You're absolutely right. I have a bad habit of rushing to finish the opponent off quickly when their health is low. I'll go for a bt mix to finish them and thin BOOM!! I get hit by a rage art. They'll mash it in situations where it doesn't even seem like its possible to get it off, and yet that stuff will work sometimes. So yes, these videos are the truth. Taking it slow when you have a life lead is absolutely the right thing to do.
As my buddies have told me, be more reactive than engaging. It really does wonders. I flew through ruler ranks using that method.
Yes absolutely, it does help. But I think being reactive means waiting... doing that TOO much in tekken 8... aggressive... lol

I'm new to Tekken(playing for about 2 months) and have been playing Eddy for about 2 weeks. I'm having a ton of fun, but this video just made me realize how I miss Raven

I don’t know how to instantly do a sweep if that makes sense. I see Raven players do it often and I’m stuck trying to get in position to do the buttons of the sweep. Any advice? I also see you do the same thing for the launcher where you ⬇️↘️➡️ to the square button and instantly are able to continue onto the combo.
you can’t instantly sweep, Raven is still one of the characters that needs to be in full crouch for some time before he can sweep, they made most other full crouch lows doable instantly and left Raven’s lol
Thanks. It just looks like an instant sweep when I mirror match but I guess people just put in the buttons very fast. Thanks for the help

Ah thank you for this. I understood a lot of what you said. I can easily be patient in sf because I know the game but I feel like my ignorance in tekken causes me to rush it.
