Not only is he really late but this was all put on by rolling stone so I don’t think it’s so much that he’s interested in everyone of the topics they talked about I think it’s more like he does it for appearance purposes. These musicians and actors/ celebs want you to think they’re on your side but I don’t see any sort of change coming from that side of the spectrum.

So glad Julian is informed..when he's being interviewed about his music he's uncomfortable and shy...he is very comfortable here discussing things he's very passionate about...not that he's not passionate about his music...never seen him so relaxed..a lovely great interview

Very important conversations to have. I wish this was a series. Make it so. The juxtaposition of artist and “intellectual thinker” lends itself to the modern day generational divides. It’s important for our creative and academic minds to use their spotlight to highlight the often ignored sides of the human condition.

Great interview, Giroux seems cool. If you would have told me he was The Ramones first drummer in 1975 or something I would have to stop for a second and think about it. He has that look you know? I wonder if he's from Queens.

More stuff like this please in the music world. This is what it's all about. Media has tried to separate music and politics as much as possible. Well done Rolling Stone keep up content like this please, real content about what matters and the environment where music grows out from.

For the last maybe 8 years or so I’ve been wondering, where the fuck are the musicians? Why isn’t anybody writing songs about this shit. Isn’t anybody else pissed off? I was a teen in the 80s. My hero’s were rock stars. I loved the 60s generation tried to make change. Above anything else I’m impressed that one of the leaders of one of my favorite bands would put info out like this. It makes people think…it starts change. Too many folks in the music industry afraid to stand up for anything, they are worried about profit margins and loosing base.
You are a good dude and ya got some balls Julian Casablancas! Rock on
