    Lucky I don't have a Note. 😂

    You installed the bulbs incorrectly. First insert the plastic ring, hook it with the spring and then insert the bulb. This way it will fit perfectly.

      Thank you, I'll have to check it out again when I get a chance.

    Is the conversion light legal in UK ? Anyway, did you have any troubles with headlight regulation ?

    • @scatsp
      @scatsp  Рік тому

      For sure 100% legal. Interms regulations, not sure what you mean by that. All I did was take it to the MOT station and they align the headlights and passed the MOT. Easy peasy.

      @@scatsp I am considering replacement of the headlight myself and red a lot of bad reviews of depo and tyc in regards to difficulties to level it. BTW I checked and it is not legal in UK too. It also shall not pass MOT so you have been lucky (in 01/2021 MOT manual has been updated to check for LED retrofit). Anyway thanks for the movie and reply. @@liquidsn0w Mate what country are you from? Because here in the UK, the MOT people are very strict . Plus the headlamps meet all regulations and the LED lights are fully legal. I'd be very surprised if I'm wrong.

      @@scatsp check the MOT: 4.1.4: Existing halogen headlamp units on vehicles first used on or after 1 April 1986 must not be converted to be used with high intensity discharge (HID) or light emitting diode (LED) bulbs. If such a conversion has been done, you must fail the headlamp for light source and lamp not compatible.
      This does not refer to complete replacement headlamp units which may be constructed with HID or LED light sources.

      @@liquidsn0w OK thanks for the heads up. I'll change them back to halogen when my next mot is due and change them back to led again after.

    Good luck taking out those LED bulbs. The back looks HUGE compared to a regular bulb, and the regular bulb is awkward enough to get that retaining spring off with the restricted space. Be funny if you have to take the lights out again just to change the bulb.

      Thank you, Fair point I'll have to do a trial to see if it's as hard as you say. However I doubt a L.E.D bulb will rearly blow, so I hope it won't come to taking it all a part.
      I tell you what if I can take the bulb out, I will make a video of it especially for you.

      @@scatsp Okey dokey. I remember when I first changed my regular bulbs to Osram Nightbreakers, I couldn't get the retaining spring off, I couldn't really feel how it was held on, I resorted to watching UA-cam vids to see, and bought a little mirror and long reach 45° pliers to get the spring unlocked. PITA.

      @charleybrown4243 Рік тому

      @@scatsp I'm sure you realised how tight that spring was to get back on when you fitted the LED units with the headlights off the car, imagine what it'll be like trying to get the springs unlocked with the lights ON the car! I reckon even Stretch Armstrong would be f-in and blinding.

      @@charleybrown4243 lol, as I happened I do remember doing a bulb years ago and I did spend a couple of hours on it, and your right it is dam hard.

      Hello mate, I just had a quick look at the rear of the lamp and for some reason it there is plenty of space to remove the bulb. I can do a video for you if you want?
