It would be really awesome if you could tell us what kind of jobs are available to a reservist! Love your channel man.
Good opportunity if you want LE experience and Maritime experience. Great also for that sweet GI bill and TA.
It’s 2 years active duty, 4 in the reserves. Could be great depending in the individual.
Can you do a video on the new reserves for aviation
I had 2 question:
1. So the 2 year contract only allows you to get up too 80% of the GI Bill?
2. If I were to a 3 year contract, how does that work out once I’m done with the three years? 1 year reserves?
Hey man! Do you know if the CG is doing wavers for dependents or medical right now? Seems like this 2 year contract change indicates a need for more people?
Love your videos. Do you know something about becoming a PA through CG?
Is there a program?
Glad if you can make a video for that and med school through CG.
Hey, thanks for the video Julian, if you have some time, maybe we could talk soon!
This is dope for anybody that wants to become any LE that requires a bachelor but can't afford school. You can save up your first 2 years active reserve and go to school for free for the next 4 year while soaking up experience.
What’s an LE?
Wish they always had this
But if I enlist only reserve I pick my preferred location. With this contract do I pick my location for those 2 years?
Is there a sign on bonus for the 4 year contract?
Do you know a Coast Guard reserve officer recruiter in south Florida?
I hear some who originally enlisted 4 years active are being allowed to use this option after two years active duty. Is this true?
How many years do I have to serve in USCG as a reserve in order to get the VA
Can I be an officer and still be a boats-mate or a leader within that field?
Do they get veterans benefits (disability, housing, healthcare? etc )as Coast Guard?
Yes, all the same benefits as the other branches.
I have a question, how is the pay will I be able to make a career out of the Coast Guard or will I have to get another job?
Check out my military pay video.
I am currently enlisted and I am an E-5 with 9 years and I make around 60k a year with full medical benefits
What if I did Coast Guard for 2 years then go straight to Law Enforcement afterwards? How would that work with the remaining 4 years in the reserves?
Your department has to allow you to complete your 1 weekend 2 annual weeks.
I think a huge opportunity for the coast guard would be to make the MSRT its own rate, like how every other branch has a dedicated special operations billet, and add an EOD rating.... - An ET3 that just wants to do tactical things 😥
Yup, send those 2 yearers to the big white hulls and make em deck force and mess cook. Save the real billets for the 4 yearers.
#gotyoassnow 😂
Agreed lol
@Daniel you will definitely get bait and switched. Get all that in writing with a recruiter or you will go to a white hull and waste 2 years of your life
Put be on boys. I’m looking to join the uscg and originally was thinking 4 years but if I can do 2 that will be great. I guess my question is what is a white hull and deck force? What’s the joke 😂
@@MooMoo69556 put me on boss 😂😂 because I was thinking 4 years saw this video and started thinking 2 but your comment got me.
I am putting my officer packet together now for USCG. I have a girlfriend of 5 years and i want to do intelligence. Will i get deployed away since we arent married?
Did you get in yet?
@@handsome567 actually stopped pursuing it based on recent events. They held my packet though so if these mandates go away I may reconsider
@@icya5844 THE MANDATES ARE NOW GONE
@@JK-yn1dz no masks? No shots?
@@Gabriel_the_Shemite idk about masks, but no shots
