Great presentation. I have one to review and put together for my subscribers so this video came in handy. This strap as secure as a NATO well yes and no. Sure it’s a reliable strap but nothing is more reliable than a NATO because if a spring bar fails on the NATO you still have your watch. Something I never knew before and figured I’d pass that onto to you. Really impressed with your video and subbed because of it. I’ll be sure to check out more of your videos. Like the DIY watch kit being a gateway into watch modding, this video was a gateway to your channel. 😁

If I may just add an observation Joshua, and some advice for anyone wanting to try this, if you are right handed put the cots on your left hand fingers. There were plenty of occasions where you didn't seem comfortable handling the parts with just the protected hand and manipulating the tools etc. with the other but I appreciate it was your first go at this kind of thing and it can be frustrating fitting hands especially. Did I see another set of cots supplied in the box? It would be a good idea to use those too and be well protected, natural oils and alike from the skin may tarnish the movement over time. Great way for anyone to get a feel for watch assembly though, good job.

Oooh, interested until you said no sapphire Crystal.. at that price I think it’s a must. Didn’t look like ceramic for the bezel insert either.. shame. Nice looking watch.

Seiko 5 are 100M, hardlex, & cost £250, this is a bargain and this is still cheper than sourcing individual parts from good quality companies. as a modder, this kit is great value for a beginner. DIY Watch Club have some of the best tutorial vids on UA-cam.
