CME Sessions: North By North | Live at Chicago Music Exchange

After a brief stop back home this January for a show at the Empty Bottle, Chicago-based North By North is picking up where they left off on the life adventure they call “the never-ending tour,” during which they’ve shared stages with the likes of Eagles of Death Metal, Tegan and Sara, and Sheer Mag, among others! But, before they take their textured blend of lo-fi, pop-infused garage rock all across North America in 2024, the crunch-rock duo stopped into Chicago Music Exchange to play a few tunes! I have hankering for one of those Rivolta guitars as well. Where was the bass coming from though?

I have the same guitar as in this video, only with the tremolo. It’s a fantastic guitar, sounds and plays great. Great design and a nice change from the typical body shapes from the mega brands. Would certainly recommend it.

I have a Rivolta Combinata in black with soapbar Powertron pickups. Awesome guitar. Looks like the pickups on his were swapped, too.
