This comment from Comedy Central is what makes me cringe.
This video is a very fine example, no need to click the link. Man, Jim's set just draaaaged.
idk what your talking about this is one of my favorites tbh
"Do you understand the predicament that you are in?"
"Hehe no"
I instantly thought of Homer Simpson when he said that line lol
I'm glad your confident, you got two minutes to tell me your story, and you gotta look each one of my Marshall's in the eyes, while your telling it. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I fully expected him to go, "No...I SIXTEEN!" lol

Really Funny story about this bit; A few years back, I saw Jim preform this bit live at a venue on Long Island, as he was talking about "Scott from toys", a voice shouted from the audience "I AM SCOTTY FROM TOYS", so Jim calls the guy to the front, verifies that it was Scott from toys and proceeds to finish the bit with Scott sitting next to him on the stage!!!
Edit #1 Jim had somebody pour the guy a glass of beer while he sat on the stage as the story was recounted! For those wondering, the venue was the Paramount in Huntington NY
I’m the 69th like
Jim Breuer is definitely a cool dude.
he's a great PREFORMER
Dude that's awesome
Do u know if that episode is on the youtubes?
I worked at Sears in the early 90's.
We weren't allowed to use the Phone.
Now I know why.
Thanks, Jim.

FBI: "Do you understand....the predicament...you are in?"
Jim: "He he. NO."
Hilarious! In the mid 80's I, was a teenager and worked at a Sears store in Rhode Island. Jim was right, the employees ALL were either teenagers, retirees, divorcees or people who had made some poor choices in life...We used to crank call each other all of the time. I thought it was just our store. Didn't realize that this was going on at ALL of the Sears stores!
Was it the sears in Middletown?? I remember that store before it closed down
Long live painttt
@@devinallen4708 No. It was the Providence store on North Main Street.

Jim isn’t exactly underrated, but his delivery of this puts him in the highest echelon of comedic storytelling. That was one of the best 15 minutes I’ve ever spent on UA-cam.

Maybe in mainstream culture, but in the comedy culture he is for sure respected. Especially by fellow comedians.

Jim Breuer is a comedy legend. It's hard to get much funnier than that.
The genius of Breuer is that he can take his real life experiences and what was happening at the time to craft these stories. He is a genius story teller.
What's great about your observation is Breuer mentioned on the Rogan show that Breuer's father was a master storyteller and would enthrall people at the bar etc.
- it's in his blood!
Gawddamn, Jim Breuer can do some impressions. His impressions of Dave Chappel and Joe Pesci are right on the fucking spot.

Jim will go down in history as being one of the nicest funniest persons who has ever lived... no swearing too! Class act...
Haha no swearing, that's what you took away from this?
@@eagillum The 'no swearing' part is one of the hardest to achieve when you're a comedian that can hang with all the other top comedians...listen to all the legends of the game, the vast majority swear like sailors because swearing is funny and helps accentuate a story...try telling a story without swearing and get the same belly laughs, it's borderline impossible unless you're a master storyteller.
