Ah ok! I think I remember seeing clips of Haze using the oki on the wall and wondered why it was working so well! Also thanks for explaining the last active frame for ff3. I was wondering why certain things miss for me and I think thats why.
yeah it’s definitely the active frames, there’s no delay in these set ups. It all depends on active frames of either SZ4 (wall) and ff3 (midscreen)

Dope tech Mr immortal soul, I just labbed the wall oki and apparently if you sidestep right into the 1,2 sz 4 it'll hit the opponent when they sideroll right, I guess this shit is more cracked than I thought.

quick question 👋just started playing Tekken and I've been watching a couple of your tutorials-
was wondering, there are moments within your string punishes that you'll side step in/out prior to doing a FF3 for an extension. How come you do that, and when do you know whether to step inwards or out? Is it based on stage positioning in reference to the wall, where the opponent lands in reference to Raven, etc.
*videos have helped a ton, definitely helped me pick up Raven at a casual level very quickly, thanks for the assistance

side stepping may help with timing or realign to avoid axis issues in combos

For you ff3 oki midscreen I see you use the route that uses the qcf1,2 T! , what other route put them at the same type of distance to setup the ff3 oki if I don't use that T! filler? b2,4,2?

b1 elbow as a combo ender into a oki Mostly for endless stage no wall
What I do is when you go into soulzone I press down to teleport into crouch and then mix up with hellsweep or ws3,2 or ws1. You can also probably teleport backwards after soulzone and mix them up in backturn.
No, because b1 spikes. The only move from SZ that hits grounded is b4 that's why i showed why i prefer f23 over it. B1 is obsolete in combos imo when we've got f23 SZ. But you can do B1 white hole into full crouch for a mix if you are gonna use it

For others, if you enter a move from sz to quickly, or do not ss deeply, you will miss the short window where they wake up and they'll side roll out of it. That was my problem.

Just realized you don't use , short cut " down" for soulzone transitions , you use 3+4 😮 i was tapping down button for all soulzone transitions and sometimes game shit on me because of that , i will try to use 3+4 for certain transitions . Man command display helps a lot thanks
