You should've shown the beam pattern. That's the important aspect of low beam bulbs.

Cool thanks for the video, I got a set of LED bulbs like this (from another brand) and was wondering how they'd fit in my Nissan. My bulbs have the same kinda of setup as these so I know exactly what to do now!

the link is dead, but I think I found one that looks the same as the one in the video, it's Hikari 2023 20000LM H4 9003 Dual Beam LED Bulbs

Interesting video but this process of changing Quartz Halogen bulbs over to LED type bulbs is a process that is illegal in New Zealand. If your vehicle left the factory with inbuilt Halogens together with the associated Halogen reflectors that go with it, you must replace any future bulb with the same type hence, Halogens. Apparently LED/s have a slightly different type/shape/size of reflector etc & therefore the reason this intended change is an illegal action in NZ & you will not get a vehicle WOF (Warrant of Fitness) which every single vehicle must have to be legally on a NZ road. I went through the process of updating my Halogens to LED/s but was refused a WOF & so I had to return to the usual Halogens but I did get brighter ones at least!! From my some what limited knowledge on the subject & whilst LED/s will naturally fit into (usually) a former Halogen light fitting but its more to do with the shape/size of the reflector & besides Halogen designed light fittings were never designed originally with LED/s in mind!! Purely a safety aspect I'm sure & especially after viewing the LED results on a lighting screen which did not impress me all that much with the light pattern being portrayed in the wrong palces. No wonder they are illegal here & rightfully so!!

Germany is in the process of testing LED bulbs from Osram and Philips in different cars. They have to do it individually for EVERY vehicle since the headlights are all unique. There's many already certified- even old Toyota Land Cruisers with the 7" round sealed beam headlights. I'm checking to see what's allowed in Germany because they're incredibly strict. Not saying it would be legal in NZ. I know Australia has some sort of memo of compliance or something with E-Code lamps that allows use of the same lamps as Europe for the most part- I'm thinking particularly the newly allowed multiple reverse lights mounted on the sides of Lorries.
