Starting with the gate in the closed position, you need to press and hold the remote control button that opens the gate. The gate will start to open and keep going until it reaches the Pedestrian Open position and then stop. Then release the button and the gate will then continue opening to the fully open position. AutoClose will be overridden.
It's the receiver that holds the memory not the transmitter. The process of erasing the receiver's memory depends on the model type of receiver you have. It'd be much easier for you to discuss this with our Technical Support call centre on 011 699 2481.
I have a centurion d5, what happened is that while I was adding/learning another transmitter my son pressed the button on the other remote which we use for alarm, so now when you arm the house, the gate also opens. But the other button is not working anymore on that remote. Am using ET transmitters.
This is a good video, but the newer models don't work this way in terms of adding remotes. You have to go through the rigmarole of doing this on the control panel.
