- This was so much harder than I thought it would be, but I hope you enjoy some solid entertainment of me riding the Yamaha R7 for 30 hours straight! Total time was right around 31 hours and ill be an experience I'll never forget.
Everything was done safely under professional supervision!

Nah road trips like these are a vibe ⚡️ Congrats on the new place dawg 😎
thank you brother!
@@PlungerPapibecause I’m an absolute nerd I’d like to inform you that gps guidance systems were actually invented in 1978, although it was a prototype it still worked
Possible reason for the burnt smell, there's a 500mile break in period where you shouldn't rev the engine over a certain RPM, I'm pretty sure you mentioned you did. Also, This was crazy. I planned on riding two hours back after buying mine in a different town but ended up getting a U-Haul trailer instead. Mad respect for pulling off such a long trip. God have mercy on your body after such a ride.
that makes sense for the burnt smell. now it’s completely gone since I finished the video so i’m happy but it was concerning at the time.
and thanks man! hope you’re enjoying your bike. u-haul was a smart idea
I have the 2022 60th anniversary edition love the bike
@@PlungerPapion a UA-cam video a dealership says that the smell comes from a coating on the engine that eventually wears off so don’t worry about it. It’s normal.😊
Got an R3 recently, and let me tell you I went through similar struggles with the heat, and bugs here in the Central Valley. My first trip I quickly found out the bugs felt like BB’s so now I use pants and moisture wicking long sleeve shirts. For riding in the heat drink plenty of water, there are hydration packs you can slip into regular backpacks with drinking tubes. Use light colored clothing, long sleeves, and bootcut jeans. You can crack the visor up just a notch to get more air flow while not affecting your eyes. For fuel economy, slower isn’t always better. On the r3 I get better fuel economy at 6k rpm than 4k rpm, also 6th gear at 60ish mph gets me about 75 to 80mpg consistently (Yamaha only rates the r3 for 56mpg, but most people find that that’s pretty conservative/ mixed riding). The fuel economy starts to drop off pretty quickly after 75mph
Gel seat for the win, and add a tank bag to lay down on. My record on my 05 GSXR-750 is Lancaster, CA to Rock Hill, SC (2641 miles) in 49 hours. I usually try to keep my speed within 5-10 mph of the flow of the faster traffic, and it usually takes me right at 19 hours to cover 1100 miles.
Good stuff! I should've taken some advice from you first. this was way harder than I anticipated.
@ChrisIvan yeah riding long distances pretty much non stop is harder than a lot of people think. I find myself shifting my butt off to the side of the seat to rest one cheek at a time, and standing on the pegs for a mile or so once in a while just to stretch. Another tip, find a thick rubber o-ring that fits snuggly over your bar end. Once you get pn the highway in the middle of nowhere, roll the oring between the bar end and throttle grip. Walla instant cruise control. You will likely notice the throttle slowly backing off every few miles, but a quick twist to reset the speed and you're good to go. You can still manually twist the throttle back if you need to slow down quickly. Also if you would have bypassed the Hoover Dam and went south straight through Needles, you most likely would have cut 2 hours or so from your trip.
awesome dude! I can only imagine how bad your knees must've hurt.
it was so painful there aren't words for it
The part when he describes about society trying to take away masculinity and the bike giving you that connection that society is taking away... you get me.
absolutely. we have to stand together
Sick Video, I rode my R7 for 2 hours and it absolutely killed me! 😂 don’t know how you did it. Respect 💯
dude those first 2 hours killed me too 🤣
appreciate it brother!
What is motorcycle gear anyway 🤷♂️
who cares about gear
@@PlungerPapidoing that, this way was twice as impressive, as if it was stupid and damn that was a dumb idea haha
@@PlungerPapi That bee is laughin in the spirit world.
Hey, next time you do a cross country ride, just wear a hoodie and some gloves too, extra protection from the sun and from the road.
Plan B on a Sat. mornin' 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
30 HOURS NONSTOP?!
Oof,good luck
whatever it takes!!
Saw this and immediately re-installed The Crew Motorfest just so I could rip around on MY Ducati Panigale R and Ninja H2R

I love my R7, been stretching my stamina on it to 3/4 hrs before I need a break and wanna do more mini tours on it.
Youre insanely awesome, i gotta do something like this
Good motorcycles these Yamaha R7s - I own one and it's a blast. Planning on doing something similar, probably less miles, in a few months or so, when winter is over and spring comes back to life. 🤙
If it was me I would just get extra gas on containers and just ride at 130mph the whole way.
one of the best videos ever watched 😅
dude thanks so much!
What a great video and accomplishment you can brag about for the rest of your life. Thanks for inspiring me to hopefully do something similar.
aquaphor is amazing for wind chapping, it’s my go-to
Me when I go into the mountains 🥶
Oh bro! I feel so identified with you,in the matter of "ride the bike" no matter what! I'm looking to get a new bike,but..the trips is WAY LONG..it'll take 63 HOURS DUDE!! [3,000 Km no counting the "pit stops" and so...]
Hahaha, i really want that bike..and well,i feel very identified 'cause i don't really have all the gear, blah blah blah... So,well...WISH ME LUCK BRO!
Jajaja!
P.S.Keep rockin' that R7!!!
HOW DOES THIS VIDEO ONLY HAVE 1433 VIEWS???????
the algorithm doesn’t send my shorts subscribes my long form videos but eventually with time I think it’ll do great!
I rode an Aprilia RSV4 from Connecticut to Louisiana and back... this video gave me ptsd of parts of that ride... lol
All i imagined when i saw the title was a bike with drop tanks
What happened to the hot woman that wanted to ride yo- I mean your bike 😂
Love that moter cycle
thanks man
“Oops, I forgot to record”
Long form content ftw 👏
lets go!!
The day you crash you will learn to wear gear
Yeah at least wear a jacket
Ah yes safety
26:27 Superb rider gut feeling
4 wheels move your body, 2 wheels moves the soul
this is deep and I love it
bruh ur helmet is sitting sideways , its giving me the itch
its so crazy how u rawdogged the entire ride with no gear lol not even gloves
In Canada we get super cold winters and super hot summers
Did you know they actually sell airbag vests for bikers? So when you get kicked off the bike you slide like you got a turtle shell for 5 secs. Its supposed to protect your neck and back.
I had no idea honestly thats pretty cool
R7 is not a track bike, it's a mt07 with plastics,
This dude reminds me of Will from Grindhard plumbing company 😂 are they related
Bros teeth are whiter than my soul
who said a soul was white?
The reserve light usually means you have 40-50 miles left.
that makes me feel so much better I was stressing
Wow bro i am so fucking proud of you...i should visit you one day it would be a dream
love from south africa bro❤❤❤❤🎉
Canabbis would’ve worked as gas
What books did you read.
O don't know but probably the seat isn't design for comfort but for drag and racing position so you might want to change it up for more cushion ones. this is insane though! 😂
I probably should’ve gotten some cushions 🤣
but
butt
Did you experience any hand tingling or numbness?
probably not since it wasnt mentioned
tell me you fully serviced the bike at 600 miles?
more like 1600 😎
Make sure you’re adding premium gas
I did
Haha the ending was funny
glad you liked it!
Holy shit, I thought 12 hours was long.
12 hours is a long day, this was just insane
WAIT 30 HOURS?!
Dang-
NONSTOP
Awesome! So how many miles you were able to rode before getting the tank dry?
I went about 150 miles before the light came on!
@@PlungerPapi I won't forget that number, I have exactly the same bike, intensity white, it's beautiful
Yup plan for 150 miles, agreed Intensity white 1st and 60th anniversary 2nd.
I wonder where you'll end up next.. lol
me too haha
Welcome to Arizona 😃 👋
thanks! love it here
Describing R7 as a "track ready super sport"? I got news for you buddy LMAO
It's always a dumb trying to be funny with somebody else comment from different videos... I got news for you buddy, you're not funny 😒😉
I dont know what was worse that or calling the Ducati its older brother lol
@@realcasper69 I got news for you buddy I have a R7 & it is not a track ready super sport stop being so fkn offended by TRUTH!
My guy is crazy asf
full sends
What about breaking in period and what about the engine oil ?
I ran the engine oil the whole time, I should’ve changed it. but the break in period I kept it under 5k RPM first 500 miles and then under 6k for 1000 miles
Nice bike
Broooo that's not a Yamaha.... that's a BMW

You lost me at "vision board"
