Jim Brown was as straight up as any person could ever be. There was no BS, no pretense, no ego. He said like it was. And that's why people respected him , besides his NFL career.
To have been alive, a celebrity, and in your prime during the heydey of The Playboy Mansion and Studio 54. Judging by listening to the famous people who were there, NOTHING will ever compare.
Be interesting to hear Jim Brown talking about Elvis Presley. I know they met at least once in 1964 as there are photos of them both. From most interviews of celebs that met Elvis I'm sure Jim has positive things to say about Elvis. I can't find one celeb who met Elvis who has spoken negative about him.
Elvis was a big football fan. I think back in the 70’s when the WFL was around he was a part owner of the Memphis franchise. It’s also been said that if he were alive today he definitely would’ve been behind the effort to get an NFL franchise in Memphis, not Nashville
@@johnnyangel9163 Thank you for your reply. Jim Brown was not fired by Richard Pryor. Pryor had a bad drug habit that dismantled their relationship. Jim Brown had some bad women problems the only situation I understand. Jim Brown was to busy making money and did break down gang violence in California.
@@tyroneprice6642 According to the playboy documentary last night on A&E, JB sodomized some poor girl in the grotto at the playboy mansion, and sexually assaulted many of the girls. Still think he was such a great guy?
Oh yesss Patti McGuire, gorgeous! Big Jim Brown was all about the females showing up at the party, until it was his daughter and she was showing up at the Rick James house party.....super freaky....
I use to think the "partying" went on inside the mansion, but going by pictures of inside the place it looked boring and depressing.I'm guessing they just went there to hookup and then left.Jim Brown was great.
Weird, as someone who’d never heard of Jim Brown until the playboy doc, to see this comment section littered with such high praise is a sad reminder that treating women like pieces of meat and punch bags is simply part of his big persona.

Jim Brown is so wonderful to listen to! Honest and very smart!
Jim Brown beat up women, a serial abuser as a matter of fact.
@@sassyt1545 Did his girl say he tossed her from the Balcony or did she fall?
He's a rapist, who assaulted women violently, who got away with it....

Oh Jim Brown just say you enjoyed it all...took advantage of girls ... girls ...you said it 👏
Love Jim Brown
I would like to hear Jim Brown comment about Wilt Chamberlain.
The Playboy Mansion vs The White House. The Mansion wins.

I take it you haven't watched the interviews of Ray Charles talking about Elvis.

Elvis hated Jim Brown. They had both known a girl and Jim had been knocking her around. Elvis considered having him killed for it!
Jim Brown lived a great life was for humanitarian purposes. Jim Brown football great lived longer than most great athletes.
He's still alive.

Wish I could've been around these type of guys. They seem like a lot of fun.

Jimmy Connors married a Playmate.
Patty McGuire--I still recall her centerfold; she's standing in front of a Wurlitzer juke box. Smokin' hot babe...

JB was about beating them up too!
Didn't he throw a woman out if a hotel window?

Wilt Chamberlain used to beat Jim Brown in foot races and Wilt was barefoot. 😮
That was at a party, and Wilt didn't want to do it, but Jim kept egging him on. He cut his toe, and had to leave the party.
No proof
The story about Brown showing up & looking for his daughter at Rick James’ party is hilarious.
Everyone needs a little TRIM. 🤣

Jim Brown beat women. He was a serial abuser. Why didn't you ask him about that, Graham?
He does later in the interview.

People sell their soul for that life style but life's short heavens forever
Looking back, this may have been the beginning of the end of Jim's core beliefs, being at the Mansion and all that.
