It is one thing that You don't care about what other road users think about You, but that will change radically once You wreck and Your bike hits a family car with children travelling in it. If they pass away coz your S1K goes into the cabin with 100Mph then You will start thinking about what you did and what the kids' parents will feel and think of You if they survive..
I'm a rider too and I love fast riding but doing it on public roads has way more hazards an can affect life of others if shit hits the fan.
Hence I'm doing most of my fast rides on track..

@@s1krocket He has proper suspension setup, proper tires, proper tire pressure, proper ergonomics, plus skill. I wouldnt be so hard on your skill level until you ride on the track and instead put more focus on properly setting up your bike for performance not comfort.

In a straight line yes bro. But in corners no. Plenty of track videos out there of skilled riders on 600cc smashing 1000cc straight line professionals
Hyper bikes are no better on the road that 700cc class. The smaller bikes handle better and you can thrash them without traction control or risking unsticking the back tyre. That R7 rider was exceptional. His lines were pin point. You did right to back off. Well done, respect

Now we know that for most of us, we don't need more than 700cc. Sure saves a lot of money.
You really don’t need more than 400cc to push a bike to its fullest limit, once you move into bigger cc bikes it’s all about what you like riding

i am rider my self, i have readed some comments and you said that you culd care less what other people think about you, i mean ur right, its ur opinion, i love to watch videos like this because i love drive fast my self, but this is not fast driving, this is reckless driving, approaching cars like that and doing zig zag is not question IF its question WHEN will someone get hurt.... i drive 180mph 50% of time, since i live in germany and here where i live the highway is not that overflowed with traffic as in some parts of germany, that been said, i still drive some kind of safe... good driver is not driver who drive long time, good driver is an driver who count on other people mistakes! i wish you best of luck, but doing zig zag like this will get you killed, and i really hope u wont take some familiy with you

I hit a deer on a motorbike once. Trust me, it costs a LOT more money than a moderate speeding ticket. Makes one hell of a mess. You don't even have to be going fast, I was only on a 250 and going nowhere near flat out.

Northeast cold roads with those tar snakes are a bad combination. Especially pushing the envelope, and yes not knowing the road like you said, also weighs in as to how much you can push, but the elements need to be taken into consideration all the time. Keep the rubber side down, and keep on rippin..!!

Ahhh the good old days. 2011 ZX10R full titanium exhaust, full suspension tune ECU flash I clocked 189 MPH on that HWY opposite direction coming from Springfield. RTE 2 is nice and RTE 8. It's nice to open up the bike 1000cc race bikes. Those days are behind me now. 2022 R 1250 GS in the building

did you hear that planning on completely redoing the part of the highway where 84 meets 91? it's supposed to be done in the next 15 years, but it seems really promising. they've already started doing little "crash prevention" things
Smaller cylinders have always been quicker in the twist than the 1000 and other big cc, I remember when a 600cc was nailing 1000cc on the track !!! The 600 could open full throttle at the middle of the curves wile the 1000 had to be carful because it could high side very easily, on the streets I preferred 1000 but for tracks fun the R7 should be a mean machine for sure !
I agree 100% I’m personally getting a smaller bike for the track series in my channel next year. I’m gonna keep my s1k for the car shows and days where I want to go fast but there’s no need for liter bike power on the track

I used to live in that area and I ripped those highway/road almost everyday. Wish I know u guy back then, it would hv been a fun group to ride with. U guys should ride up near UConn, there r plenty of nice backroad up there.

I don't think I saw you use the clutch lever even once, whether upshifting or downshifting. Does the bike have a rev-matching tech in it, is it a speed shifter, or are you just experienced with clutchless shifting?
BMW comes stock with a quick shifter and autoblip, sometimes I’ll use my clutch to upshift at slower speeds when I’m cruising

Definitely don’t get a 600 as your first bike I don’t believe in growing into a bike, wayyy too much power for a beginner BUT the 450 is very good from what I hear anything under 600cc is a really good option even if you out grow it in 6 months
@@s1krocketjudging by this dudes youtube channel he's definitely not ready for an r6. I started on an r6 but definitely not everyone can do it, went on a group ride 2 months after I started and nobody could keep up with me on the twisties....
I don’t judge anyone, I simply lay the facts out and let people choose what they want to do, at the end of the day you can lead a horse to water but you can’t force it to drink

I agree straight line becomes boring on a superbike, Here in Alberta Canada the roads are arrow straight in every direction. we have the rocky mountains but there are too many tourists and wildlife to be able to ride fast.

its actually amazing to watch when someone actually knows how to ride because you can really see the performance you get out of a lower capacity motor
what has he done to it to make it that fast? i knew the stock R7 has better acceleration/low-end torque and can actually beat a 1000cc off the line on city streets, but the 1000cc starts gapping ~100 mph. either you were going easy on him, or he has some top-end power mods
Like I said when I was with him on the twisty road I was not familiar with the road so I was trying to keep up with him, it’s a full track bike tho with a lot of weight savings, he’s just a better rider all around which is why he was able to gap me on those roads
