Practice, practice, practice!!! That’s the only way to get better at anything you do. I found out last week that I need to practice my hook cast again, so I can cast around larger objects to get behind them.

I don’t know if you can still find them, or if they were even universal, but Tibor used to make a “speed handle” you could put on your reel to basically “gear up” your retrieve.
