- Want To know what to sell on eBay? in this video i go over my top selling products that you should be looking for. IF youre wanting to increase profits and sales on ebay this is the video for you. the hardest part about selling on ebay is finding the items that sell quick. this has one of the fastest sell throughs on ebay so keep a look out!
Glory to God, you are a gifted teacher! I'm an elderly reseller. Started in 2015 and only 500 sales so far. I want to pick up speed in 2023. You have been a blessing. I think that "How To" selling videos are one of the Lord's provisions for us. God bless you! (Grandma Bunny in Phoenix) ❤
Thank you so much grandma bunny. Never say “only” again 500 sales regardless of time frame is amazing keep it up!❤️
Me too man. I love digital cameras. I buy em cheap and sell em for great profit
Just had an insane thrifting day at savers... $700 Seiko clock for $2
My new go to eBay UA-camr. Straight to the point and well explained!
When i am st thriftstore, i put on my car a bunch of cool things fast like if i know what i am doing, then go to a corner, and look every item, and just take the hot items, i know people looknat me, and somwtimes get uncomfortable near me, i really dont care, i am a newby and i sell 3 items a day doing this
Great video as always man. I’m picking up a canon power shot today for $8 hehe. I’m learning a lot from your videos and taking notes and putting it into practice. Appreciate your help very much.
Thank you for the tip on the SD card reader error. I had never heard of that before. I haven't come across the error yet but definitely would have just thought it didn't work if I saw that pop up. Great tip to know! Also, some of my best finds have been when I was doubting and decided to look it up. Now, I look up a lot as I am out sourcing. Another great time I heard you say a while ago. Thank you!
Great info!! Thanks for all the hard work you do putting these videos out there.
Hey Jride,
I was wondering, could possibly do a video on how full time resellers approach doing annual taxes? Thank you, I appreciate your content!
Where do you find so many digital cameras?
Thanks for doing the live stream, and for answering my questions. I usually don't watch many resellers on YT, but I have a few I like. Your channel is my newest one. I will have to binge watch the last couple months of your vids. I am only part time on eBay, but need to step it up a lot. I'll have to do more smart sourcing for certain items. Currently my best seller is eclipse glasses, new. I list them in lots of 10 or 20, but will now also do a pack of two and use the eBay standard envelope, which I have not used before.
Great detail advice. 😊
Another awesome video! Quick question for you. Why do you promote your listings at 2.6%? Do you promote right away or wait until its on for awhile?
Excellent advice, and the generic batteries are a great idea. Do you just include them in the camera as part of the purchase when it sells?
Nope. Camera only sells great
Tremendous content. Thank you for sharing.
Hi, Great video, but when you put a new battery in the camera what do you do if the camera did come with a charger?
Can you do a video on camera repair? Taking apart to clean and also troubleshooting. Thabks
This was so helpful! Question, how did you learn how to take a camera apart with that toolkit you showed in the video? What is the name of that toolkit and can we get it on Amazon? You continue to be the BEST source for all things eBay reselling!
Yeah if you want to click on my link on my channel page and then search it I’ll get a tiny little kick back lol. Just search electronics repair tool kit
@@JrideFlips just did that and I was just routed to a very short video (less than one minute) about VCRs. I'm sure I'm doing it wrong but I paged up, clicked on your channel, paged over to the search icon and put in electronics repair kit. ???
Thank you! This video has really helped! Imma be on the look out now 👀
Glad it was helpful! Go find them!
👏 thank you, question…. I have a few cyber shots and was debating buying the charger and using the batteries I have or is it better to just buy a couple off brand batteries?
Solid video. I almost never find cameras for some reason...
Great info on testing! Thanks!
Thank you!
Man you’re totally awesome. Love your content.
Can you do a video on how to handle shipping without packaging everything up and weighing it when you are making your listing. I don't have a lot of storage space and it would take up a lot less space if things weren't already in boxes and envelopes ready to ship
These small cameras will fit in a 6x4x4 box (with padding). I've weighed all of my standard box sizes, and the packaging--usually adds about 5 oz to the weight for small items. So, my wife takes the pics of the items, and each set contains a few pics with a ruler and a pic of the item on the scale so I know its weight. Then, when I list, I add the pics (except for the weight one) to the listing, look at the measurements, and add those into the Shipping section of eBay along with the weight PLUS the 5 oz of box and padding, and boom, done. After you do a few hundred listings and ship a few hundred items, you'll get to know what something will weigh after a while. Plus, If its 1t 16oz or under, ounces count (example, it's cheaper to send a 12oz item than a 15oz item). If it is over a pound, simply round up to the next pound (the price is the same--something that weighs 1 pound and 2 oz and something that weighs 2 pounds, if they have the same size measurements, costs the same to shpi. So round 1 pound 2 oz up to 2 pounds each and every time, then you're covered with the extra rounding up of weight).
Thank you!!! I love the picture with the scale idea and I will definitely be implementing it.
PEOPLE, you have to look things up. I think that’s why a lot of you have death piles of junk that nobody wants.
I go to the bins and I will fill my cart up with hard goods(I don’t sell cloths) I “think” are valuable.
Then I sit there and look up everything I put in my cart, usually I’ll put back 60-70% of the items for various reasons. Not enough profit, broken, etc…
Depending on how many items are in my cart it will take me 45 mins to look up everything. You don’t bring home 🚮 when you look up your items, which means you won’t have trash in your store.
Very well said
What about all the different chargers for the batteries?
You are so encouraging
Do u send the battery with the camera
Awesome video just dug under my bed and dug out my Pink Canon Cybershot I have the battery charger and a used hard and soft case .. what do you suggest I list the camera/battery pack/2 used cases for - has a 2GB Lexar Memory Chip in it 😮
I suggest to sell them for what the going rate on eBay is
I bot a camera at a yard sale for $1. It has the battery and a memory card but the battery is dead. I have no way to charge the battery to test the camera. What do you do with all those batteries if you cannot charge them?
Watching you ALMOST has me convinced to get on eBay! So intimidated by that platform
Don’t let intimidation keep you from making $1000s a month
Just start with something you already own and know a lot about. Something small and easy to ship would probably be a good place to start. Research what it is selling for and take a few pictures and list it! After the first CHA-CHING you will be hooked and like Jride said making an extra $1000 per month or whatever your goal is.
@@DonPepilio thanks so much! I sell part time on Poshmark, primarily clothing. eBay seems the obvious choice! I make decent profit, but not like young Jake!
I can't find cheap batteries. Is it just that batteries have gone up considerably ($7-$10 at a minimum, and sometimes shipping) since this video, or am I doing something wrong? I'm assuming all of these batteries are rechargeable also, so I guess a charger would work if I have a battery with the camera. I bought a Canon Powershot G3 and a Nikon Coolpix 4800, but now I don't know what to do with them!
Do you buy your batteries directly from china?? Thanks for all your helpful information
I buy them off eBay
Are the batteries you buy fully charged when you receive them?
No but a universal charger cost $8
@@JrideFlips and it holds all different sorts/styles of batteries? -or just a "universal" charger that is brand specific?
Whelp there goes my main sourcing item. Sigh.
Haha this is talked about across many many channels this is nothing new
MAKE I video about your photography set up!
What screw driver kit is that?? Lol
Thank You.
It's funny that even with the controversy around gender reveals or gender. In general, girls still want pink. It's not even an age thing. I'm almost 70 and I still get pulled over toward the pink stuff.
Do you have any idea what people are buying them?
Thanks man, I’m not charging enough for my cameras.
Get that money Rick!
nice
im having issues when posting on ebay
my photos upload in low low resolution
is their an easy fix?
Haven’t heard that one yet, I’d call eBay
Are you compressing the image down? Do you use phone to take pics?
@@nathanmoore7120 i take the photos with my phone and upload them directly to thr post
Do you have any idea why this is a hot item? With everyone having superior cameras on their cell phone, I am curious why these sell like hotcakes.
Better informed because of jride - Jake Rider ❤
Great video, Jake. I have some questions. I'll hit you up on Facebook or Instagram.
Sounds good Shane
Why do people buy broken cameras
To fix them and sell them
Digital cameras and small electronics!!!
I list canras all the time and they just sit
I’m sure they’d sell quicker under “camera”
Lol
use a pencil eraser to clean the terminals
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🐐
Just picked up four camera today bc of watching your channel. I used google lens to get an idea of what they were “listed” as. I am too impatient to look up the solds 🫤. Yes, I know I need to learn to do that in the store before I waste my money. But from watching vids, I’m pretty sure I’ll make at least a few dollars profit.
Thank You
