Am so glad I was born in time to see Eddy Murphy in his prime for 40 years straight. This man is gold.
Prime for 40 years? People really will say any nonsense that sound nice that comes to there head. Even if it is absurd.
Me2 ❤
@@tailorknine5046Truth hurts huh
he fell off. HARD
@@JohannesWOW are you serious rn? Whoever’s your favorite comedian wishes they had had a speck of his talents...you should never say that in public EVER
Trading Places is a classic!!!!
first movie I watched on a VCR, right when it came out on video
One of the best movies EVER made 🙌🙌🙌
Distinguished Gentleman is solid as well.
MY FAVORITE
We don't talk about that movie enough
Coming to America is better and was a bigger hit way bigger!
Eddie murphy is a living legend cant believe he's 63 doesnt look a day over 40 incredible.
66 I think
I literally just said the same thing to myself
You people forget there is makeup.
@outlander234 even with make up
@@patrickdupiton8953 Trust me he doesnt look 40. I have seen many celebs looking spectacularly young in these professional interviews only to look their actual age in ordinary lighting and no make up. He is black and took care of himself so he is definately much younger looking than most for sure.
I was married April 1989 and stayed at the Four Seasons on the parkway in Philadelphia. Still in my wedding dress, my husband and I entered the elevator and these two huge guys were standing there , arms crossed. A voice from behind us said, congratulations. We turned around and it was Eddie Murphy!!!. All we could say was thank you. We were both shocked and wished looking back had him autograph my dress or had camera phones back then 🤣 it is still an exciting chance meeting and memory.
Eddie's got it all: he's got the intellect, he's got the jokes, he's got the stories, he's got the impressions, he's got the characters, he can do sketch comedy, he can do stand-up, he can do voice work -- and that's just as a comedian. He can also sing, he can dance, can also act dramatically
I love Eddie Murphy too. He could run and be elected President.
He has done sshit for over 25+ years. He is irrevelant now. Either make a stand up special or something funnny or disappear. No one ride 1 stand up special more than Eddie Murphy and he thinks he is forever legend.
He would be irrevelant in today's comedy. So many specials etc. Eddie is lucky because 70s had barely good comedians.
That's why he doesnt do anything anymore. George Carlin would be doing SPECIALS STILL if he was ALIVE..
@@supernotnaturalGeorge Carlin is irrelevant nobody cares about that bitch
The G.O.A.T. 🔥
well said!
Even when it's unintentional, it feels like Eddie is channeling Charlie as a tribute
Charlie Murphy…best brother ever.
As he's getting older his looking more like Charlie
I noticed that. I feel like I never saw any Charlie in Eddie before he passed. NOW, I see/hear small hints. And as somebody commenting. Eddie is started to look more like Charlie. So, it's a cool little thing.
Eddie Murphy looking incredible for 63, this man is a vampire lol

💯💯💯💯

Bad boys 4 sucked, let's wait for Beverley hills cop 4 Hmmm
Eddie Murphy is such a versatile comedian and awesome talent. Can't wait to watch the new Beverly Hills Cop. Those and 48 hours are still fun to watch to this day!
There’s the Eddie we all know & love! When he first came back, he seemed nervous in interviews & was serious & soft-spoken. Now, he looks more comfortable, cracking jokes & doing impressions. Love it! I’m excited for the new movie. I loved BHC!
I agree, when he returned at first it was a bit lackluster with his sketches on SNL and CTA2, but now he does seem waayyyy more open
love the fact he was always reserved,
What you saw was the "real" Eddie Murphy. After taking that long break from the spotlight it just took him a bit to bring out his alter ego.
@@Trans4mClub your right, I think sometimes we forget these celebrities are actors
Completely agree
I can’t think of anyone cooler than Eddie Murphy. He’s above everything!
One of the most funniest, & best comedians ever!! & He’s also one of the most humble!! Love Eddie Murphy!! 💜💜
❤️❤️❤️ red wave
His laugh and character in Beverly hills was unforgettable
Brings back memories...my younger days watching Coming to America, Beverly Hills Cop...and even Golden Child, which I loved for some reason...those sure were the golden years of cinema!
Facts!!! we were blessed.

Excellent British actor who plays great villains
You forgot 48 hours! 48 hours was a hit and his big breakthrough in Hollywood.
I remember watching the first Beverly Hills Cop in the theatre. I'm so excited he did this one.
I was lucky to see Eddie on the Raw tour in East Rutherford NJ.
Me too.. about to be 63 in August. That was comedy was really funny without people getting butt hurt

I can't believe Netflix isn't giving this at least a small theatrical run. Those action sequences need to be on the big screen!
I know, especially with Bad Boys getting a theatrical run.
If Netflix put it in the theater there would be no need to download Netflix
I was Really hoping Netflix would consider a theatrics release myself. I was happy when they did it for The Irishman.
Eddie's Obama impression is incredible 🤣
His Oprah impression was even better. You get a jacket! You get a jacket! Everyone gets a jacket!
All of them are
Eddie's impressions are good but Obama definitely isn't one of them. You wanna hear an incredible Obama impression, look up Jay Pharoah

What an absolute legend! Eddie is effortlessly funny, and I'm always amazed how he remembers every single moment and conversation of his life. Next level! Looking forward to BHC 4.
so humble, and an absolute MASTER of his game. Nothing needs an introduction or a set up - the impressions, the iconic stories, the backstories, the family reference: the epitome of underselling and overdelivering.
One of the greatest to ever do it. Living legend. The great Eddie Murphy.
Eddie is the realest cursing on The Tonight Show & Jimmy loves it. 😂
Everybody loves Eddie Murphy!
I get the feeling that if you showed Eddie 1 photo from every month of his life he'd not only remember it but have a fantastic story about each one. Dude is a living legend!
He definitely helped make the 80s the crazy fun decade that it was. Looking at him now it's like no time has passed at all. ❤
Eddie and Denzel open so many doors for us man ✊🏾 🐐
Sidney Poitier
Eddie was arguably the first Black superstar. People think Will Smith was the first Black actor to top blockbuster movies but Eddie had a string of hits throughout the 80s.

Never seen many of his movies, strict parents, but they loved Trading Places--I was 2 when that one came out. I am still watching movies I never saw, a few per year, he is so talented. And here he looks like he is in his early 40s. Amazing.

I love this time, for Eddie Murphy. He is so chill, in this late night appearance. He has product coming out but, he's just happy that it's out...no pressure. Meanwhile, Fallon is as manic as always. I did like when he showed Eddie the photos because you know Eddie will relay some history behind the photos that you never knew before...I loved that. A comic LEGEND. I will see anything that this man has done. Love you, Eddie Murphy!!
Eddie Murphy is a legend.
Back in the 80's, I used to go see movies by myself all the time (Jr. High & high school). I remember seeing one of the Beverley Hills Cop movies. They are some of my favorite movies. The audience members are so lucky to get one of those jackets.
Same here (going to movies by myself during those years) - - older siblings were usually doing other things , so I'd usually end up going alone, but after a while really enjoyed it 😊
Eddie lookin like he in his late 30’s black don’t crack
His Tyson impersonation is the best
Eddie Murphy has an incredible memory. He seriously remembers things from the past from time, moment, date and what they were saying

The flightrr that Mike Tyson had just fought in that photo & said that his punch felt like a f'king mule kick was Donovan Razor Ruddick. 😂
