Well... In it's defence, I've only ever heard the podcast. Had no idea he was this funny. Had no idea there's a new special on Netflix (I'm a rather casual listener).
But... Now I'm going to go watch that special.
well, yeah. Comedy Central likes to do this thing where they act like they're the only name in comedy, so to casual fans, it makes them look like they're the only place they need to look for new stand-up specials, but they're not. Netflix gets all the great new specials nowadays. Rogan actually kinda talks shit about CC sometimes, Im sure this is one of the only things he's ever released through comedy central (at least his only special thru CC). Which is why it makes me even more confused that they'd just post six jokes from a 4 year old special of his when his brand new special literally came out on netflix the day after this was posted.

If you're gonna judge his whole stand up comedy by this video.. I feel sorry for you. Check out his specials on Netflix if you really want to see how he works. "Triggered" and "strange times" are his too recent ones. Hope you are able to enjoy those more. Of course comedy is subjective and nobody should tell you that you're wrong for not finding it funny. But I'm telling you, his Netflix specials are more representative of his awesome style of comedy. Hope that helps.

@@Heavywall70 If I could I would.. I started smoking at 13 and from 14 to 31 I smoked everyday. In 2009 the economy dipped, a bunch of people got laid off, except me. But one day I was out of weed and my boss said some dumb shit like usual, except this time I accidentally reenacted an episode from the chappelle show "when keeping it real goes wrong" so he fired me.
Fast forward 5 months and my bank account was empty, i lost everything, and i still didn't receive a single unemployment check. I had to make a decision: limit the amount of jobs I could get with dirty piss, or quit smoking and pass a drug test. So I quit..
I ended up getting a job offer working for the DOT. Unfortunately the DOT is federally mandated. Random tests, and even if my state made weed legal, I still couldn't smoke because it's federally illegal.
I consider quitting my job everyday, and I've been here 4 years, haven't smoked in 4yrs.. I also legit think about suicide, everyday, for the last 4yrs.. lol (😔).. I'd love to tell you some stories but, they lack the soul encompassing quality that they once got from weed.... And this entire post proves I dont smoke, jesus christ, i typed a short novel in a youtube comment section

I think he got less funny. I was just watching his most recent Netflix special. I had to quit when I realized that a lot of the jokes had a certain degree of ugliness and I was starting to hate him.
