hey, i have recently had one of these installed to replace my last, is it possible to learn in an old after market remote that isn't centurion because i would like to have one permanently in the car and one on my keys? thanks
Hi I have an existing sherlo remote working on my d5, but I'm unable to add another sherlo remote, when I get to add remote by pressing the button, the d5 does not pick up the new remote. Please assist
our gate used to open by pressing once...then press again to stop for peds...then press to close...or press once to open full then press once to close full.....now i have to press twice.....how to set it back to once?????and what is time bar yes or no actually mean????

I have used exactly the above procedure at least 50 times to encode remotes into the D5 motor at our complex. Last month a contractor replaced the D5 with a new one. Now, despite following the above procedure, the controller does not respond to an input from a number of remotes with fresh batteries. Has the system been blocked by the contractor so that we have to pay him a call-out fee to encode remotes in future? If so, how can I unlock it?
Gate doesn’t respond. I’m same 4 button green remote, looks like a Nova. Just want to use another button. Any difference in programming the green remotes?

Innocent Ngom Jua Hi there. The D5-Evo is designed to handle a maximum of 150 operations per day, and thus it is being utilised way beyond its specification. What has probably happened, is that either the brushes have worn or the battery has been completely drained. Please contact our technical support team on +27 699 2400 for a more detailed diagnosis, but I would recommend installing a heavy-duty gate motor such as the A10 to handle the large traffic volumes.
My sherlo remote isn't picked up when trying to set it on my centurion motor? I get to the point where it says press remote but it never beeps in acknowledgment. I know sherlo remotes can be programmed as every other remote at our house is sherlo. Please help!
Gaz Mitraz Hi there. Thanks for your enquiry. The CENTURION onboard receiver in the D5-Evo will definitely only accept CENTURION's Nova remote controls. If other aftermarket remotes are being used in the system then the installer would have most likely added an aftermarket receiver that will accept those remotes. You will not be able to learn in non-CENTURION remotes to the controller.
Hi there. Make sure you are using a Centurion Nova remote. Then ensure the remote control battery is still powered (check that the LED light remains on when you press and hold the button down - a flashing LED shows you the battery is low). If the receiver is ready to learn in a remote then it will beep twice to acknowledge that the remote has been received.

+lettor gumede Hi there. If the controller is switching off and then back on this is a sign that the battery does not have enough power to run the gate. It will most likely have sufficient power to keep the controller alive but as soon as the motor draws more power the voltage drops and that is the reset you're observing. Please try and replace your battery and ensure that it is being charged (by making sure that the gate motor has power connected to it).
+Jessica Smith Apologies for the lengthily delay in replying to you. Yes, the round test button may be disabled (and enabled again) in Menu 10, General Features of the controller. Sub-menu 10.4 allows you to enable/disable it.
+Jessica Smith When the round 'test' button is set to be disabled, it is only disabled so that the gate cannot be triggered to run by pressing the button. All programming is still possible. However, re-looking at the comment it appears that you referred to the oblong button - sorry, I should have picked that up sooner. The oblong button cannot be disabled and if it is not responding then the controller has developed a fault. This can be caused by water ingress - and some other causes too. Please check the cover of the motor to ensure that there are no cracks visible (look from the underside). If you're still battling please call our Tech Support Call Centre on +27 11 699 2481 for assistance so that we can arrange to have this resolved for you.

I cleared/deleted all remotes then added a new one. But when I want to operate the remote nothing happens, just beeps and the Trg light goes red. I have tried over and over again with no luck
All's well you can programme for a myriad of options, open the gate, yes, now closing it... snag. Stop the gate... snag. Installers are not as helpful as the originator of this product.
Why doesn't this work for other remotes other than Centurion? It seems like a major design flaw. The gate motor didn't even come with remotes. Smells like a money making scheme.

Thanks for the respond, there was a mistake in a fault specification, i wrote baust fault rather it is DOSS FAULT
