Guys we are back with Marvel Mondays!!! Let’s gooooooo!!!!! If you follow also the Tv series of Marvel..it is also a canon...in the MCU movies Agents of Shield, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Agent Carter. Wanda Vision..
My favorite part in this entire film is Peter and Happy's heart to heart. Everyone was expecting so much out of Peter, but Happy was able to free him from Tony's shadow. Their conversation also further confirmed that reviving Peter was the main reason why Tony agreed to the time heist. He didn't have to become the next Iron Man, rather just focus on building his own legacy as Spider-Man.
That's definitely my favorite scene in this one, and I like a lot of it. The amount of pressure on this kid is way more than a high school kid should have. And I like that Peter's flaw is that he's just too naive and isn't a great judge of character (also, shockingly bad at long-term planning), too willing to look at himself the way other people want him to see himself, and he has to beat that here--it's a really good look at the theme.
my favorite thing about your reactions is that you always show almost the whole movie. most channels only show 20-30 minutes of the movie reactions but you show 1-1 1/2 hours of the movie and i love that i get a large reaction!!
It's actually hard to put the whole movie on UA-cam cause of copyright and stuff Also some channels put full reaction on their website or petrian so people in UA-cam go and pay for the full reaction
That's because channels like this don't get noticed for a while. Normally what happens with channels that show this much of the movie is they get multiple strikes in a single day from older videos and their channels get deleted.
@@kyroking9934 he's a known spider-man villain, not only in comics but the animated series.Ngl at first i thought maybe he would be good but he's always bad lmao. So ya
On rewatch, you'll notice Talos and his wife make little slips all throughout the movie. When he introduced Beck to Peter, he says " he's from Earth, just not your Earth". Fury would have said "our Earth". He also gets upset and tells Peter "don't invoke her name" when Peter mentions Captain Marvel, because she is basically the savior of his people. As you mentioned, his personality is just a little off, and "Maria" is a little too glib with him. I don't remember for sure, but I think she calls him Nick a few times, and we know the real man expects everyone to call him Fury.
The first time I saw this movie, I was so annoyed at the way they'd written Fury, almost as a caricature of himself at times. As was mentioned at the end of this reaction. Then it turns out that he's not really Nick Fury and I felt bamboozled LOL but at least it made sense.
The BFP initials on his suitcase were for Uncle Ben Franklin Parker 🥲 Edit: Oh also, he couldn’t dodge the banana for multiple reasons! It wasn’t a real danger to him so the Spidey Sense didn’t go off, it was thrown by someone he trusted and that sometimes effects the Spidey Sense, and he was stressed as hell so even if it did normally go off for bananas it might have been a little wonky! I hope this information is sufficiently explanatory! 😊
@@MamadNobari Depends on how hard you went in to slap him I suppose. A normal human’s punch still sets it off so if you went for a **really** hard slap, it might still do it! 😅
There s something else you didnt see. In CA: Civil war, when Tony announces Beck s invention as BARF, the audience didnt laugh at all. It just goes to show how mentally unstable Quentin Beck really is. Tony probably also saw Beck had everything he hated about himself, so no wonder he fired him.
plot twist: Jake is actually a supervillain exacting his revenge on Marvel Studios bc Tobey never got recast for his herniated back. Meaning Jake never got the lead role
28:52 if you look closely, you can see that MJ was the only person on the bus not to fall for Peter’s ”Baby Mountain Goats” thing, she was staring at him the whole time he leapt through the roof of the bus.
I love how Marvel hides things in the movie that show Mysterio and his team have been doing their research on Peter and his friends. You can see Mysterio in a ball cap and sunglasses behind Peter when MJ had all the birds on her and the Guterman shortly after when Peter and MJ walk around on the boardwalk. Love the little Easter eggs
I remember the audience in the theatre erupted the second 'Triple J' showed up on screen in the end credits. It was like I was at a sporting event. Such a fun experience!
The first time I watched this movie the issue I had through the whole thing was Fury. I was so confused by him immediately trusting Beck, and even him being totally okay to send Peter in on his own, it just felt off much like you guys were pointing out the Fury seemed less well... Fury-like. Which is why the end credit is so fantastic! It really blew my mind
You can actually predict that Fury and Maria were not real in the whole movie. Whenever Maria was addressing Fury, she was calling him "Nick" and Fury already told us in 'Captain Marvel' that everybody calls him only Fury
I like how Mysterio mentions that Earth 833 was destroyed and that’s also the case in the comics. Earth 833 was destroyed, also I like how Flash says that a guy named Morris Bench got Hydro Powers and that’s the actual Hydro Man from the comics. You miss a lot of things when you only watch a movie once
LOVED your reaction! I haven't stopped appreciating Monica giving her time to sit through 2+hours long movies. Both of you keep up the good work. What to many younger people was a spectacular super hero movie to me was an amazing trip down my childhood memory lane. The fan service paid to the classic Mysterio & Spider-man fights from the comics and the classic 60's cartoons was so satisfying for us old farts.
I just love the new phase of MCU. Illusions, Magic, Multiverse. My most favorite superheroes are Batman & Cap, but also after them I love Wanda & Strange and their level. Now I wanna see what those powers can do. I'm excited.
Fun fact: at 1:10:04 is the old Stark Tower building (from the battle of New York) which clearly got bought by another company and has had some renovations it seems...Wonder who bought it? Hammer Tech maybe lol Also at 1:15:30 you see J. Jonah Jameson, who was a ongoing actor in one of the other spider man series (i forget which one, or maybe it is both) who is portrayed by J.K Simmons
One fan theory I like is that the old Stark Tower building might have been turned into the Baxter Building for introducing the Fantastic Four. I really hope this is the case.
I loved this one more than the first great story & Mysterio was craaaazy awesome & having him and his team all worked for Tony previously was a twist I didn’t see coming
Ngl, watching this in the cinema was so stressful for me and the second half was so infuriating after we found out about Mysterio's true nature! I really can't wait to see more reactions from you guys and I'm soo excited for your reactions to the upcoming films and TV series!! Cheersss~~ ^^
See, I know Mysterio, I’ve seen him in multiple other Spider-Man related medias, but even so, they kind of half-got me with him being good in this, too. First, I don’t know the comics themselves very well at all, but I’ve never heard of him originally starting out pretending to be good, that was new to me. And second, with them saying he was from another universe, I thought they genuinely were taking another direction with this version of the character (wouldn’t be the first time the MCU has done that). There’s also the fact that they used the proper Earth name when he said 616, so that lent credence to what he was saying All that, plus Jake’s acting and how _wonderfully_ well written he was, had me almost completely convinced he was good in this version, and certainly hoping he was. ……rrrrrriiight up until the instant Peter had the idea to give him Edith. In that moment, I instantly knew, and I started whispering “Oh, no, no no no, you stupid son of a bitch.” But it was a great way for them to do this, because even people who knew Mysterio from other material, we had to question, just a little bit…maybe they were doing this one differently. They could very easily have done that, had him be from a different Earth, and hell, maybe one day he could have even battled what would have been our Earth’s Quentin Beck. And that all would have been a very valid way to do this. Also, it’s funny, Edith shouldn’t really have responded to Peter at the end when he got her back. In the bar, he said “Transfer control to Quentin Beck. Not add him as an authorized user, not copy control to him, _transfer._ I thought Pete was gonna have to somehow force Beck to transfer control back, but nope, they glossed right over that. Computers are literal, by their nature. There’s no way she should have worked for him. But HISHE made a great joke about that in their video on this movie, and that made me happy.
@@TechnoArpan Agreed, I feel like Tony would have programmed some sort of fail-safe so that Peter could take back control if needed, even if Peter himself directed otherwise.
Been looking forward to this one. 😊 I binge watched all of your MCU reactions, and Rico's solo reactions for "The Hunger Games" series, over the weekend to prepare for this one. Really looking forward to watching your reactions for the MCU Disney+ shows. All of them are really good. Looking forward to your next reaction. 😊
I've already watched this movie twice (NWH twice, too), but that end credit still have gave me emotions, like, my stomach dropped. So excited for the next reactions, especially No Way Home (it's my favorite movie now.
I always love watching Far from Home reactions bc the comicbook people knew Mysterio was fooling every one reactioners not knowing the comics fall for it.
BFP on that case was reference to his Uncle Ben (Benjamin Franklin Parker if im not mistaking) They skip the spider man origin in the MCU but one of the most crucial points of Peter's becoming hero is murder of uncle Ben.
Fun fact: the hotel room scene with Peter and Fury were filmed separately - they weren't in the room together. And that crossbow-gun Fury is holding was actually just a black stick with red tape on it.
Ohh that end credit... can't wait for you to watch Spiderman No Way Home. Imagine waiting for more than 2 years to see what happens next. And about the ending, it just shows that Shield, or whatever this is, is situated in space now cuz if you think about it...... threats aren't really from earth anymore but rather from outer space threats like Thanos and all. So Nick Fury will now defend earth with their base in space now. That's what the ending is trying to show.
We nearly lost NWH remember. After the disagreement with Sony and Disney everything would have been over. After a brilliant mid credit scene we were so close in never seeing the most hyped sequel ever. Thank God NWH happened ♥️♥️🔥🔥
17:07 I never noticed that Hydro-Man was mentioned in the movie. Imagine he makes a physical appearance some time in the future, that would be awesome.
BFP stands for Benjamin Franklin Parker - Peter's uncle and crucial character for his origin in comics but also older films. He is the one that uses the phrase "with the great power comes great responsibility".
The initials on his suitcase stand for Benjamin Franklin Parker. Peter's uncle who was killed who inspired him to be a hero. Since the MCU Spidey movies skipped the origin we don't see him but there are easter eggs about him in the first two.
You guys are just such a great reaction channel, your relationship is awesome to watch through film, overall y'all are fantastic, keep up the great work and don't change a thing.
21:07 It’s a saying that pretty much means with great power comes great responsibility. When you’re a king, it’s your responsibility to protect and guide the kingdom.
I think at this point you guys need to watch the original Spider-Man trilogy with Tobey McGuire, the 2 Amazing Spider-Man films with Andrew Garfield, and the 2 Venom films with Tom Hardy....for no reason except to understand the characters better
Every spiderman movie just gets better and better. I really didn't think they would be able to top this one but the NEXT one! Oh i can't wait for you guys to react to the next one
Far From Home and Captain Marvel both play better on a rewatch (especially chronologically), once you know what the twist is. FFH is always a lot of fun for comic fans to watch reactions to. Those of us who know Mysterio from the comics were just waiting for the illusions to come down, so watching people with no idea of who he is really is a great time.
Honestly! I knew Mysterio was a fake, but I wasn't sure how Marvel Studios would spin it. Would he be fake but the monsters real? Would he be real but the monsters fake? Was he real and the monsters real but once they won he faked more monsters? Would he turn now or later? I really like how even though we knew his story, Marvel Studios was able to give us that sense of not knowing when he would reveal himself, and it's always fun to see others' reactions to it. Crazy to think its already been a few years since this movie came out. Time is flying.
At the end with nick fury he was at S.W.O.R.D. basically the counterpart of S.H.I.E.L.D. Where shield was more earthly threats but sword is more outer space cosmic stuff .
Benjamin Franklin Parker. That's his uncle. You know, the dude who died in front of Peter in all previous SM movies, and assumingly in the MCU one as well (though Peter was 16/17 in the other ones. In the MCU, he would have been 14 or younger, considering Homecoming's implications, probably 13/14, since it seemed to have happened recently.)
A lot of people don’t like this movie but this my third favorite Spider-Man movie and Mysterio is a Spider-Man villain who uses illusions so the world can see him as a hero
pause at the EXACT frame of 12:45 and you actually see Beck on the phone in the green hawaiian shirt in the background spying on Peter meaning that it was his plan all along to bring the Elementals to where peter was knowing he had the Edith Glasses
43:46 That's the moment people become disappointed that the multiverse isn't real. Except I think people truly have forgotten that protecting the multiverse is what the Masters of the Mystic Arts are about. Ancient One had a fancy magic show-and-tell explaining how the multiverse works in Endgame. BTW Have these guys watched the correct Hulk movie yet? That often neglected MCU film really starts to pay off in Phase Four
ik you guys probably get copy righted for these reactions bc you show a lot of the movie but i respect you guys for it, so keep it up. Its entertaining asf. Btw Spider-Man No Way Home is the next one so if you think this movie was crazy than just wait
I love how this film is so into the concept of illusions that the movie itself is promoted as a "European trip" movie when really it's this crazy experience where you don't know what's real or not.
When you start on the TV series, please include at least the first season of "Daredevil" before you watch the next Spider-Man film. It will make the experience more enjoyable.
1:16:02 - Yes. he did and its good - we got "Spider-man no way home" from that 😄 keep watching Phase IV, start with WandaVision (because Doc Strange 2 is a month away)
The Actor who interprete Happy is Jon Favreau a director of some spider man movies an producer and director of the mandalorian and another big movies. and! Iron Man too.
Fun fact: none of the previous Spider-Men movies referred to the Peter Tingle as "Spider-Sense". Only two different people said that word in the OG trilogy, but never by that Peter himself
When I tell you I probably nearly choked on my gasp when Peter's identity was revealed 😂😱 loved that cliffhanger. Can't wait to see your reaction to Spiderman No Way Home. Could I just suggest, I think it's in your best interest to catch up on the original and Amazing Spiderman movies before No Way Home.
Here's how we can figure out since when was Talos simulating Fury: Remember how in Captain Marvel Fury says that if a toast is cut diagonally, he won't eat it? In Age of Ultron we see him eating a cut toast.
Jake Gyllenhaal was truly an inspired choice to play Mysterio. For those of us who read some comics, or had some prior knowledge of Mysterio, we always knew watching this movie that he was going to be the villain... but if you come to the Marvel universe through the MCU that guy really *sells* the "good guy" vibe not only to Peter, but also for the audience.
56:43 I like to think at that moment, Tony was in Heaven going "...Hey, God? I know I'm dead, and I respect your rules and all, but can I just rise up for like a second? Just long enough to smack him up the side of the head? C'mon, he's supposed be like my living legacy, and he called AC/DC Led Zeppelin."
When Mysterio first appeared on screen the subtitle read [pants] and I was like, "Pants?" then I realized they didn't mean trousers. ;-) I definitely need more caffeine.
22:24 and for once it wasn't technobable ! What Peter said made some sense. Also "Universe 616" is actually the name of the main universe in the Marvel comics, not the name of the MC Universe. Little easter-egg there.

there’s some cool moments in the movie where you can see beck’s team stalking peter and his classmates, even before mysterio was shown as the villian
BFP stands for Benjamin Franklin Parker - Peter's uncle and crucial character for his origin in comics but also older films. He is the one that uses the phrase "with the great power comes great responsibility".
The Reality stone would have been real useful in this movie. Illusions vs bending reality would have been nice to see.
I'm always waiting for new videos of you guys, I love your marvel reactions!
I was so excited to watch this!!!
Love this channel it gives me so much positivity everytime i watch you guys, keep up the great work
At 28:50 when everyone turns to see the mountain goats u can see MJ stayed looking at Peter 👀. She knew who he was from that
The way y’all look at eachother when something cute between couples happen is EVERYTHING ❤❤❤
The BFP on his suitcase stands for 'Benjamin Franklin Parker' more commonly known as 'Uncle Ben'
In case you didn't fully understand that joke about Tony and acronyms, Jarvis officially stands for _just a rather very intelligent system._
But as we have seen in Agent Carter and Endgame, Howard Stark had a butler named Edwin Jarvis ;)
i love ur reactions of every movie you’ve reacted to, And u put on the scenes fully because not every youtuber do that, The first ever
21:07 It’s a saying that pretty much means with great power comes great responsibility. When you’re a king, it’s your responsibility to protect and guide the kingdom.
this movie showed the fraction of the pain that happy and peter are going through without tony
The "BFP" on the suitcase is a referrence to Peter's Uncle Ben. Benjamin Franklin Parker.
You two better have you're tissues ready for the next one : WandaVision 😰😥😭
i remember being flabbergasted just like you guys when i watched ffh with my friends back then. we left the theaters dumbfounded 😭
Wow! Wasn’t expecting a new reaction yet! Not complaining though 🙂
Can’t wait for No Way Home, my favorite MCU movie, even more than Infinity War/Endgame
At the end with nick fury he was at S.W.O.R.D. basically the counterpart of S.H.I.E.L.D. Where shield was more earthly threats but sword is more outer space cosmic stuff .
Les Zeppelin did such a great AC/DC cover in this. Sounded just like them 😂
When I saw this in the theater, Peter calling AC/DC Led Zeppelin hurt my soul a little, lol.
@@joce-in-stitches Haha, great joke that not a ton of young people would get ;)
Yay, almost forgot it was Monday today :D
Benjamin Franklin Parker. That's his uncle. You know, the dude who died in front of Peter in all previous SM movies, and assumingly in the MCU one as well (though Peter was 16/17 in the other ones. In the MCU, he would have been 14 or younger, considering Homecoming's implications, probably 13/14, since it seemed to have happened recently.)
Beck says never be ashamed of being the smartest person in the room. That is something this pair will never have to worry about! 🤣🤣🤣
A lot of people don’t like this movie but this my third favorite Spider-Man movie and Mysterio is a Spider-Man villain who uses illusions so the world can see him as a hero
That slap on Flash kills me every time 🤣🤣🤣🤣
His spider sense is when he is in danger and a banana isn't danger so his senses wouldn't go off would be the logical answer and what I would assume.
That bit at the end hilarious😹
7:50 BFP is for Ben Parker, his uncle who died
pause at the EXACT frame of 12:45 and you actually see Beck on the phone in the green hawaiian shirt in the background spying on Peter meaning that it was his plan all along to bring the Elementals to where peter was knowing he had the Edith Glasses
Monica seems like the nicest person ever😊😊
The reason Peter didn't sense the banana is because it wasn't a threat.
Love how much fun you guys had watching this😆
43:46 That's the moment people become disappointed that the multiverse isn't real.
They gotta watch Daredevil, five Spider-Man movies and possibly both Venom’s to get ready for that 😂
1:16:02 - Yes. he did
and its good - we got "Spider-man no way home" from that 😄
keep watching Phase IV, start with WandaVision (because Doc Strange 2 is a month away)
The consistency lately 🔥🔥🔥
The Actor who interprete Happy is Jon Favreau a director of some spider man movies an producer and director of the mandalorian and another big movies. and! Iron Man too.
57:03 clue Maria Hill called Fury - Nick which means she's an imposter
-caught that detail just now
hahahaha brilliant guys! yah, upped stakes fer sure eh! big ups and hope you two have a grand week, cheers and aloha :-)
Fun fact: none of the previous Spider-Men movies referred to the Peter Tingle as "Spider-Sense". Only two different people said that word in the OG trilogy, but never by that Peter himself
cant wait for your disney+ show reactions!
Missed the chance to say her favourite stone is the mind stone. 😂
The " all Europeans love Americans" is a joke btw.
28:53 the moment when MJ starts to realice that Peter is Spiderman
Mysterio illusions scene is so amazing and over the top 😎
Recommend you also watch the show Daredevil that is now on Disney plus. It’s a 10/10 show
"What's your favorite stone?" "Diamonds" lol that was good. Great show you two keep up the terrific work.
Since SHEILD is no more, now starts SWORD. Introduction to mutants, inhumans, supernatural, etc heros.
Best reaction channel on yt
24:35 the teacher harrington was in incredible hulk too as a university student
43:10 William is also the first character to make a return in over a decade.
When Mysterio first appeared on screen the subtitle read [pants] and I was like, "Pants?" then I realized they didn't mean trousers. ;-) I definitely need more caffeine.
Oh I love when the subtitles say “pants.” Cracks me up! I’m a child 😝
I completely forgot about the Even Dead, I'm the Hero part so I died when EDITH said that.
22:24 and for once it wasn't technobable ! What Peter said made some sense.
Also "Universe 616" is actually the name of the main universe in the Marvel comics, not the name of the MC Universe. Little easter-egg there.
