My word, Sarah, my heart was sailing away just listening to your beautifully philosophical words and then finally, melted down as I was watching you making all these knitting friendship bracelets! How glorious!
I wish I had found you just a month or two sooner than I did, so that I could try and join as well. Alas, we cant have everything in life - but my heart is bursting at seeing all the thoughtfulness and love that you are pouring into k2p2. A great reminder to try and stay as lovely as I can be!
33:22 When you will be joining sock parts with a kitchener stitch, don't forget that it will add one extra row. Happened to me a few times, and I was confused why there were one extra row in my project 😅 44:00 oh, what a cute dolls! I love them! Reminds me of a bear, the same construction I made when I was a kid. Funny story. When I was 6yo my paternal grandma taught me how to knit. Then when I was 7, I was visiting my other grandma for a summer holiday, and I found this very basic recipe for that bear in a pile of old papers she was saving for her wood oven. I ask her if she has some spare wool and 5 needles i can borrow. She gave me no questions and then some time later she was amazed to see my bear ❤ she didn't even know I could knit, and that pattern wasn't very detailed (from 80's no clear patterns back then) I remember now this story and I am so proud of that creative child I was 😂 i will totally join you if you do that knit-along ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Dear Sarah, Watching you hang up your beautiful winter sweaters, I wonder how you protect them from MOTHS? 🫣 Thank you for your so comforting podcasts. 🌻🧶🥰
Oh Sarah I love listening to you. I'm from South Africa and every meeting with you on the net is a "heartjumping" event for me. I wish you all the best with your P2K2 event. May you be blessed and share your good spirit with everyone personal. Wish I were not living so far - I would like to meet you in person! Be blessed
Thank you for your wonderful podcast! It was heart jumping! ❤️ I also want to thank you for the great tip on knitting the Summer Lee cuff inside out to give it more stretch. I had knit one cuff and frogged it as the cuff ended up too tight. I will try again! 😊
I think you are amazing! You accept challenges, even though they are scary, in life and your craft projects. I could not have put the stitches on the needles after cutting the sock apart. That is one thing I am just not sure how to accomplish. The bracelets you made are a great idea. In the United States, we often purchase a rubber type bracelet with words of encouragement when people are ill. We then either share them with others or ask for a small donation to help the patient. The idea is that when you wear the bracelet you are thinking or praying for the person for whom you wear the bracelet . So, I think the idea of the bracelet is lovely as they will remember the day and you for organizing it. Great idea. Your daughter is very brave to be knitting her own sweater. She takes after you when it comes to challenges, I bet. Looking forward to Friday! Have a great week!❤
I've been watching you these past few months. You have a passion for fiber art....making me want to knit and learn to crochet..I do sew. You also gave a beautiful sole.thank you for being a bright star
Your niece was being "stubborn." I'm sure she'll love the socks once they are the right size and she sees them on her feet. When you want to do a hard thing we say you want to "sink your teeth into it." Your festival sounds lovely. What a wonderful premise. Instead of being about commercialism it will be about community and connection. Your bracelets will be the perfect keepsake to remember the festival. I wish I was coming too!❤🧶
There is a saying that applies to what happened with you missing the error in your colorwork socks : "miss the forest for the trees". Expained as "they are very involved in the details of something and so they do not notice what is important about the thing as a whole." lol has happened in different situations in my life, and must have happened to others too, so don't feel bad about it!
Hi Sarah , your event on Nov 23rd sounds amazing. Maybe I can come next year , I live near Munich and am Canadian 🇨🇦 never been to Holland . Have a great time !
Hi Sarah! in the US, we "sink our teeth into it". I enjoy hearing how our two countries have the same expressions with only slight differences. It makes it easy to understand what we mean to say.
I absolutely LOVE your sweaters and cardigan that you showed at the beginning of this episode! I would love to do the scrappy one!!!! I just need you to come to my house and help me😉I am excited for your yarn event K2P2!!! It is going to be fantastic!
I got an advent calendar for the first time this year, but it isn’t yarn. It’s a stitch marker one and I’m so excited for Dec 1. :D In English we say you “sink your teeth into” something, so the sayings are very similar.
I find that when I'm ripping back and want to put the stitches back on the needles, it helps to leave one row that I then rip stitch by stitch and place them on the needles one at a time Trust me, I have lots of ripping back experiences😊😅
Drawer is pronounced the same as draw, mad isn't it. Knives etc is called cutlery. Im sure k22 will be amazing. Your patience in making such a lot of bracelets is heart jumping.
I’m American, and walking is shorter and you need no supplies. Hiking might take an entire day, and you’d need a backpack for food, water, and other gear.

What a wonderful idea. The bracelets will be a tangible memento for the people who come to your festival. 🇬🇧

When I lived in Germany my husband and I did 10k volksmarch . Loved that part of my life. ❤❤ loved your podcast.
The solution for your colorwork cuff is heart jumping to me, Sarah. Thank you for your videos 😊❤

I’m so glad that I pointed out the difference in the color work sock but sorry for the extra work for you.
Lovely ! and the bracelets are great! I would love to be there. Thank you for your video!🤎
Hi Sarah, I got the right one. Lol. I love you sweather your wearing!!💓
The bracelets are a wonderful idea 🤎
What a cool idea…knit yourself… there will be so many different MiniMe dolls ❤
I just remembered our phrase in English that is similar to your phrase. I want to "sink my teeth into" something and tackle it" .
inspiring nature walk 😊❤
I makes one feel very happy to fix a mistake in a knitting or crochet project.
Inspiring knitting as well as life lessons
On the Ariana that’s too small under the arms, could you add a small gusset there?
Is there a way to put bobbles in after the sweater is complete? Then, later on, you can remove them If you don’t want them.
I think the word for toddlers is “stubborn” 😂

You can say a three year old toddler is being a “threenager” like a strong willed teenager! They both know what they do & do not want!
You are so sweet❤
Has your puppy not been spayed
