    Can you PLEASE make some videos about female hair loss. I am currently on 1.25 mg daily of minoxidil pills. I also use topical 5% minoxidil usually twice a day. I had to start taking the pills because in the last 3 years, I noticed that the topical was not working as well and that my hair was not throwing the same and it was a lot less thick. The pill is helping with the length of my hair, but the thickness has not come back. Is finasteride an option for women? If yes, what is the dosage that you recommend. What other options that aren't expensive do you recommend? Thank you for all of your informative videos!

    I’m 18 and only have frontal balding been happening since about 15 been on finasteride for a year and a half minoxidil since 16 and it’s stopped getting worse but not growing at all. Is a hair transplant an option at like 19? I have really thick hair everywhere but the front sides, and I would be okay if I have to get it done agian later on

    Can you please make a video on what normal hair shedding looks like? I lose tons of hair strands when I comb or wash my hair. This has been going on for a while, I can't tell if i'm shedding or if my hair loss is worsening and I should bump up my treatment.

    my doctor said forget all the gimmicks we have here.. needling, etc etc blar blar he told me I have all these available but they are just selling gimmicks
    I could offer you those and take your money, you waste your time coming here, waiting in the waiting area, driving across town and paying me a high fee..
    but ill be honestly with you they are do little.. yes they do something, but very little compared to Dutasteride! just take that daily and thats the best tool in our box..
    everything else is for other reasons, people who are allergic to drugs, get side effects etc..
    trust me he said.. just take this....I said..ok what about minoxidil?
    he said what about it? .. well I could do home needling and apply minoxidil to my hair and get better results?
    he laughed and said you have been watching you tube havent you???
    I said.. HAHAHA YEAH.. LOL he said.. my god..
    whjy would you want to scar your head.. make it bleed and damage it every day and then put monoxidil on it when you can get BETTER RESULT
    by just taking 1 pill of dutasteride!!!!
    everything else is just fluff compared to Dutasteride...

      It's generally recommended to not start both at the same time because then it's hard to determine which medication is effective etc. Just get on Fin as it will stop the loss (and even grown some back in many cases). Then after 6 months to a year you can see where you're at and then consider minox (because as soon as you start min, it's a life long commitment - as soon as you stop this medication, anything you've regrown will fall out fast). A lot of people find success with regrowth with Fin alone.

    • @SuperDodoe
      @SuperDodoe Рік тому +1

      The drug is the same be it a brand name or a generic, which is probably less expensive. I would definitely first start on a protocol of topical minoxidil and 1mg of finasteride 3x wkly prior to hitting the heavy stuff of dutesteride that will kill 90% of your DHT production.

      @@mutatednut in that case i would stick to dutasteride , maybe increase it, and stop using finasteride and compliment dutasteride, minoxidil with Pyrilutimide. You are probably losing hair because of testosterone and not DHT. Dut and Finasteride dont adress hairloss caused by testosterone, you need a topical anti adrogen that makes sure that even testosterone levels on your scalp are reduced. You can only achieve that with a topical anti androgen

Yes, because its still not on the market officially, its more expensive. But the downside is, you wait for it to be authorized , say in 2 years time, maybe its too late for your hair. But even Dutasteride was never approved for hair loss, yet many people use it. If I were you, I would give it a shot, you have nothing to lose, except your hair. You can get thesse topical online , but you need to chose one seller with good reputation. The best ones are Anagenic, Artifolic
