    Thank you! That was a lovely little, straight forward demo. I LOVE granulation and Ultramarine is one of my favourites for that reason, and in the cloud parts of the painting it looks amazing but I think I would use a non-granulating blue for the sky for a bit more intensity. I live in Australia so the skies are pretty damn intense 😆. Going down to the studio right now to try this method out but am going to use Ultramarine and Burnt Sienna (also my staple for good greys) but then the Cerulean for the blue. Anyhoo, thanks again.     That’s outstanding! I struggle with skies and this looks like a brilliant way to make them interesting.
    I own a spray bottle but it’s the fine mist type, I can’t see the type you are using anywhere. I guess one with an adjustable nozzle might give heavier droplets? 🤔

      Hello, this is Steve Krueger. The artist ultramarine blue will granulate like that if you don’t want granulation, try cerulean blue. Have fun painting.
