Sunak to make a statement today stating an emergency law is being rushed through Parliament to prevent any new TV docudramas being commissioned without government approval. Starmer will state 'down with that sort of thing!' But a week from now will flip-flop & say a labour government wouldn't overturn this legislation.
One of the many problems with Tory Britain is that comedy is no longer comedy, it is simply pointing out the truth with a thin layer of sarcasm. It turns out truth is stranger than fiction
One thing popped up when Starmer was trying to get out of his involvement. He was boasting that he and the CPS had made 4 million prosecutions. Given their rate of failure with the Post Office, think what that means with regards to the victims of the CPS.
One of the main problems with Britain is Deluded Returded 🤡 who blame the Tories for everything, while blithely ignoring the institutionally rotten, corruption of Tony, Gordy, Mandy and Chemical Ali Campbell......and their insidious minions (KeiSter, Corbyn monoxide et al)!........
@adenwellsmith6908 I worked in an office on the same floor as our local CPS. And I can honestly say, they were an arrogant bunch of a-holes. They would physically push past us to get through doors or into the lift first. No amount of indignant comments from us seemed to have any effect. We could see into their office from the corridor. Folders, presumably cases for prosecution were piled up on the floor by the desks at the end of the day. Nothing was locked away. The cleaners actually refused to clean in there because case files were left open on desks with witness names and addresses on display. The cleaners said, quite reasonabĺy that if anything happened to a witness, they didn't want to be accused of involvement. Our office moved out about a year later, and the cleaners were still boycotting the room. It must have been filthy by then.
Question watched Carroll Vorderman Lbc interving a doctor about Unelected by the people Richys pledge of 450 billion over 5 years to the NHS, as part of this around 97 billion was given last, the doctor seams to think about 17 billion has been accounted for last year, so the big QUESTION is weres the 80 billion gone? Please fact check my numbers? She also said if you paid all the doctors and nurses the money they are asking for it would come to 1billion?
I sometimes listen to "Feedback" on Radio 4. It can be hilarious at times, they'll play a bit of a recent news report that's got listeners furious. Henry and Harriett in Tunbridge Wells will moan that it shows the rampant left wing bias of the trendy tofu eating "So called intellectuals" at the BBC, while Sebastien and Jocasta of Islington will snipe that the exact same item shows the disgraceful pandering of the BBC to the out-of-touch, conservative right wing imperialist anti-vegan patriarchy.
While the honed writing and nuanced performances are typically amazing, I think due credit ought to be given to the exquisite and budget-blowing graphics work for those new dramas.
'King brilliant! Thankyou soooo much for mentioning the Loan Charge!!!!!! That one will be coming down the tracks some time. Sadly, its got enough suicides at my last reckoning. I'm out of that for a few years now so am no longer up-to-date, but it can't have gotten any better. I probably won't live long enough ( now 65) to see it eventually happen but thanks again.
Great point, well made. We need immediate primary legislation to prevent ITV from making the government do things like this. Possibly. (Ooo, good job it wasn't a Channel 4 documentary).
It was the BBC who first brought the post office scandal to wider public attention after the problems were detailed in a computer trade publication. Radio 4 ran an eight part investigation into it a few years ago and has broadcast several follow up programmes. But they were only on the radio and "If it hasn't been on telly with somebody out of Corrie in it to make us watch, we didn't know about it."
Sad that all parties are involved. Andrew Bridgen MP was a hero in this story, and ITV News refused to report this story years ago, but ready to cash in on a drama
Reminds me of Brass Eye from back in the 90's. I loved that show. If you like this and havent seen Brass Eye. I highly recommend it. Which is why I love these guys. I watched one video and subbed right away. Bravo Larry and Paul.
Without A Trace starring Anthony LaPaglia. I used to love that show. One of the better American Crime Drama Series. Apart from CSI, etc...etc...etc..etc...etc...
Could we have carol vorderman playing the lead in Money for Nothing? She's a national treasure, so she is, guvnor, strike a light, apples and pears. Etc.
I was about to write a response to this video, but I was approached by Channel 5 and now they're going to make a movie out of it, starring Steven Graham
ITV have done a dramatisation of Dr Oxford. It won't cover any of the reality of what Dr Oxford actually got upto. A villain being rewritten as a hero.
At times, these two get as uncomfortably close to the real truth, as the original Spitting Image did. Great to see comedy that uses real concrete to slam into the faces of the viewers.
If Suranne Jones _and_ Sheridan Smith appear in the drama show, won't that cause some sort of Television Drama Favourites Critical Mass nuclear apocalypse?
I was hoping youd ask...the latest actor to play the character of Doctor Who (a TV programme) is not White. This has troubled some prejudiced viewers. If, as suggested in this video, a TV drama based on the Grenfell scandal were to be made, it's likely many characters would have to be non-White also owing to the ethnicity of many of the victims at Grenfell. I am implying that to commission such a drama would cause some TV casting executives to worry that they might exceed an imaginary quota of non-White actors they operate in order to avoid an undue volume of complaints from those prejudiced viewers. You may find yourself chuckling at the thought. Or not.
@@JosephWood1941-iz6mi I think the poster's point is that most of the victims of Grenfell were from ethnic minorities and having a non-white Dr Who has used up the allowance.
Capaldi was right, you couldn't reboot Thick of It these days. As amazing as these are it's not comedy, I can't find it funny, it's hardly even satire anymore.. it's just tragic how this country has been eaten entirely by the rich and they couldn't even be bothered to flush the steaming pile of shit they left behind. RIP Britain.
It still depends on who the perpetrators are. There was a very good TV drama starring Sheriden Smith about the Muslim rape gangs in Rochdale, but not even the viewing figures for that one could motivate the aithorities to actually do anything about the problem. Some scandals are just too scandalous......
Question do you think the postal scandal could be connected to intel government gathering op? Question why has most of the people involved in the scandal got a title, and cover all sides of the political divide? Just a question? A personal thought all bases covered,a party inside our parties may be, what do you think?
Painfully true. The sad thing is, even now the PO only have to wait for the next drama to come along and everyone will forget about it.

This is a bipartisan phenomenon. Have you seen the absolute clown show that Labour have been for over a decade too? That's why they can't get elected
One thing popped up when Starmer was trying to get out of his involvement. He was boasting that he and the CPS had made 4 million prosecutions. Given their rate of failure with the Post Office, think what that means with regards to the victims of the CPS.
If you think that the sham Tories are bad. Wait until Liebour gets into power.... Look at London to get a clue!

Never understood why it isn’t getting millions of views. Maybe not global enough in its targets.
Superb! Too bad it’s true
"put your trousers on,Postman Pat you're nicked" said PC Plod from the latest episode of Noddy goes to Toryland

Not really sure how to react. Perhaps if the BBC commissioned a mini series..
Should you not have described Mr Bates as Master. ?!
Brilliant! 🤣😂 and tragic of course. V for Vendetta. "Good evening London". "...you only need look in the mirror....".
Very good but very sad!
Reassuring to know that our tax is being well spent. It's all about protecting the _"right"_ people.
BBC: Piss off.
I'll bet they'd like to say that on occasion.

Sadly a true reflection of reality in broken U.K.
This would be a fantastic comedy sketch if it wasn't a real drama. Bravo 👏👏😀
British integrity, professionalism and accountability at every level, in a nutshell.

Covid 19 starring Richard Brannaggg as Bogus Johnson and Andy Sirkis as Gollum Cummings. Coming to a tv near you soon.
So true.
lovely story

Is this true? I do not live in the UK... But it would not surprise me... Seems escapism is a national sport there...
What a lovely story.
Yep, hit the nail on the head again. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
Excellent!
Bang on the money as usual.
Surely the best one yet! Chef's kiss!
Brilliant satire 😂
Well the BBC do have to justify their licence fee?
Guys, you just get better and better 🤣😂🤣
Brilliant ❤
Looking forward the the Channel 5 show; "The Blair Weapons Project".
I knew I should have been Sheriden Smiths agent. Gosh all that lovely commission.
Absolutely brilliant comedy, but then we have come to expect nothing else.
They deserve spoofing .......but sometimes you cant tell🤣🤣🤣
With so much sad news in the world, it's great that this channel continues to bring such "lovely stories".
Boys, you get better and better.
Fucking brilliant and tragic in equal measure
Torturous, but true isn't it. Cheers chaps. 👍
You real news people should think about going into comedy
Money for nothing and the PPE Free
SENSATIONAL 🤡🤡🤡🤡
It gets harder and harder to exaggerate the truth enough to make it satire. Good effort. A+ (oops, that changed before my eyes. I didnt type that)
Brilliant. Knocked out the park! Smith and Jones have a lot of work to do.
Yes. Jones will have to resurrect Smith first. A complicated job in itself!
As always, spot on. 😉
Right on the button.lets see the scripts for these upcoming drama's.

They’re not wrong😬
Grenfell was more to do with the council building control officers working from home and doing a bunk before any inquiry.
Pre-covid. No one was working from home - although how sitting at a desk in one office (sans commute) or another makes a difference..... Not sure.
Without A Trace starring Anthony LaPaglia.

Truth masquerading as satire. Not funny at all😢
