I'm pretty sure the spider sense works, but he didn't really trust it over his eyes until the end of the movie. Eyes are telling him there is a flaming monster coming at him even if his spider sense isn't going off, he moves outta the way. Also, they laid explosives in the areas to cause real damage and danger. So, his spider sense worked only some of the time and conflicted with what he was seeing.
@bryancarol3219 What are you on? Tobey and Andrew are both the true Spider-Man... Tom's movies are just your average MCU comedy with terrible dialogue and very poor writing.
The reason they mentioned Steve Ditko with Stan Lee, is because after Stan came up with the concept for Spider-Man, he went to Steve to come up with the design for Spider-Man. The “wings” he used when he was flying were designed by Steve.
To put into perspective how much Steve Ditko contributed, before he was involved when it was Jack Kirby working on it with Stan Lee, Spider-Man was a teenager with a mean General Ross-esque uncle, who turned into an adult superhero after meeting a mad scientist next door, in a Captain America esque outfit with a web gun. Steve Ditko told Lee this was too much like Kirby and Simon's characters The Fly and The Silver Spider, so Lee gave it to Ditko. Once Ditko got involved, you not only got the costume, the webshooters at the wrist, the web wings as you mentioned, but also: being bit by a radioactive spider, having a nicer aunt and uncle, having an uncle die due to his own arrogance, all came only after Ditko started plotting it with Lee. Who came up with what idea, none of us were there, but Ditko and the other Marvel artists of the 60s were responsible for a lot of what was done by the writers at other companies.
I like what they did with Mysterio here, He made illusions using special effects because he was an actor in the comics... This version totally makes sense on how he would do it in the 21st century. I was pleased with this version and this movie. Such a 2nd to great one... the 1st will come up soon for you guys. Great reaction. :)
Sorry SharkWayne this is not directed at you as i know movies are subjective or whatever! I love the other Spideman movies but i hated Mysterio in this, im a big Jake G the actor and Mysterio fan from the animated stuff but i just found him annoying here. I thought the sets looked so bad, was obvious it was not set in the countries they were supposed to be in, the monsters were truly awful. The student that wasnt in the blip was so damn cheesy, teachers were annoying and spidey in Europe just felt weird and not spider-man. Overall it just felt like Iron Man 4 featuring Spider man with Stark in every single aspect of this film, think its the worst MCU movie and then that ending with Fury..oh damn! Actually worse then the She Hulk show, not playing...Sorry for goin on but for me one of the worst comic book movies i have ever seen, well i mean in last 20 years...

19:32 True, very true, but the Peter tingle was offline at that moment, we could understand that when Aunt May threw the banana at him. He didn't sense it at that time.. 😅

Fun Fact: The guy that was a Restaurant Waiter, The Ticket Seller and The Wrestling Announcer in the Tobey Maguire Movies is actually Mysterio, but Spider-Man 4 didn’t happen so he didn’t become a villain
Since 1986 I have been a fan of Spider-Man. Since 1995 I have been a fan of Mysterio. This was a fantastic movie. Again no spoilers from me on Phase 4 and Phase 5 of the MCU. I loved the Eurotrip and European Vacation influence in this film. I also enjoyed the nods to old Spider-Man comics in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Lastly, I loved Mysterio's comic-accurate suit in this movie.
Been looking forward to this one. 😊 Congratulations on completing Phase 3 of the MCU! This is a great follow up to "Avengers: Endgame". Tom Holland once again does a fantastic job in this movie. Now Peter Parker is still dealing with the loss of Tony, and trying to be Spider-Man and trying to enjoy his summer vacation. The scenes with Peter and Happy on the plane talking about missing Tony, and then Happy watching Peter making his new Spider-Man suit is definitely one of my favorite parts of this movie. And of course, the blossoming romance between Peter and MJ is is beautiful. I'm not sure if this movie was before or after Tom Holland and Zendaya became a couple, but you can see their great chemistry together. Jake Gyllenhaal is fantastic as Mysterio. I did not see him as the villian coming along with Mysterio's past connection to Tony Stark. The two Skrulls that Fury and Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel befriended in the "Captain Marvel" movie. On to Phase 4 with "WandaVision". Looking forward to the next reaction. 😊
The S. Ditko mentioned in the credits is Steve Ditko...he and Jack Kirby are the other two major innovators for Marvel Comics alongside Stan Lee. Stan gets most of the credit for Marvel characters, but in reality without Ditko and Kirby, a very large percentage of the Marvel universe characters (and a lot of their best stories) wouldn't exist. It's always nice seeing people who don't know the comics watching this movie, since the plot twist actually works for them...those of us who read the comics or even just watched the Saturday morning cartoons already knew Mysterio was the bad guy, so there was no surprise to it here...but folks who didn't know obviously got a pretty good shock, and it's fun seeing that happen.
Jake Gyllenhaal was originally in the running to play Spider-Man in the early 2000s, so this was a special one for him. Looking forward to your reaction to the third and final part of the Spider-Man "Home" trilogy. It was another once in a lifetime cinema going event. Don't forget the MCU streaming shows, they add a lot to a number of the main characters using long form story telling, especially Wanda, Sam and Bucky; oh and Loki.
The building you see Spider-Man glide through at the end was the old avengers tower, remember in Spider-Man homecoming at one point happy said “tony sold avengers tower” so it got a remodelling
Before anything else, since we’re on the topic of Spider-Man, you’ll be hyped to know that Across the Spider-Verse will hit digital on Tuesday. My favorite part of this film was Happy's heart to heart with Peter. Both of them were still mourning the loss of their friend, but Happy also helped Peter come to terms that he doesn't have to become the next Iron Man. Rather, he should just continue being the best Spider-Man around. Happy also confirmed to Peter that reviving him was the main reason Tony contributed to the time heist to begin with. I know you guys already started with WandaVision, but after you wrap that up I recommend checking out Black Widow before going further. That movie is the real kickstarter to phase 4, but the pandemic delayed it and we had to watch it out of order.
Out of all the reactors seeing MCU for the first time, you guys are probably my favorites and the one I’m always looking forward to. The emotional investment and the excitement you guys display when there’s something exciting happening is top notch :) Edit: what sets you guys apart is that you actually enjoy what you see and excited to see what’s coming next unlike others who I feel like they’re just obligated to react to MCU just so they can post content on their channel. It’s like a chore to them. But not you guys. Keep this up, you guys are awesome!
one of the many reasons why I like this movie is bcz it felt like a classic Spiderman story, especially when he cared more about his friend's safety, even for Flash's safety without caring how he bullies him and call him Pen*s Parker and the fights and illusions were top tier, especially the illusions
@@STELLA_UwU yeah except it was resolved faster and reporters were after this not the police and no one was 100% they still asked him if he was spider-man
@@shaunstudios163 yeah, that’s what I meant by “kinda” but it also gave that shocking reveal effect like the movie as it also happened at an episode end as far as I remember
As a native New Yorker, the building that Spider-Man flew thru is not a real life building here in NYC. In the MCU, that was Avengers Towers after Tony sold it, there was a rumor it was gonna be the HQ for a hero team called Fantastic Four. The actually real building is called Metlife building just behind Grand Central Station.
18:29 -- every comic book fan saying "Yeah; we thought you knew." The visual effects for Mysterio were perfect. 35:39 -- one of the greatest MCU post-credit scenes ever. I just wish that Simmons could have kept the Jameson wig for this part.
The area that the plane flies over just before the final fight is either The Jurassic Coast or The White Cliffs Of Dover. Neither of them are on a perfect direct line from The Netherlands but The Jurassic Coast requires a southwards detour through Belgium and Northern France so my money is on it supposedly being Dover.
Black Widow (July 9, 2021) Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (September 3, 2021) Eternals (November 5, 2021) Spider-Man: No Way Home (December 17, 2021) Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (May 6, 2021) Thor: Love and Thunder (July 8, 2022) Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (November 11, 2022)
13:30 -Tony struggled to find a stable, long-lasting and trusting relationship before finding one with Pepper, and that took work. -Peter Quill also was a womanizer with no stability and he lost Gamora. -Thor also was another narcissist womanizer before being banished to earth, and Jane and him had issues with distance and ...stuff. -Dr. Strange is another who had an ego problem which ruined his chance with Christine. -Bruce risking going hulk smash when smashing was a problem, in addition to the dangerous gamma irradiated blood, and Natasha died. -Captain America always had difficulty with women before super-doping, as the "Couldn't find the right partner" scene, and when he found something with Carter he got ripped into the future, and it took *time-traveling* to find the love of his life again . -T'Challa's royal responsabilities and Nakia's work were in the way. -Scott Lang's wife left him with their daughter after he got arrested after promising he would leave his criminal activities behind. -It probably took a time for Vision to understand something akin to human love...
Guys as i said i swear iv been waiting for 2 months for Spider-Man: No Way Home💔 PLZ Guys after this we'll wait, cause its even like sequence to NO WAY HOME PLZZZ
My favorite YT couple is back with more MCU! I loved this movie! The relationship between Peter and MJ was so damn cute! When she gives him a kiss, it is a quick little peck like a schoolgirl kissing her boy for the first time. My heart melted! Amazing to think they are together IRL.
34:50 "Is that a real place?" No, that's Stark Tower from the first Avengers movie, which looks like it got renovated with that new breezeway. IRL, Stark Tower is not real. The MetLife Building is the actual building in that location, and it looks nothing like Stark Tower.
27:46 that's the White Cliffs of Dover. You can see the coast of France from there. They're so beautiful. I'm half British so we have visited a few times in my life.
To me the newer spider man movies with Tom Holland are like teen-romance movies. It is always the lead guy/girl who mess up things, and then they have to fix the mess they made in the end. This could be a potential spoiler about Spider man no way home too...
6:06 Well, if we compare it to a Spider-Man villain, I’d say Hydro Man. A water dude. He is even referenced in the movie by Flash when he was reading the article in this scene 7:59 (it’s not in this video though). 19:25 His Spider-sense was still developing.
Stan Lee and Steve ditko were the creators of Spiderman... Steve ditko gave his time and energy to bring this character so relatable to us and Stan Lee his last cameo was Endgame.... Sometimes I think that he went happily after seeing the success of his hard work... 2019 that was golden and sad year for Marvel fans.... We ended an whole Marvel phase and we lost the one guy who did all this

34:48 is CGI. I work in that area of NYC, its not a thing. Sorry lol Side note, I have a pic of Tom and Zendaya filming some of this scene. Took it after work!
cant wait for you to start the shows. Falcon and the winter soldier i feel you guys will really like. since its a show they can cover more touchy topics they cant do in the movies with lower children ratings.
Phase 4 is when the Disney + shows start. Watch WandaVision, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Black Widow, Loki 2, and What if?. Then Shiang-chi, Eternals, and Hawkeye. Then you have to make sure you've watched Toby McGuire's Spiderman trology and Andrew Garfields Amazing Spiderman 1 and 2. Then Spiderman No Way Home, Moon Knight. Then watch X-Men 1. Followed by Dr Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, Ms Marvel, She Hulk, Thor Love and Thunder, Werewolf by Night, Wakanda Forever and the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special.
FWIW the state of airport bathrooms is a spectrum. I worked at a book store in an airport in Calgary and the bathrooms were always clean and attended to properly, I never had any issues.
yeh what stuck out to me about this one was that Peter and MJ's relationship was the most mature relationship out of all of them (Ned and blonde girl; Happy and Aunt May) - Pater and MJ seemed to handle their relationship the best. But yeh, great movie.... loved seeing Jake Gylenhall in the MCU. (He was almost cast for Spiderman, back in the Tobey Macguire days)
The code "There was a surfboard you left behind."was referencing that Happy knows that "Fury"is really Talos(who first came to Earth as the surfer woman in "Captain Marvel".)
Awesome reaction guys! I loved this Spiderman movie it hit with all the feels straight away with the Avnegers we lost 😢and hit the ground running considering it was the movie that had tk follow Endgame i feel like we connect with Peter so much in this one because like him we miss Tony so much and off course Nat, Cap and Vision too that whole conversation on the jet is for me the best scene in the movie and we see the reflection of Tony in Peter and Happys face! And also the callback to Back in black the very first song we heard in the MCU in Iron man 😊And the awesomely cast villian Mysterio played by Jake Gyllenhall! Phase 4 here we come!
13:30 Have we been watching the same movies? Almost all of the top heros have girl problems; Tony and Pepper, Thor and Jane, Steve and Peggy, Bruce and Betty than Natasha, Clint and Laura seem to have it under control.

WandaVision series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series Loki series Black Widow What If? series Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings Eternals Hawkeye series Spider-Man: No Way Home!
In case you were wondering why Peter scenes turned off. It was because the spider scene was traumatized after the blipp. People didn't see it coming but Peter scenes turn off letting him know his in danger. Therefore was working after coming back.
The next MOVIE released is Black Widow, which actually takes place right after Civil War and before Infinity War. But you also have WandaVision, Falcon and Winter Soldier, What If, and Loki, which takes place immediately after he picked up the Tesseract in Endgame in 2012.

Edit: what sets you guys apart is that you actually enjoy what you see and excited to see what’s coming next unlike others who I feel like they’re just obligated to react to MCU just so they can post content on their channel. It’s like a chore to them. But not you guys. Keep this up, you guys are awesome!
one of the many reasons why I like this movie is bcz it felt like a classic Spiderman story, especially when he cared more about his friend's safety, even for Flash's safety without caring how he bullies him and call him Pen*s Parker
and the fights and illusions were top tier, especially the illusions
We were all shocked too 😳. This is the first Spider-Man has been exposed his identity to the whole world.
I know right especially that this is the youngest movie Spider-man
and then spider man nwh comes and changes everything
Spectacular Spider-Man kinda did it first
@@STELLA_UwU yeah except it was resolved faster and reporters were after this not the police and no one was 100% they still asked him if he was spider-man
@@shaunstudios163 yeah, that’s what I meant by “kinda” but it also gave that shocking reveal effect like the movie as it also happened at an episode end as far as I remember
Sad Fact: This is the first MCU movie “without” a Stan Lee cameo. 😢😢😢
18:29 -- every comic book fan saying "Yeah; we thought you knew."
The visual effects for Mysterio were perfect.
Black Widow (July 9, 2021)
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (September 3, 2021)
Eternals (November 5, 2021)
Spider-Man: No Way Home (December 17, 2021)
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (May 6, 2021)
Thor: Love and Thunder (July 8, 2022)
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (November 11, 2022)
I like how you say "stuff" to not spoil something that many didn't take notice of.
the damage from the drones is real. all the imagery is whats fake, but the drones do real damage.
Guys as i said i swear iv been waiting for 2 months for Spider-Man: No Way Home💔 PLZ Guys after this we'll wait, cause its even like sequence to NO WAY HOME PLZZZ
I think he's right, don' even make to a pole vote. bec its a sequence🧡🧡
Best movie i've ever seen, and goosebumps. ilove it NO WAY HOME😥
OMG YESSSSSS PLZZ @Perfect Mix 😍 can't wait for it please
Spide man :no way home -> Better than all the spider man movies💖🤞
%100 right💙💙❤❤
I actually can’t wait for you to get on to Spider-Man no way home, I hope you don’t get spoiled by the movie poster or something
And you should skip the intro it contains a spoiler
"Wrecking Ball'
That weapon is actually called a Morning Star and it was a very brutal weapon designed to penetrate Knights Armour
the damage is real. it's coming from the drones. the drones project both illusions and damage.
My favorite YT couple is back with more MCU!
I loved this movie! The relationship between Peter and MJ was so damn cute! When she gives him a kiss, it is a quick little peck like a schoolgirl kissing her boy for the first time. My heart melted! Amazing to think they are together IRL.
You're only supposed to call him Fury, also can't wait for spiderman 3 ❤
34:50 "Is that a real place?"
No, that's Stark Tower from the first Avengers movie, which looks like it got renovated with that new breezeway. IRL, Stark Tower is not real. The MetLife Building is the actual building in that location, and it looks nothing like Stark Tower.
Steve Ditko was the first artist to draw Spider-Man. Stan Lee came up with the idea and wrote the scripts for many Marvel comics including Spider-Man.
Love you guys! Next up would be WandaVision the tv series. It's vital to the MCU and I think it's going to blow your mind! Can't wait
I think Happy directed Iron Man 1&2
27:46 that's the White Cliffs of Dover.
What do you think Tobey's movie's we're about in every movie it was about peter and Mjs relationship. It's super annoying
We ended an whole Marvel phase and we lost the one guy who did all this
In Spider-Man: Homecoming, Peter had to fight the Vulture alone at the end without his high-tech suit
25:50 FUN FACT: All those flowers are 100% CGI!!
Out of context 28:39 is hilarious
I know people hating this movie but for me was way better than the first one
Loki (2021)
What If...? (2021)
WandaVision (2021)
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021)
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021)
Eternals (2021)
Spider-Man No Way Home
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)
Hawkeye (2021)
Moon Knight (2022)
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022)
She-Hulk (2022)
Ms. Marvel (2022)
Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)
Werewolf by Night (2022)
The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special (2022)
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania (2023)
Guardians 3
Secret Invasion
That’s the order including tv shows
Cant wait for yall start the new phases gonna be alot of fun and exciteing, you might actually catch up to now if these actors/writers strikes dont end soon lol
I believe Spider-Man was struggling with his spider sense in this movie until towards the end
And now they have to watch Spider-Man: No Way Home!
Its not that his spider sense doesnt work, its just that he hasn't learned how to properly use it.
Lmao I knew you guys were gonna reference ghost adventures when you mentioned that island 😂😂
I can’t lie, found you guys a while back and addicted to the videos lol, love from Scotland :)
FWIW the state of airport bathrooms is a spectrum. I worked at a book store in an airport in Calgary and the bathrooms were always clean and attended to properly, I never had any issues.
Si está película les gusto, Spiderman No way home supera las espectativas 🔥
Now its time for the history
SPIDER MAN NO WAY HOME🔥
s. ditko ( Steve ditko) was the co creator and original artist for spiderman
Which also mean Peter is so intelligent that even though he doesn't know where or what he know where to hit which makes it crazy.
yeh what stuck out to me about this one was that Peter and MJ's relationship was the most mature relationship out of all of them (Ned and blonde girl; Happy and Aunt May) - Pater and MJ seemed to handle their relationship the best.
But yeh, great movie.... loved seeing Jake Gylenhall in the MCU. (He was almost cast for Spiderman, back in the Tobey Macguire days)
I love your reactions guys. Also I love Ghost Adventures too
I can’t wait till you guys get to WandaVision ❤
Spider-Man no way home picks up right after this movie
I always think of WandaVision as the thing right after Endgame. I keep forgetting this is in between.
Technically black widow is even before Wanda vision but the pandemic changed it
How. Monica gets to work on a year. She sees Wanda be Wanda on the timeline
The code "There was a surfboard you left behind."was referencing that Happy knows that "Fury"is really Talos(who first came to Earth as the surfer woman in "Captain Marvel".)
I remember i came back from Europe for the 1st time around the same time this movie hit theaters
You do should visit the Netherlands for sure :)
Love Spider-Man Far From Home❤ and I love Tom, great point of view, now it's your turn to see...Spider-Man No Way Home. To finish with the triology.
MJ AND PETER ARE SOOOO ADORABLE ❤❤❤
there gonna love nwh
OMG, i worked at Shield Headquater in Berlin for years and didn't know it :D
Even
Dead
I'm
The
Hero
👨🏼🍳😙👌🏼
Everyone in the theaters that read the comic's knew Mysterio was the villain.
13:40 Girl problems? Cap, Thor, Hulk, Star Lord, Drax, Ant-man, Dr Strange etc. The all do.
You're more than welcome to come here in The Netherlands haha. I love that they used actual Dutch actors for this movie. Was also cool you recognized us just from the orange football jersey 😂
btw the tower at the end that he glides through is what avengers tower used to be but its still unclear who owns it now some think its the norman osbourne of this universe and some think its the fantastic 4 that have a movie coming out in a few yrs but its not been confirmed who owns it yet. also u guys r not ready for spiderman no way home its insane af
That moment you realize that bald dude with the glasses is Ralphie from “A Christmas Story “ if you’ve seen the move you’ll know what I’m talking about
Can’t wait for y’all to react to Spider-Man nwh imo I think Tom holland is the best Spider-Man and his character development from civil war all the way to no way home is one of the best if not the best character development I’ve seen in the mcu.
Fun fact: Mysterio was actually in the Tobey Maguire whole trilogy. In case you didnt know why Bruce Campbell played in 3 movies 3 different characters now you know.
WandaVision series
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series
Loki series
Black Widow
What If? series
Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings
Eternals
Hawkeye series
Spider-Man: No Way Home!
You could start the Disney+ series. Wandavision next. It is set three weeks after Avengers Endgame.😎
WandaVision is next and ITS SO GOOD, we'll get to explore more of Wanda :)
1:52 ohh Lucky 😂😂😂
Happy is the director
Of the movie, what’s his name lol
In case you were wondering why Peter scenes turned off. It was because the spider scene was traumatized after the blipp. People didn't see it coming but Peter scenes turn off letting him know his in danger. Therefore was working after coming back.
I meant wasn't working after coming back
Did you mean "sense" ?
Yeah didn't mean to put "C" in there.
Nick Fury was really crawling up spider man’s butt and giving him grief but I was like he’s a child he needs guidance
And they’re together on real life. It’s so beautiful 😂
The perfect mix
that was the end of phase 3, you're about to start phase 4
Next up is wandavision phase4 start
WandaVision next!!!! Youse are gonna love it!
So now there's three MCU Disney+ shows before the next movie
(In my opinion) Tobey best spiderman andrew best Peter and toms the best of both worlds perfect mixture. But this movie didn’t do him justice
22:50 "I mean I feel like at some point they're all gonna figure it out (that Peter is Spider-Men)"
Well ...
May aswell start watching Wandavision and Loki too.
Both top tier imo.
cant wait to see you two seeing no way home
Begining of movie:
-Maria Hill: "Nick..."
-Me: Huh?
Whole movie: Nick Fury fell for this?!?
End of movie: Ah... Yeah, OK. I guess...
The next MOVIE released is Black Widow, which actually takes place right after Civil War and before Infinity War. But you also have WandaVision, Falcon and Winter Soldier, What If, and Loki, which takes place immediately after he picked up the Tesseract in Endgame in 2012.
