I love how you incorporate God into your videos and our hair. He indeed did fearfully and wonderfully create us, including our hair.

Knowing my hair porosity and how to care for my hair has been the best thing that ever happened to my hair. I'm from a family where our hair grows really slow. And also, we don't have that beautiful hair texture. I'd tried different products and nothing was working. When I learned my hair was low porosity and I understood that that my hair needed lighter products and oils that can easily penetrate my hair strands, that when my hair started thriving. I got lighter oils for my hair, washed my hair with warm water, used lightweight conditioners and completely stop using butters that will just sit on top of my hair and give buildups. When I started caring for my hair the right way and not just following everything I saw people do on UA-cam, my hair started to grow longer and thicker. My whole family is now surprised that my hair could ever grow an inch. They'd asked me to go shave it since I didn't want to use extensions when braiding.

Hi Charity, I think my hair is high porosity and loses moisture quite easily. My strands are fine but loves thick products. Lately, African Pride has been my go to brand. I thank GOD for my hair and its striving. ❤

Yes I know my hair porosity. The knowledge of my hair porosity, has been the most helpful information in my hair growth journey. Prior to knowing, I was mainly doing trial and error, now I know specifics on hair care tailored to my specific hair type. Now I have seen visible improvement in my hair retaining moisture, as well as growth. I wish I had known about my hair porosity, a long time ago but I am glad I know it now.

I think it's important to know your porosity so then you can work out why it does certain things. I am high porosity and my hair loves oils and butters because it needs it to seal my fragile strands.

Thanks 😊 and God bless you. I quite agree with you, bcos even in ancient times, our ancestors especially in Africa knew nothing about porosity but took care of their hair with herbs that God provided and their hair thrived and blossomed. So whatever we do , we should always make God our first priority. And that's what I love about you. You have never not talked about God in all your videos. Thanks again 🥰 and God bless you. My prayer is that as christians, we make it to heaven. Amen.

For me, knowing my hair's porosity isn't important at all. Not knowing, for certain, what it is has not affected my hair care or length retention. I've kept my hair care simple all I do is shampoo, condition, and style. I style in twists on occasion, but I'd say 98% of the time I style in a wash-n-go. The styler I use depends on which style I'm going to do. If I'm doing twists I use either leave-in or mousse. If I'm doing a wash-n-go I use spray leave-in and medium-hold gel or custard.

Hey sis! How are you? God bless you! My hair is 4c thick low porosity thick strands, but funny thing is my hair prefer lighter product lol. For some reason my hair thrives better with water base light leave ins. My hair doesn’t like thick creams and thick butters 😅 but with my hair being low porosity, it’s thrive better when heat is added to open up the shaft to receive in the products. Thank you for sharing this 🙏🏽
