Your passion, compassion, gratitude, insights, and energy is very inspirational. You are making a difference; never lose sight of that lovely lady. Thank you for all you do to improve this world. Healing and love to you.
Nice to see you Amanda, a very important subject to consider and expressing your perspective has helped me understand how these issues effects other parts of the world.
Yes, i suspected that about the Seattle center. It was really cool to "walk" around with you. The space needle, the sculpture, the atypical architecture really fun. Thank you
Hi Manda, we always love your smile, its always the same as when you were homeless, we love you always, much love from me and my wife in Indonesia.....
I just subscribed. I can’t watch it live because I live in Spain. Anyway, thank you for speaking out regarding the climate change. :) Your voice matters.
Hi ma'am from Manila, Phillipines 🙏🙏 Ive been fan of you since i see your life and knowledge being a homeless way back & I salute you for you perpectives in life to be positively 👏👏 And you inspired me and many people here my simple country as well 👍 Keep safe ma'am God Speed Goodluck 🙏❤🙏
12:02; those who have and are able go to the local filling stations and pay forward for cold drinks for unhoused. I was at our park on a hot day recently. Someone had put three ice chests full of water bottles iced down. The lids all had sharpie written on the lids no charge.
18:40 Are You My Neighbor by Veggie Tales, a Video i watched countless times with my children. All their childhoods and now as adults they just see people and critters. Im so glad. So thankful. From little if they saw a person walking pushing a cart with their things, or lingering trying to fade but just had that cast off by society vibe, and they had a snack or we had a sandwich packed, mama is it ok? Even younger, like Tin, "I give", it was always sure. Id be right there with them. They'd hand off their unopened treat or snack, most of the time folks wanted to say no about taking from a child/toddler. Id look, no take it. Its fine. They want to share. Its important they learn to share. You're helping them learn the right way to be. They offered. You're doing a good thing by accepting.
I get depressed in the summertime as well, and our summers are usually mild. I'm in the San Francisco bay area. We barely got any rain this year, and just when we got out of the last drought, we're right back in another even worse one. And then there are the wildfires. Last year we got a few dangerous heatwaves, though, with triple digit heat, And like Seattle, few people near the bay have AC because it rarely gets hot enough for it. We ultimately broke down and bought a portable swamp cooler as it seems the heatwaves are becoming more frequent.
@@AmandaRicher thankfully, the bad forrest fire here was before covid hit. Here the unhoused mostly hung at McD or the Library or Starbucks. They were all pretty good about just letting them be there. At least, for a while. Now, with covid restrictions McD is only a drive through, starbucks just got some of their tables back, and the Library has a limited amount of time anyone is allowed to be there. Its really rougher yet on the unhoused. Im thankful the wild fire here is either out or down. Still working on the idea of the community forrest.
Emerald, yes Manda and I both have weather affected medical conditions, we can empathize. Of course that's not to say i know what you feel, because i don't. Physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual pain are all each persons and only the individual knows. I can empathize because i experience my own RSD, CMP, PTSD, Arthritis . . . I don't have MS. I have known a couple of people with it and that's a tough dx. I hope you have a network to walk along side you. I have times where i feel completely alone. Manda is such a blessing to me. I gain so very much encouragement from her perseverant, compassionate, protective heart. Stay tuning in catch lives when you're able. Even commenting here. The community she has attracted has been a huge blessing to me. The dialogues are very mutually uplifting, real, totally feel like you've gone to a friends and sat to share coffee, thoughts, feelings, heart-to-hearts, maybe a sip coffee and paint, or another art/craft project. Lots of right brain activity she does, she shares we all just converse in the comments. I love the visits. I know they are vlogs, but after a few i hope you'll gain the same sense of community and connectedness i experience.
You look so well rested and refreshed. Its amazing how far you have come.Your such an inspiring person.

It is my belief that social injustice is spiritual and requires prayer but praying xx ❤🙏❤

manda great women!
Do Mylar blankets reflect heat away? Will they serve as a shade cover reflect the sun away?
Not sure, honestly. Need to do more research on heat survival
