After watching 10 other low porosity naturals, I finally found someone whose hair is exactly like mine. Thank you for this simple routine. I didn't focus on smoothing the product in my hair after applying the warm water, I would just smooth it out like 10 sec and then apply leave in and butter but realized my hair needs more help to absorb the product. Keep up the great work!
That means you have high porosity 💟. Low porosity means that the hair very slowly absorbs there hair and only takes what it needs which leads to product buildup. Whereas high porosity quickly absorbs everything it can get.
Adding vegetable glycerine to the water spray also helps to keep the hair moisturize longer following your other steps. My hair now stsys moisturize for about 2 weeks now. Also, instead of you using the comb, use your fingers to detangle like a comb. Its a game changer.
Thanks for the tips! This video is pretty old and I began incorporating vegetable glycerin shortly thereafter after. It has certainly upped the moisture retention. Thanks for watching 💕💕💕
I took me forever to figure out that I can't moisturize my hair when it's wet either!😭My hair would dry so hard and tacky feeling cuz the products didn't sink in!😭 I have to air-dry like an hour or two on Wash Day before I can moisturize it.😭 And *ALL* the natural hair youtubers (even those who claim "low porosity") say moisturize on wet hair.😭 #TrailAndError #TheStruggleWasTooReal😭

Tee tree and Peppermint should be used occasionally not really for a moisturizer. They mainly serve the purpose for scalp treatment eg dandruff, and once the hair problems are resolved, it should be used even less possible once a month or every other month.

My hair gets wet after a time but easily dries, damn 😠 i even feel tired of dryness and retaining it's moisture.
Hey there 👋🏾 Have you tried using vegetable glycerin and water mix? It has worked wonders at helping me retain moisture as well. I hope this helps.
If you focus on the beat of the song that’s playing and watch her hands, they kinda go together 🤣
😂😂😂
Do you just wear your twists out throughout the week?
Yep! I wear my twists in a bun mostly throughout the week and unravel for a twist out on the weekends.
@@QuijuandasGot it! I’m gonna give this a try! Thank you sis ☺️
Thank you 😊
You’re welcome 💕
How long do you leave you hair like that?
I usually unravel the twists after a couple of days but it all depends on the style I am going for afterwards.
how much do you keep it on?
Hello there :) I’m not sure what you mean exactly but when I moisturize my hair, I do not rinse it out. I wait until the next wash day. I wash my hair every week and a half to two weeks.
Is this a midweek routine or wash day?
Wash day but I complete the same process midweek if needed. Thank for watching 💕
How often do you do this per week?
Twice at the most :)
@@Quijuandas Thank you so much for your tips; LIFE SAVER. I will definitely give this a goin hopes that my hair will be much stronger and more moistured 😁❤️
but my I don’t know how to do twist
You don’t have to twist your hair in order for it to retain moisture. My twists weren’t anything special but I’ll add a twist tutorial of some sort to my list of videos to film :)
Simple. Clarity & stop with the oils & butters
Thanky soso murch❤🙏🙏
Welcome 💕💕

My moisture doesn't last a week
I hope you find a routine that helps you retain moisture longer:)

As a guy with a hi top should I do LCO method everyday to moisturise my hair??
Hey there! I can’t really give you a definite answer because I don’t know how your hair feels but I personally moisturize every 3 days or so. That’s typically when my hair starts to look/feel dry.
Depends on your hair porosity. It can love the LCO or LOC method.
If your hair is wet then it already is moisturized....there is no such thing as moisturization without water 💦
She is not advocating no water!
She said DAMP
