The difference is that Brad was double tracked and had Tom Shultz' production genius to make it better.
No one sings like Brad, period. He had the best tonal quality of any singer I've heard, hands down.

Having seen BOSTON with Brad Delp, I here by salute you. Awesome job !! ✌from Utah
You don't see many people attempting to cover Brad's vocal sets for a multitude of reasons, he's impossible to match but by the end of this, you almost had me fooled. The start was a bit low on power you got in the zone on the first chorus and you quickly got right on track and nailed it. The level of difficulty this set presents is insane. Even properly skilled vocalists will struggle to get remotely close to nailing this but you fuckin did it.
Brad was the pinnacle of vocal talent. Very few (1.3% of the global population) possess a full 4 octave let alone a full 5 octave range.

Your voice is right on ! But your style is boring. You need a prop or something. Don't stand there swaying, bobbing your head or clicking your fingers. Air guitar is better. Can you play guitar? Use one as a prop.
Most people are horrible trying to cover any of Boston's songs. Even the best singers can't come close to being average with this song. But with that said I did enjoy your voice and like someone commented earlier...... Your better than what Boston has now. Tom should give you a tryout.

yeah good timbre and range dude but Brad had an angelic voice pretty unique impossible to cover , same as Jon Anderson from Yes. My advice don't listen to all this tone deaf comments here you got the pipes to be in a band as a lead singer , put an ad everywhere get musicians and make songs ..play live you'll see , you're wasting your talent here..

Not sure if you needed a popper for this song, but it was great. Lots of high pitch songs are very hard to do but you have plenty of potential to improve and you do that by keep doing what you're doing. You'll get there. All the best in your singing endeavor.
