Squid guy is a mindflayer.

I would classify some of these as: wereboar (pig-head guy), mindflayer (squid-head guy), and rakshasa (cat person, notice backwards hands).

And when it comes to speed painting. The best technique I know is apply the basecoats and then add some wash/ink and voila.
