An Army Basic trainee left his training area with a rifle and escaped Fort Jackson where he then hijacked a school bus transporting 18 children. It doesn't end there. He demands the bus driver take him out of town, in an effort to get back home to New Jersey. Angry Drill SGT doesn't hold back his feelings on this future soldier went AWOL. UCMJ will take care of him.

Out of all the AWOLs that I have ever heard about, this is the top most ridiculous case of it.
Facts
I had one guy in my BCT cycle leave the base, fly back home, and get turned in by his mom. He came back and was always with the drill sergeant. This was in summer of 2017.
Another guy literally walked off base in the middle of the night to go to McDonald's.
This all being in Fort Jackson.
My friend was on shore leave in Hawaii and was supposed to be heading back out in the morning. Someone set a fire on the ship, to delay departure because he wanted to make a date with a girl he met. Thats when he decided to get out of the Navy.

I’m amazed Angry Cops doesn’t have a stroke.
i think it's because he screams just enough to get the point across but not so hard he's risking aneurysm.
I’m surprised any drill sergeant hasn’t had a stroke from all the yelling they do
soon...
Or a heart attack 😂
It’s a switch.
The amount of rage AC exhibits in this video makes me happy.
I love the gradual progression of A.C.'s face getting redder and redder as the video goes on and starts sweating like a mother

Every drill sergeant in that company should say these words. "We were not told what we should do if a trainee jumps the fence with a rifle and highjacks a bus, because it wasn't covered in the safety briefing." Crisis averted.
I did a DoD contract job, van driver with MEPS applicants. I had to take 1 group to Jacksonville FL, MEPS office, summer 2006. I had a wierdo 🤡 say: screw this & 🐇 off. When in the military make sure your career is being made into a Sabaton song not in an angry cops video
exactly

When I was in basic in 1986 we had a couple guys in the platoon who lost their minds and could no longer function. They were removed from the barracks, we thought they were sent home. In our last week of training, we see those guys with another platoon. Turns out they just 'fixed' them and recycled them. Once they had you, you weren't going home. I wonder if they still do that.

My drill would scream "HEY YOU! YOU!! COME HERE YOU! WHAT ARE YOU DOING! DROP RIGHT NOW!" as his voice his cracked and torn - wheezing every sentence with the intent to maim or kill. He never had his voice the whole 9 weeks I was Ft. Lost in the woods.
Who else watched this twice with tears of laughter in their eyes?
Time to rewatch lol
Probably not the kids when they come to UA-cam and see this reinvigorate their newfound trauma.
I had the volume up all the way... my wife is listening to me laughing uncontrollably in the bathroom and my kids are scared to come anywhere near me now. Friggin love this one!! You can’t make this shit up!!

If a recruit drops out or admits something to something he/she didn't admit to the recruiter that gets them DQed just to get out the recruiter gets in trouble idk what happens but it doesn't sound pleasant
This happened while i was on my 3rd week of basic there. Our Drill Srgt was like, “trainees if you really don’t want to be here dont rob a school bus full of kids, NO MATTER WHAT”. We had no clue what he was talking about until 1st Srgt told us everything that day LMAO.
He pointed out the biggest problem, when I went through basic, they beat the hell outa us, and reminded us “if this is too much for you, you can always quit”.
They also gave us the ability to self motivate by telling us how long we had left. “3 weeks, 2 days, and a wake up and you’ll be outa here” which they stopped after the first couple weeks, because they knew we were crossing off the proverbial calendar.
They gave us the discipline to keep pushing through bad situations.
My only regret is having a poor memory, so I can’t remember all the PT exercises we did.
You can quit. They’ll just threaten you with legal action until you actually quit and they do nothing or convince you to recycle.
Come to find out we had a guy "join" to avoid prison (Thanks Uncle Sam), in the War Room 1st day of OSUT 12-B the DS gives us our "we are going to kill the weak speech" and says "Who doesn't want to be hear?" .
Guy raised his hand, this asshat is sitting in the back on one side, the Drill parted those folding chairs like Moses, pvts and all and about dragged his ass out of the War Room.
He kept that clown the entire Combat Engineer OSUT training (longest OSUT in any branch) and kicked him 2 days before family showing up for graduation, Article 15'ed him so he didn't get any money each month as well.
