immensely. Love your work!
When I was a poor college student, i at those Celeste Pizzas and I preferred them over every other cheap pizza alternative. Not only because it tasted better, but also because it had a good portion size. The Celeste cheese tasted so much better than other cheap pizza.
its been almost 20years since I've eaten Mr. P's pizza. The old green box with cube peperonis was so awesome when I was younger. I would get to cook it myself in the tiny counter top oven and take it out when the cheese was all brown and caramelized!
I’ve had the Celeste pizza on two occasions in my 31 years. The first time 10 or so years ago the pizza sucked. My next time was this past summer, and what do you know it sucked again. I’ve heard friends say they love that brand. They must like shitty food. Also on a side note I check the labels on food and actively look for TVP and now this frozen chicken fettuccine alfredo bowl I love contains that, and now I can’t eat the chicken because all I think of is a sponge and I gag. So long story short, the meal now just becomes fettuccine alfredo ...
Maybe the celeste was old I have had them a few times and they were always pretty good but I cook mine in the microwave on the silver tray so it still comes out crispy
They're using the same trick Red Baron used to use with their french bread pizzas. It's the same technology as the crisping sleeves Hot Pockets come with.
If you ever have to microwave a cheap pizza where it's completely limp just roll it up into a pizza burrito, way better than trying to eat it in slices when it's limp
wierd, i actually like the celeste pizzas. its one of the few frozen pizzas that i cant actually taste the mushrooms. im worried that they changed the recipe, the cheese was always gooey, and the crust was better than tombstone. hmm.
It's to late to warn you but I would have said donnnnttt do it dont eat the mrs ps lol they are terrible I do enjoy the celeste pizza though its half decent
The major cost of pizza is dealing with customers, if you can make it on a factory scale, it's just some dough, sauce and toppings, which are about 15cents worth per pizza (at scale). Celeste is awesome, just cook it a little longer to get the crunch.
Aldis has an amazing Mama Cozzi rising crust pizza I get regularly that is sold in 4 cheese, pepperoni and supreme if I remember correctly. It is only 2.79 usually, sometimes on sale for 2.19!
i've eaten many a frozen pizza just like these in my history. they provided a lot of enjoyment. amazed that 30 years later they are a dollar. I want to say they were close to $2 a pop when I was in college. Maybe I'm mis-remembering though. great video!
I love Celeste pizza and when I was little and I would go to my grandmas house I would always be so happy when she would give me a 4 cheese or a pepperoni one
Our bowling alley has these things called pizza nuggets and they’re deep fried small balls of dough tossed in Parmesan and herbs and you dip them in marinara with Parmesan cheese in it. Blows my mind

I enjoyed the Celeste pizza.
These bring back so many memories growing up! The nostalgia.
Mr. P's pizza's were the same size from grocery outlet...i use to get 5 for 5$ and cook them on a George foreman grill ... just fold in half and they come out like a calizon...ooo😎👍
🍕😋
Dan Banks wtf is a “calizone” you mean CALZONE?
"Everything at the Dollar Tree costs $1" Well, that certainly aged well, didn't it?
If you add cheese to the Mr P's. And put it on the oven rack. It's the bomb!
Wow, I haven't seen a Celeste pizza in years. They were popular when I was a kid.
Foodlion has their own brand of thin crust personal pizzas for 88 cents a pop. I love them. All kinds of different toppings to choose from.
I personally love the celeste pizza. I eat it at least once a week and have two of them in my freezer right now! LOL I give it 8 out of 10 for price.
Many a night during harder times we appreciated the existence of £1 pizza. You should try placing frozen pizza directly onto the wire rack in your oven to cook: helps cheap pizza crust immensely. Love your work!
"The bottom of the mr.p's looked weird like it was made of little strans of something.....so i took a bite" 😂😂😂
When I was a poor college student, i at those Celeste Pizzas and I preferred them over every other cheap pizza alternative. Not only because it tasted better, but also because it had a good portion size. The Celeste cheese tasted so much better than other cheap pizza.
I could care less, being a broke kid in 2008 Recession Modesto, this was the closest thing I had to a pizza. It's good if you bake it.
Cmon the recession wasnt that bad.
@@venictos Modesto is in the Central Valley, it's one of the poorest areas in the nation. Trust me, it was horrible. Many of friends lost their homes.
Big mood. Hope things are better for you now, bro.
The 2008 recession came from republicans bailing out auto manufacturers and real estate banks on tax payer money.
@@ricky-sanchez Lmao Obama helped a lot sending money overseas
its been almost 20years since I've eaten Mr. P's pizza. The old green box with cube peperonis was so awesome when I was younger. I would get to cook it myself in the tiny counter top oven and take it out when the cheese was all brown and caramelized!
You can't really expect much of a $1 pizza
@kmiller9959 that's how mafia works
you can Expect , Obesity, High Blood Pressure, and Diabedus from eating $1 Tree Pizzas.
Totinos Pizza are 1.25 at Kroger. That's the lowest quality I'll go.
@@uuglyddoll8333 - ENJOY eating those FAKE Ingredients

This is my new favorite channel! Now I can watch someone braver than I try food from the dollar store.
So long story short, the meal now just becomes fettuccine alfredo ...
ignorance is bliss
I love the delivery of these videos
Man I love frozen pizzas. Especially Digiorno.
Digornio are on the higher tier of pizzas, they aren't poor man pizzas.
Thats why I said "especially Digiorno". I like the cheap stuff too.
Minnesota Guy same
If you can find it, try Jamaican Jerk California Pizza Kitchen.
Digiorno is delivery not frozen pizza.
Another great video good on you Larry
You can get the Totinos ones on sale for a dollar or less depending on your area. They probably taste better
Totino's pizza has it's own unique taste, no other frozen pizza tastes like it. It's so strangely delicious.
I like this intro .. the fact you pinpointed what you was feeling and fixed it.
Maybe the celeste was old I have had them a few times and they were always pretty good but I cook mine in the microwave on the silver tray so it still comes out crispy
How can you make a pizza in the microwave and have a crispy pizza?
@NatarisX obviously u never had a celeste pizza ....they come with a silver cooking disc and they make your pizza crispy in the microwave
@@Just4kGaming celeste pizzas come with a silver disc u set your pizza on to.cook it in the mic and it makes it crispy
They're using the same trick Red Baron used to use with their french bread pizzas. It's the same technology as the crisping sleeves Hot Pockets come with.
I bought some of these and it didn't come with the silver tray.
If you ever have to microwave a cheap pizza where it's completely limp just roll it up into a pizza burrito, way better than trying to eat it in slices when it's limp
Always did the taco but same principle
wierd, i actually like the celeste pizzas. its one of the few frozen pizzas that i cant actually taste the mushrooms. im worried that they changed the recipe, the cheese was always gooey, and the crust was better than tombstone. hmm.
You can add extra toppings at home... like onions, olives, peppers ect. Makes it taste better... or you could add extra cheese...
Take a shot every time he says pizza
I now have liver failure after playing your game. Thanks a lot
Or dont
Good morning Larry and friends
Thank u for your reviews
I used to eat Celeste pizza. Those were some dark times. The cheese has no give and has the texture of Elmer’s glue
If you eat it straight out the microwave it will burn your hands and the roof of your mouth and tongue.
@@ricky-sanchez I ate it out of the toaster
Aldis has an amazing Mama Cozzi rising crust pizza I get regularly that is sold in 4 cheese, pepperoni and supreme if I remember correctly. It is only 2.79 usually, sometimes on sale for 2.19!
Well, you can get it cheaper at Hananfords....(Eastern US market.)
89cents
I'm on keto and mouth's watering watching this.
*"Celeste - Authentic Italian Since 1930"*
i've eaten many a frozen pizza just like these in my history. they provided a lot of enjoyment. amazed that 30 years later they are a dollar.
The Celeste pizza is only .89 cents at price rite!
nostickpeople lol you have a price rite to 🤣
The "way better than nothing" pizzas. They definitely saved me from the awful trip to McDonald's more than once.
"It could of been a turd with sausage gravy on it." 💩♨️ ROFLMAO
S a n d s Coming up next week! :)
I might not always leave a comment , but I do watch all your videos, I love the consistency, and am a regular of the dollar tree too
Foil? Come on man use parchment paper. It's cheaper and safer than using Foil.
Rice MenaRQ some people only use foil I will never understand it
Nothing wrong with foil. The only people that need to worry about aluminum are those with renal disease.
If you’d have grown up eating foil with your pizza you’d understand, ?,!!, it’s that sensation in your mouth when you bite into a foil lased pizza I LOVE IT
Yes wanna be safe cooking that healthy dollar tree food lmao
I use foil all the time.
