They just don't make coffee makers like they used to. They used to be really high quality and last for years. Now it seems like mine are always going out within the first year. I also love the separate switch for the warmer on this one. A lot of times I get burnt coffee after sitting on the burner for a while. Must be nice to be able to just turn the warmer off on this one and then flip it back on if you want to warm it up. The burner on my Hamilton Beach always runs to hot and always burns my coffee. Great video!
@@MCDreng Unless its a Keurig. I work in retail and people bring back broken ones all the time. Thanks for the info though I didnt know it was equalvalient to that.
@@amm46001 well keurig is a whole nother deal. Don't make good coffee either, always brown water. In the 70s these were the hot new way to make coffee. Weren't the default like they are now. So they were priced and built like the cool new tech they were.
I've used nothing but Hamilton Beach. My first dispenser started to not have the clock work and then buttons. I've had the Scoop Single Serve for 2 years and no problems other than just maintaining the cleaning every few months. This last Christmas I actually wanted a drip coffee maker. I had a Black & Decker one but the carafe broke and I got tired of having to get the coffee ready each time I wanted a cup so now I can make several in one sitting. It's an off-brand one for $10. When it goes or when I want to change it, I'm getting a Mr. Coffee. Only thing is not being able to shut itself off. My dad had the Mr. Coffee 4-cup BL5 for 10 years and it was great. It's too bad they are considered ''vintage'' these days.
Super cool coffee maker.
Awesome
I specifically searched for this video because I just found that I have one of these replacement pots brand new in a box. I love the flowers!
love this video but that is the most plain looking coffee cup i have ever seen

This thing was priced at the equivalent of 220 dollars nowadays. If you buy a 220 dollar coffee machine it will last long like these ones did. :)
