Thank you! Just the info I needed to get this tricky little job done. The owners manual is completely useless in this regard! After ages struggling to get the spring clip off to no avail, I found that by using a pair of bull nosed pliers to grip one side of the spring I was able to pull it off quite easily.
Just changed both bulbs today I did it different this time I peeled off the rubber first and got to the wire clip after a fiddle around managed to get the whole thing off..then you can grab the bulb and the connector it separates easier...also found it helps to unclick the cable to the side light. Gives you more room to work...fitting new bulb smeared the pins with coconut oil.. Lol not sure if that will last or help for next time..might try that also on door hinges when they get dry..who knows.. Lol
Someone said before yu put back connectors and clips smear some Vaseline on it for next time like i did that with the brake light bulb replacement all these things. Are so hard to get off and access....makes you sick..for a simple thing
Hi Nikola I don't recall the exact model or make, but if you Google "nissan note headlight bulb" you should be able to find suitable replacements. If you're not sure, just pop into our nearest garage or car parts shop and ask them. Even though we love to hate Halfords here in the UK, they do have good charts in the shop that help find the right bulbs. Sorry I couldn't give you the precise model number.

So you meant to say REPLACING THE BULB... NOT THE ACTUAL HEADLAMP

I just tried to change the bulbs on my wife's Note and I couldn't even get the plug off the back of the bulb. It must be really corroded in there.
You changed the bulb!! Not the headlamp..
