My lips always used to be cracked and peeling, then I started slathering on aquaphor lip repair all day every day. Finally no more dry lips! They also have an SPF 30 version 👌
My absolute favorite is the neutrogena hylauronic acid lip treatment. I love it so much!

It took me a long while to realize that those terrible EOS lip-balms were aggravating my eczema - not just on my lips, but around. Slathering Aveeno Eczema Therapy balm and/or Vaseline on my lips to bed has been très bien.

I’ve been purchasing these small lip tubes in the Twin Pack. They are not inexpensive but just a small dab on your finger will cover your lips. I use this after brushing my teeth in the morning and before I go to bed.
I have lip-balms in my desk at my office, my desk at home, my purse, my car, and in each bathroom of my house. When one goes missing, (usually because my husband steals it), it ruins the whole balance of things. LOL! Thanks for the list...I love trying out products you recommend!

Dr. Bronner's Naked Organic Lip Balm is absolutely fantastic. My lips were always dry before I started using it. Now, never! It stays on all night, and I'm not a back sleeper. I get it at Target or Whole Foods. :)
I heard about Lansinoh nipple cream as a lip balm from a couple of UA-camrs and it has become my favorite!

The Cicaplast lip balm from Roche Posay is really good as well! Only thing that worked for me while I was on accutane!
This and paulas choice lip balm are the absolute best!
I'm a lip balm addict! For some reason, there is always like five of them in my purse.
I purchased the Avene Cicalfate lip cream. I got it off Amazon. This is a product that I never had heard of before so I was curious to try it out. I must say that it is awesome!!! Not sticky, not smelly and stays on my lips without traveling onto my face. My lips are dry all year-round but it's terrible during the winter. Avene lip cream has made my lips so soft and I'm glad I spent the money on it.
My favourite is Avene Cold Cream lip balm. But during the day I use Paulas Choice SPF 50.

I love my aquaphor healing ointment from my dermatologist, but the thing that never fails to keep my lips moist overnight is the Vaseline rosy lips. Idk why but that one works better than all the other Vaseline ones I've tried.
Nothing has given me dry lips like wearing a mask, off to target to purchase a couple of these. Thanks Dr .Dray

I randomly found a Norwegian neutrogena lip balm with spf 15 at cvs. Best one I have ever used.

The Clinique moisture surge lip is my favorite! I’ve tried different petrolatum based lip balms, and to me, this one has the nicest texture.

Love this! I also use the Jack Black intense lip therapy spf 25 (the Shea butter one) and the Neutrogena revitalizing and moisturizing tinted lip balm spf 20.
I do as well. Although, it does have lanolin in it. So far, it hasn't been a problem.
I use the Paulas Choice SPF 50 but Ive heard good things about the Jack Black one.
Loooove the Jack Black if I use it consistently for two days my lips are different lips. That and aquaphor are my faves.
One reason I hate winter is dry lips and it seems I can never get they right lip moisturizing 😭. But I will be trying some of your recommendations! Just want say you are amazing Dr.Dray and thanks for sharing the good stuff ❤️❤️

I got the Sun Bum recently, I love it! It does have the slight white cast but not too bad, maybe a shade or two lighter than my lips. Feels good and hydrating too, no weird taste / smells 😄
@Dr Dray A dental hygenist noticed my son was a "lip licker" and had a constant chapped mouth. She recommended A+D Diaper ointment (or any similar generic brand--I use Target's Up&Up) and it really was a game changer. I even started using it myself. A huge tube costs less than $3 and lasts a long time. Now that I have chapped hands from frequent hand washing, I use it on my hands, too.

Let me put y'all on to Jack Black Lip Moisturiser. It's marketed for men but it does a good job.

Vanicream lip doesn't leave a white cast on me. It changes from the white cast to a soft pink natural lip color. I am fair skinned. The color would be too light for darker skin tones.

Vaseline for me makes my lips nice and moist for an hour or two and then it gets chapped/cracked and I have to keep reapplying frequently. I feel like petroleum jelly isn’t good for my lips
The nuxe honey lip balm is my new overnight lip balm and it is amazing!

I'm thankful for these videos, because even though petroleum jelly seems like the obvious solution, I simply can't use it without risking getting a breakout if it transfers anywhere outside my lip area.
FYI the Vaseline lip balm has "Flavor" in it, which could be fragrance. I had an allergic reaction.

I really enjoy the little Vaseline tubs that are for your lips. I put it on before bed & when I wake up my lips feel amazing. They have original which I believe is fragrance free

My night-time favourite is the Avene Cold Cream lip balm. I have very dry, cracked lips and its the only thing that works. Every other lip mask or chapstick only makes my lips worse somehow??
I do have the exact same issue, the only lip balms to work for me are either the Avene Cold Cream or the Avene Cicalfate!
Almost every other lip balm makes the issue so much worse.
Tipp: apply Vaseline on top of the lip balm over night.
Locks in all the moisture.
I once forgot applying lip balm - woke up with a bleeding crack in my lip, due to the dryness…
That avene lip looks so good , I've been using a beeswax/shea butter/olive oil chapstick and it's just not cutting it since it got cold
lip balms are essential for me always. I cant stand to deal with dry, dehydrated, crusty lips ever. i ve been using the cerave healing ointment on the lips when at home which is practically all the time.

Paula’s Choice Lip and Body Treatment Balm has saved the day when nothing else could. I wish it was packaged in a squeeze tube instead of a jar but at one point they claimed the formula is so emollient that it melted packaging other than the thick pot.
I use the Paulas Choice SPF 50 lip religiously (during the day)

It's worth mentionting that Petrolatum is not a good option for acne prone skin. I used vaseline lip therapy and ended up with acne all around my lips. I went back to my labello stick. It's has less watery feel, which what i liked about vaseline lip care, but at least it won't ruin my face.

The cerave healing ointment somehow dries my lips out. Probably because I am in the cold climate. However, the Aveeno eczema therapy itch relief balm in a big jar is heaven for the lips! I put it on every two - three hours and it cures all the cracks whatsoever!
I’m glad I’m not the only one that Cerave didn’t work for, I thought it was just me! 🤷🏽♀️

I love the Rohto Mentholatum Lip The Color SPF 26 PA +++. Moisturizing, pretty colors, and has spf with no fragrance or flavorant. I’ve found a lot of spf lip balms to be very drying but this one is very moisturizing and comfortable. I only wish that same formula came in a clear option, that would be great.

Flexitol lip creme has 2.5% urea. Helps keep the flakes away! Slightly scented though... kind of like blistex. Best ever!

jack black lip balm in mint is my fave, it has spf and protected my lips even when i was skiing!
I know fragrance is bad but I NEED IT. It encourages me to apply lip balm which I probably wouldn’t do if they didn’t have fun smells, lol.

Thanks for sharing Dr Dray! I've been on the look out for tinted lip balm. I've been so sad because in one of your old videos you said to avoid products with yellow, red, and blue dye. Can you please review Em Cosmetics' Lip Cushion (it has vitamim e and hyaluronic acid), Daydream Cushion (serum infused cushion blush with spf 50++++, niacinamide and micronutrient complex), and their Color Drop Serum Blush (has hyaluronic acid, feels like skincare but looks like makeup). The line is vegan, cruelty free, and some are gluten free. I'm tempted to try these products because I miss wearing makeup but don't want to irritate my skin because I have liittle sprouts of rosacea, broken capillaries on my cheeks.

I’ve bought many different kinds of lip balms and the only brand that really works for me is Lypsyl, it’s inexpensive and very effective
I love the Colorescience Color Balm in Blush but agree it is so drying! I found the Chapstick Total Hydration Moisture + Tint SPF15 (zinc oxide filter) in Peachy Keen is a pretty good dup if you can look past the added fragrance. It is very hydrating.
