@@pyropanne9980 I just mean that likely it's not much more than a Scrubs reference since otherwise I don't really see the show doing something like this.
I Still don't understand why The middle is not as famous as the other top sitcoms In my opinion this a great Show, I feel a strong personal connection with all the characters in this shows it is beautifully portrayed as they Grow up and later move on Some people might criticize me But this show for me is on equal footing with shows like Friends and Office.

Because it is so derivative and basic, they called it "The Middle", as a latent reference to Malcolm in the Middle.... Like with the casting of that odd-looking boy, of which Malcolm in the Middle had two or at least one. Aside from plenty more elements or technicalities. And generally it was as mediocre and basic as this. Casting the janitor of Scrubs is cool... if it doesn't get nearly as captivating as it, what's really the point. (And they basically don't get further than that initial "it's cool" with just about anything. At least it hardly comes across, except maybe on the closest viewing...) Even if something about that is unfair or inaccurate, I think that's part of the general perception.
Yep, he had several identities, including “Glen Mathews”, and his Scandinavian alias, “Jan Itor”. I also think he was a bigamist with his earlier wife “Lady” and here with “Frankie” and their kids. I wonder how many occupations he held, before and after janitor and quarry manager?
That may not even be Janitor's actual name. Not even a full minute later in that episode, an acquaintance(I'm guessing) says, "Hey, Tommy." "Glenn"/"Tommy" acknowledges what he said. So, who knows? I'd like to believe that's his actual name as much as you do. Trust me. I hate it when "Tootsie Pop mysteries" occur.
@@nerdymusicianfangirl7024 now look. Janitor's name is Neil Flynn. If you go watch the movie The Fugitive, you will see Neil Flynn playing a security guard. In that movie's credits in real life it says that character was played by Neil Flynn. In Scrubs, JD spots the janitor in that movie and later confronts him about it. The janitor fesses up to being in that movie, and admits to having acting on his resume. Then he threatens JD, to keep him quiet about it. So, despite all the fibs spouted about the name issue later on, the Janitor's name in the show is Neil Flynn. Bill Lawrence is a genius.

The recently deceased Ted Lloyd’s character “Ted” played the air band guitar solo, and Janitor was the air bassist. (RIP Ted. I hope everything is groovy for you up in Accountant’s Heaven!)
I love when a show gives a nod to a character's previous roles on another show. Fun fact: a good deal of the Janitor's lines on scrubs were improvised by Neil... The writers figured out he could usually come up with better material than they could write for him.
Me encanta esta escena y además el tema de Boston para mí es la mejor canción que ha existido jamás, me siento muy identificado con Mike cuando voy solo en mi coche. YEEAAAAHHH!!!

OMG that is so funny I can’t believe Mike was singing and then when he catches his family watching his facial reaction was funny and then he drives off.😂🤣
At first i didnt liked the middle. I thought it was a cheap Malcolm in the middle rip off. But now i think there are equal types of high quality tv entertainment.
Cameron Whyte Well, everybody finds Sue annoying. They wrote her that way. 😮 Due to all those narrow-minded, outdated US high school clichés, she officially got rare popularity potential. Lucky , the girl's an absolute sunshine and able to handle the downsides of life with all that (annoying yet admirable) enthusiasm. I caught myself feeling almost jealous of her when she went through the "waiting for college responses" - phase, because her overly ambitious, positive nature helped her deal with it so much better than most of us do (I mean, until all her friends got in and she completely lost it eventually). I don't think I could hang out with the Sie from the early season for longer than an hour, that sure gets challenging, yet I can't deny I admire her charisma - It's much easier to be pissed or aloof or cynical. Plus, she functions as a perfect counterpart towards the rest of the family!
So? I still whale out on Boston - More Than A Feeling :D Great song, grew up with it :P Middle aged fathers or not, if we still have the chance we jumped on bed playing guitar on a broomstick on our favourite songs ;)
Mike, the guy in the car by himself, is very calm and even keeled. He shows little to no emotion. Many jokes on the show are directed at him being "dead on the inside". So, to be caught enthusiastically jamming out to a song in the radio is a real step out of character for him. He spends the rest of the show denying it was him they saw.
+Jansen Schmidt He is the husband and father o them. The mother and kids went to buy a new table in one of the family car. But suddenly, the father appears next to them in the other family car. They are surprised to see him sing that way, because he is not like that at home. When he realises that they are watching him, he is so embarrased that all he can do is to leave without saying a word. Then, at home, he gets mad when they remind him what happend.
That show felt derivative and mediocre as heck, but somhow putting such an elaborate reference in it gives it some amount of soul (more than the faintest glimmer as usual by its derivativeness or main actor).

Are you kidding? "Friends" is just a boring second-rate trash in compare with "The Middle".
it's called The Middle because they live in "the Middle." I'm also convinced that Modern Family got this show's entire marketing budget.
It's a perfect mix of "poor family" and "trying to survive" and "we're actually better people than most." I loved the time they ran the dishwasher.
