Can’t wait to try these recipes, we are $1,800 in vet bills for our 5 month old puppy that diddly became very ill. That is money we did not expect to spend, sadly we still don’t know what is wrong with him, but gratefully it’s not Parvo!
Anyway this means we have very little to go towards groceries, I can’t wait to try the Pot sticker soup, it gives me the impression it will taste like wonton soup. The meatballs, pizza, etc. All look doable and yummy.
I hope the puppy heals 🐶. I am glad you like the recipes!
Grocer prices are through the roof! I thank heaven for every humble crumb.
Really liking your channel with the mix of Dollar Tree, crafts, cooking. Whatever else you do, please share. I like your humble personality and your voice is soothing. Truly!
Thank you so much!
Thank you for making good recipes for lower income Americans 😊
Glad you like them!
With rise of the cost of living . Thank you. Pls do more.
I eat soup everyday for lunch. My granny would always make me soup every day for lunch, and I’ve just carried it on
Yes thank you
Hey what is lower income. Does it mean you have a job and can’t keep your legs closed. So now you have to many kids and can’t afford to feed them the correct amount of protein to carb to fat ratio?
I'm allergic to mushrooms so I substitute on that. I do a quick "stroganoff" meal using Campbell's Cream of Bacon condensed soup, meatballs (or vienna sausages works), an onion, and ramen noodles. I sometimes even add some bacon bits to it.
.
Another recipe is to use ramen noodles, Campbell's Cream of Chicken with Herbs condensed soup, an onion (chopped and sauteed), a can of chunk chicken, and some shaker Parmesan cheese. My version of Alfredo without the expensive sauce.
.
I have a quick way to cook ramen noodles: I use one of those trays that are made for microwaving them but don't need the microwave. I put the noodles in the tray and use my Keurig without a coffee pod, and set for 12 oz or the large 'cup' setting (but not the travel mug setting). I let the noodles sit for 4 minutes in the hot water and then stir in my seasonings. They are nice and warm to eat, but not enough to burn my mouth.
I didn't even know about cream of bacon soup 🤯. As a bacon lover I definitely gotta look out for that now.
Dollar tree beef patties are surprisingly good
I love these type of videos, as a guy who's been broke for a long time, I've never went hungry..
How tall are you and how much do you weight.

OMGOODNESS!!! Can’t wait to try these recipes, they look fabulous! Thank you so much for doing these food recipes first us. I’m 75, live alone and very VERY close to the Dollar Tree. These meals are easy, fast, delicious and will leave me with some left overs( but not a roasting pan full )! 🤣😊
Hope you enjoy
Have you tried the beef crumbles? I was a little skeptical when I bought it but it exceeded my expectations. I get the beef crumbles, a bag of fries (from dollar tree as well), and a can of cheese sauce or the jalapeno Velveeta pouches. Nacho fries with spicy beef
So glad I saw this. I'm a low low income family right now and this is so great I always forget about dollar tree.
I’m happy that this helps, I definitely plan to do more
The Hereford beef crumbles are actually pretty good. At Walmart, they'll cost you three dollars, and change. At Dollar Tree, $1.25 per envelope. I bought 10 envelopes a week ago, and I'm already down to 4 left. ( They mix well with cheap macaroni and cheese. ) They are a little spicy though.
Beef and bean burritos, delish. I pre make and pop in the freezer.
I also freeze fresh spinach - it's much better than buying frozen spinach!
Freezer burn spinach is disgusting
Be sure to harvest your 3-4 inch lambsquarter before tilling raised beds for planting. Freeze the tender tops for pasta, ramen, omelets. Free and nutritious. I keep those and end of season squash blossoms for quick extra taste and color all year long.
Jamie, I’m a chef and you’re a natural! All looks delicious!
I appreciate that
You should like some of the 3-can soup recipes you can find online. My favorite is fat-free refried beans, broth, and Rotel (or any chunky tomatoes). You can add things like the beef crumbles, chicken, etc., too.

Thank you for sharing this! This gives me ideas for meals for my son and thinking of ways to make plant based versions for me. With the gnocchi, we have tried it with salsa and it is yummy! When I make my plant based chili, I add pureed pumpkin to help thicken it up. You don't even taste the pumpkin because of the seasonings used. For some of the recipes, I usually make my own bread, cheese, and ground meat. Didn't know Dollar tree started having Old Fashion oats. Those oat meals are also known as over night oats among the plant based community. For me I would use apples that I have sliced, peeled, cored and cut into chunks and sautéed in water until softened, and then added a touch of cinnamon for a bit of extra flavor. With the pureed pumpkin, I would add pumpkin pie spice or the spices used in pumpkin pie. Sorry, just don't like cherries. With the nuts, I would grind them up before adding them, at least until I can get dentures so that I can munch on them again. My son likes to get cheap cheese pizza and put anchovies on them and bake them. He loves stroganoff and makes his own with two different kinds of mushroom soups ( one is roasted garlic), one can of beef broth and a can of mushrooms. Maybe I should tell him about adding some meatballs. Dollar tree also has Plant milk that is shelf stable. Both almond and oat. Don't use the oat milk in coffee. It doesn't mix well with it for some odd reason. It can be used for smoothies and other things. My son likes the sweetened almond milk for his coffee and to just drink. He is not vegan or plant based and likes some of my food which makes it hard for me to have enough leftovers to last about a week or two. Here I am getting all wordy again. Again, thank you for sharing this as it gives me all sorts of ideas for my son and I to be able to get some foods on the cheap whenever possible.Thank you.
Gonna try rice bowl with crumbles and can of beans. Maybe add peppers and diced tomatoes , onions topped with cheese.
Sounds yummy!
I'm coming to your house to eat! Add a chef hat to your list of talents. Most of all I appreciate your honesty about the product quality. I love your cooking videos! 😊 yummy!
Hi Jamie diy Donna here my kids all loved the pizza l made with dt The crust and the pepperoni. And I also got the pizza sauce that came out in the glass my kid's loved it thank you for sharing all of these great ideas with us
Thanks for the spinach idea! I never would have thought about freezing it myself! ❤️❤️
You are so welcome!
the beef crumbles taste pretty much like chorizo. pretty good.
Add some Italian Seasoning to the tomato sauce to make pizza sauce.

We don’t have dollar tree where I live which is in the Southern Hemisphere and not the same range or variety of processed foods you Americans have but on a budget you can really do a great deal with cheap canned and packaged stuff by mixing it with fresh in season stuff and make healthy great tasting meals at lower cost. I love this type of cooking here.

Awesome! Thank you! So glad you are here!
That milk is better than Mayfield It's organic and really good ice cold.
I love Dollar Tree. I will try all of these. Super job!
Like a breakfast bar in a jar.
The Contadina brand pizza sauce, which dollar tree usually has, is really good. It comes in a squeeze bottle.
I've never seen that but I'll look for it
Great ideas. I'm figuring these meals for the week to be about $70.00 or so? Bargain. Wish I had yt cooks like you years ago to watch and learn. Thanks for sharing.
Don’t forget the Italian seasoning on the pizza 🍕
I really like the meal ideas you created. Know these are easy to convert for people on certain diets as myself. I had never considered buying food at the the Dollar Tree outside of a snack. Thank you 👍
I'm still full from Dinner. Now watching this video, I am wanting to eat again. All that food looks delicious. Thanks for sharing all them with us.

@@TheCraftyDIYGuy I enjoy all your videos have a wonderful Sunday and that cutie pie 🥰 Otis and hello to your mom 👩
I like your show and your original use of dollar tree products. If you were thinking of purchasing the pizza sauce at dollar tree, please don’t it taste terrible but I do agree with your use of the Hunts tomato sauce. Everything looks really yummy and I’m definitely going to try the meatballs with the mushroom soup and noodles. Well done Patricia from Connecticut.
Thanks for the cooking video cooking!! I worked at Pizza Hut in college and like you not to long.
Jamie, these are some delicious looking recipes. Thank you for sharing all these budget friendly recipes.
Glad you like them!
Super impressed! These dishes look so good! Thanks for trying out the beef crumbles. I saw these and wondered if they were good. I'll try them since you like them.😊👍
Their spring rolls are also wonderful in the air fryer. When we get Chinese take out i save a lil money and make those to go w our meal.
You look like you are a good cook. Everything looked so good.
Thank you 😋
I seen this exact brand at Wal-Mart for over 3.50 a pack. As well as the meatballs
Oh my, everything looks really yummy! Can't wait to give some of these a try! Thank you Jamie for sharing these budget friendly meals!! I hope you will be sharing some more of these recipes ♥♥
Also with Clark's tomato soup add sage and one Roma tomato cut in small pieces improves flavor
I love the beef crumbles
I love the collapsible kitchen accessories. I have the measuring cups like yours. I have a colander recommended by Julia Pacheco. It rests over the sink. Love it! I also have collapsible food storage/ Tupperware containers & mixing bowls with lids I bought on Amazon. We have a small kitchen & had to make every inch count. No pantry, small. We assembled a pantry cabinet from closetmaid on a side wall next to the cabinets that act as a pantry. 86' built house... Anyway I love anything collapsible that actually works. Space saving is a must.
This video was right on time. Just this morning i was thinking about a can of pumpkin I have and what I was going to make with it. I never thought about putting it overnight oats. Perfect timing. Thanks for sharing. Love how the meal are quick and easy.
We ought to open a Dollar Tree meal Franchise to sponsor Dollar Tree❤🎉😂
Everything looks SO good!!! Thanks for the budget friendly ideas!!
Everything you made looked delish! Love your DT meal vids.
Enjoyed this very much. With so many crummy recipie short videos now I was pleasantly surprised to see some low price one pot meals. Nice variety too. New sub.

Thank you so much 😊
Thank you for the creative ideas! I got a good deal on canned tomato soups not at $Tree, so I can just sub those! Appreciate the clever, creative ideas!
Perfect for tacos
Hey Jamie! I absolutely ❤’d this video!! I struggle with food ideas and this was amazing!
Awesome! Thank you!
Everything looks delicious. I want to try the potstickers with the sauce you used on the pasta that you used the chili sauce. These are really great recipes. Thanks for sharing these ideas.
Okay I must say that I buy the flat hard tacos, the soft tortillas, they are really good . However I did buy the milk in the carton bought them before lots of times never a problem last time all of them where curdled. Means they had them standing outside in the sun. So I returned them all. I don’t buy frozen or cold food from the DT . Be carefull with them sodas too
Beef crumbles, pouch of refied bean, can of pinto beans, (tortillas, not from dollar tree, Mexican cheese)
Yup, soup and stew for me all year 👌🏾
So good
I never thought to freeze fresh spinach. I love the pot stickers by themselves.
So good
You can also freeze fresh kale 🥬
@@cynsi7604 reallllllllllyyyyy???? fresh spinach like I mentioned in my post. woooooooooow

@@cynsi7604 Oh I know, I was excited to learn there is frozen fresh spinach. I've always seen the small box of slimy spinach but never fresh! I have to look for it
OMG, Jamie!! You made me so hungry!! LOL!! These all look delicious and I appreciate your reviews on some of the products.... 🤗🤗👍😁👍😁
That meat chopper tool is amazing. I got one for myself and one for my mom. I have washed mine several times in the dishwasher and it is in great shape.
Instead of tomato soup, try tomato sauce and broth, probably chicken but veggie broth works, too. I do 2 parts tomato sauce to 1 part broth. Add a tablespoon of tomato paste if you want.
Great tip!
Thanks, Jamie ❤
Great meal ideas Jamie thank you. I have never seen most of the items at my Dollar Tree. But I will keep an eye out for them
Thank you for these recipes I always make grilled cheese sandwiches with the garlic bread, but I have never tried the other recipes, but I'm definitely going to do the beef stroganoff this weekend.
Awesome video! So many are stretching those dollars
If I was still living alone I would definitely take advantage of all of these recipes. I want them right now! But now, cooking for a family of four, I do make similar meals but go about it a different way. My niece told me about freezing bagged spinach and I keep forgetting to do it. It keeps you from throwing out bedraggled greens, which we end up doing just about every week. Great, resourceful ideas, Jamie.
Excuses, excuses… common people food not good enough for you ehh? 😡
They all look good!
Great ideas! May have to try that stroganoff!
Thank you
.awesome as always
Jamie I really liked your video. I live by myself as well and this would be perfect for me. Thank you for sharing.
You are so welcome!
These all look super easy and delicious!
Here's a meal I make for a breakfast or dinner:
Brown 1/2 diced medium onion in PAM spray or Avocado oil or Olive Oil. Add in 1 package Jimmy Dean sausages ( from DT frozen section - I cut mine up so I get more browned caramelized goodness) and brown lightly. Add about 3Tablespoons flour (all purpose or any variety of gluten-free) and cook about 3 minutes, stirring frequently. Add about 1-1.5 cups milk (cow's milk or non-dairy milk, such as oat milk). Simmer until slightly thickened. Serve over a heated, split biscuit, or mashed potatoes or rice or even a piece of browned toast. It's very tasty comfort food, and you can't beat the price!
One of things you can do for a change ,with gnocchi, instead of crm of mush soup, substitute chicken broth and add some grated cheese they have at dt yummy
Thanks for the tips!
I love the cheddar cheese
Great tips, Jamie! I look forward to trying some of these dishes.❤
Great video, Jamie! More please!❤
More to come!
I love these videos
WOW, Awesome recipes Jamie, So cheap to make to, they ALL LOOKED SO YUMMY, I am going to try them all of them is a change up, we all look for new things to eat, you are amazing cooking these things up.
