I like the representation of Under Control and Automatic Stop here, two of my favorites as well. That bottom eighth was loaded with Reptillia, Under Control, Modern Age, and Take It or Leave It though, and Modern Age actually woulda ran the whole bracket for me.

Impressions was a breath of fresh air and had some incredible catchy tunes on it. Some of their best stuff easily.

This just makes me realise how much I love almost ALL of their songs. For me, it's more a list of songs I instantly liked, vs slow burners, and still to this day, I develop a 'new fave' track. And this is why I love The Strokes.

Modern girls is much better than he made it out to be, the raspy almost radio quality of both Julian an Regina’s voices makes everything come together so well. Call it fate, call it karma is one of my favorite songs off the album and I really admire the strokes for taking such a risk with the new sound.
