I'm new to your videos and really enjoyed seeing your beautiful projects. And I love the phrase "heart jumping" it is a perfect description for the excitement we feel when we do things we enjoy.
I can hardly waite for you niece to get her blue bunny!!! She will definitely have a heart jumping moment…..please tell us all about it! My daughter and I love watching your podcast and love your expression “heart jumping” and now between the two of us we enjoy using it. Your just the best Sarah❤️
Beautiful knitting. Colour looks great on you.
Greetings from South Australia. My g.g.g. Gerrit Miedema was born in Oenkerk, Friesland which we visited in 2019. We stayed at Burdaard a lovely small community on a canal. Love your craft journal.
You will love making the rabbit. I just knit my first toy. The pattern is Vera Teddy Bear in Ravelry. It was a perfect perfect pattern. So well written and easy to follow. No seams. Knit in the round on dpns. If you want to have fun with toys I recommend Vera 🐻 🧸
'Heavenly half-hour of handicrafts' for your heerlijk handwerk halfuurtje?
Groetjes uit Utrecht!
I love the completed vest. It is beautiful both in colour and texture. Looking forward to seeing the blue rabbit. 🇬🇧
I call my alone time to start each day, “My Morning Joy”.
My little great granddaughter loves her LITTLE COTTON RABBIT softies that I have knit for her. She will be 2 years old this May…her mother tells me that she will have one under each arm as she goes to bed….makes my heart so happy❣️
Your vest is beautiful! I am very excited to buy the pattern when it is released this week. I would call your crotchet early morning session a “half hour of crotchet joy”.
It’s call a window sill. ❤ Your work is always heart jumping.
Gorgeous knits and wonderful episode as always! Ps- in the US, a sewn bind-off is pronounced like the word own with an s in front. Sounds like “Sown”
I just love your Prague blanket and those colours. So organised laying them all out on your window sill. 🤎🤎🤎
Watercolour is the word for the painting technique. In Portuguese we say “aguarela”, which looks and sounds similar to the Dutch word.
In French we say Aquarelle 😊
Ulrika is available both as superwash and non-superwash. If the label doesn't say superwash, then it's not. I just knit the Ingrid sweater with the SW Ulrika.
30 enjoyable minutes of crochet 🎉
I saw other comments about windowsill, I might be wrong but I think that is the American version. In England we say window ledge, at least we do in our family.
I still feel as if I need to earn my heart jumping moments, but I am working to change that, ❤ thanks to your wise words.
I just found your podcast for the first time today as I’m resting with my crochet and my little poodle after having my appendix removed yesterday. I think you are delightful and your English is wonderful. It is so cute when you are searching for the right words! I admire that you can speak so well. Your knitting and crocheting is beautiful and your knitting book looks like a treasure! I wish I was that organized. I have soooooo many WIPs because I just love all things knit and crochet. I too carry a project with me everywhere I go. I am subscribing to your channel and look forward to your future podcasts.💗🧶
What a lovely episode!
I enjoyed the change of “backgrounds”, from the sofa to the window and piano, back to the sofa again, so joyful as usual, and rythmy! 🌿✨
Have a beautiful day! 🌞
Love this episode! You don’t like to wear blue, but do you mind knitting with a color that you know will bring your niece joy? I think you can make a wish list so if some wants to buy you a pattern they can pick one that you do want to make. I know that would be hard for you, but it’s something small that a lover of your podcast can do for you.
Those bunnies are fun to make but the clothing is even more fun. I did a kitty for my granddaughter for Christmas and she loves it.
Heartwarming half hour, English version ??
We have made several rabbits and some of her other animals too! It is such a wonderful pattern! I think you will love it ! Can’t wait to see your blue bunny ! ❤
Sarah, your vest is beautiful and it fits you perfectly. It does seem a bit intimidating with all the cables but you did a fantastic job. I’m excited to see the blue rabbit. I have thought about making a rabbit for a long time - I’m excited to see how yours turns out! ❤🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇
Sara I love your Lauder vest. The colour and the cables look amazing. Like your reasoning for starting the day with a treat rather than having to work for it. I use to think that and was disappointed with myself when I felt ai should have worked harder but now I do the same as you and go for the treat first. Your granny square blanket is working up a treat and feel I may jump on to that band-wagon sometime this year.
Thank you for a lovely episode. I love your new vest. And look forward to seeing the blue rabbit. 🌷
LOVE,LOVE, LOVE ,🩷🐣🐰 YOUR VEST ….. I HAVE BEEN WANTING ONE FOR A WHILE… IT IS SOOOOOOOO HEART ♥️ JUMPING TO ME ….. I CANT WAIT FOR THE PATTERN RELEASE …… ONE IN EVERY COLOR 💗…. THANK YOU FOR THE INSPIRATION 🎉 🙏🐑
Your vest is so beautiful! I like the idea of making this vest if you’re new to cables because by the end you won’t be new to them anymore. I will take that advice. The bunny 🐰 will be darling. Happy knitting and crocheting 💚🧶💚
Lovely podcast. Your new garment is beautiful! I love the cables. Hope you have a wonderful week!!
Love your Lauder - can’t wait for pattern release.
Oh gosh so much to love in this episode, Sarah! Your vest turned out so lovely! I can’t wait to see your finished granny square blanket, the style and colors are so beautiful! Your niece will love her bunny and yes it sounds like your your sister and brother in-law are trying to pull the wool over your eyes with the bunny dreams but it’s sweet that they love your knitting so much. I agree with you on winter being close being over. I enjoy the warm cozy time in the house knitting or crocheting in winter but I still do that the rest of the year anyway. OH and I LOVE the socks!!!!! Take care. 🌷🌸🌻🌹
Windowsill. Your Lauder vest is so beautiful. 😍
Heart jumping is not a term I've heard before. I thought at first you were saying hard jumping. I think I say 'up lifting' or joy, 'makes my heart sing'. Love your crochet blanket. The colours are very nice together. I have a Work Books that I love too. I make fabric quilts, patchwork quilts, so I've made a number of Work Books with photos.
I love everything about your test knit Spencer! You did a beautiful job knitting it, and neck detail is really special. If you are ever inspired, I would love knowing the steps to take to get a good fitting garment. I know I must challenge myself in this way, but I lack experience. It would be a dream to knit a cardigan with cables for myself. Already I have too many shawls! Thank you.
Your knitted vest is beautiful Sara🎉🎉🎉The colour is luscious 😊
Lovely episode ! Love all your makes. I've just made a couple of bunnies with garments for my great niece who will be visiting soon from Australia :))
Lovely knitting.
Hi Sarah, I am familiar with Aquarelle pencils, they are really nice to colour with. Loved this episode and your stunning slipover. Rebecca is such a generous designer. Much love from Shetland xxxx
Lovely vest it is so beautiful but I feel a bit intimidated by all the cables even though I am an experienced knitter. I love your knitting project book, you’ve inspired me to start one!
In English if someone is making fun out of a situation, (like your husband asked if you had spilt tea) we call it teasing rather than bullying. Bullying is more a negative word by making someone feel very bad with hurtful words or actions, just thought you might like to know the meaning 😊 you always impress me with your English !
The window shelf is actually called a windowsill, hope that helps!
Maybe sew a dress like yours for the blue rabbit. Then knit a cardigan like yours with a wooly tattoo.❤❤❤
The best is gorgeous. Where can I find the pattern? Thanks
"Garn" is actually Yarn i Norwegian :-)

Dropping a double stitch is so annoying. I found a tutorial to put it back on the needle without having to rip back. It's not especially intuitive.
