Oh my goodness, I just love listening and watching you two while I work on my projects. You two are so fun, so funny and so inspirational with all the projects you do. I do have to agree with Carlos on the clowns and the dolls - a bit creepy but I would love one day if you are podcasting again from Arne’s Studio to have a virtual tour, please! So fun to me to see the spaces in which people we admire create and work! Thanks again for the chuckles and the company!
My miniature poodle is 16 years old and cannot see or hear as well as he once could, but still gets the "zoomies" occasionally and runs laps around the yard and insists on going for a 1-mile walk twice a day to sniff the news. Happy to hear your pup is feeling energetic on her medicine.
So glad you are hosting a knit a long.... I will order yarn tomorrow! Also live the confusion caused by the blasted time change! My sister once did the math for a birthday party...she got it wrong and we were arriving over a three hour time period!!! The children were so confused! Just like I am.
Love the idea of a knit along in November. I joined the American Cancer Society’s knitting every day in November fundraiser so it’s nice to have a project to do everyday!
Last year I skipped the knit-along because I didn't have anything to do with a stocking, but right at the end someone asked me to make her one! So this year I'm definitely doing it.
Hello from the Central Valley of California. Weather here is still very warm. I’m knitting a blanket for a daughter and we’ll crochet two baby blankets for my newest great grandsons. Have a wonderful day. Love watching you.
Hello to you from Pismo Beach😊 I love to see other Californian knitters. I always feel like I'm the only one who lives in such a warm climate yet enjoys the coziness of knitting. Cheers!
I had no idea Carlos was also a member of "Team Snail!" Your Norwegian style knitting and purling tutorials have increased my knitting speed a bit, so thank you very much! Love to watch you both.
A lovely way to start my Monday morning with a video from Arne & Carlos and of course, the beautiful Freya ❤ I'm so looking forward to another stocking KAL, I participated for the first time last year, and was so happy with my first ever knitted stocking. Call me crazy, but I'll be knitting the stocking in air conditioning as it "heats up" here in Australia. Safe travels for your upcoming events ❤x❤
It is so nice to hear about your unfinished projects, and your self-reported slow knitting speed. My first knitting in the round project was a hat for the 7" Eden Madeline doll. I had to restart it 5 times until I got it right. The finished hat is about 3" tall.
😂😂😂What an ending to this episode! My stomach hurts from laughing. Carlos never gives up and Arne needs to iron his fabric. 😅Seriously, thank you for doing another Christmas KAL. I so enjoyed last year’s. You are the best
Arne-- the colors you've chosen for the child's sweater just about match the colors of the Estonian flag! 🇪🇪 I married a first generation Estonian, which makes my kids half Estonian, raised in Montana. 💙🖤🤍 Thanks for all you do, guys, and for sharing it with us! P.S. Wondering how your Mom and Dad are doing, Carlos?
Very pretty fabrics for the doll dresses indeed. I would buy some doll dress patterns if they were on the website :) Those colors will be really nice for that sweater pattern grading class. Your bag is a great way to see where you've been. I'm looking forward to doing the stocking again. The 6 rows a day was perfect. I assume the needle size will be the same as last year?
So glad to hear you will come to USA next year. And to hear about the KAL, I love those cheery Rowan colors! I do like the idea to start Nov 1st so as to finish in time for Holidays. So generous of you to offer the pattern free. Thank you! -Mary
Laughing about your time mix up. I’m in Australia and have just returned from Broken Hill and surrounds in western NSW. It’s a very isolated area and we were jumping in and out of the two time zones. In the end we were even more confused than Carlos! Thank you for the laugh.
Yay! I love last year’s stocking knit along! I have purchased the new bird Christmas stocking pattern and am working on that now. Oh and we set the time back on November 3 this year in the states…I never get the the hour more, hour less, time zone thing either. My brain gets scrambled by it all…lol!
Hi guys it's nice to see youu I love your crazy quilt I always love doing the embroidery on them the doll dresses are beautiful hi Freya well take care and I will catch you later
Gorgeous sweaters. I’d love to be able to knit like this. Oh God - you guys are funny . Love the shades in the polar bear piece-cannot wait to see it finished! Awwww, Freya sounds so adorable ..and smart. Ah those fortunate well- dressed dolls! This was fun ! ❤ xx
I can give Carlos a run for his money when comparing the slowest knitter in the world! Thanks to you and Arne’s tutorial I have increased my speed by learning how to Norwegian knit. If I could get the Cha, cha, cha purl down I would be able to knit twice as fast. 😊❤
Oh boy! Another stocking knit along for Xmas ❤ might to get to finish my one from last year, as Xmas for too hectic for me, so never finished. RL got in the way all this year, so doing it in November will be far better. Looking forward to it🧶❤
I hand-pieced a quilt top. My only regret is using the quilt on a bed that the sun streamed into the window over. The 100% cotton pieces faded and eventually dry-rotted from the sunlight. The 50/50 polyester cotton blend fabrics did not fade or dry out.
I think I would be slower than Carlos at knitting😊I am very slow, it took me 15yrs to knit a cardigan for my first hubby, he did get to wear it b4 he passed away. Then I wore it in the winter to watch TV.
Carlos don’t put yourself down. The doctor I used to work with had a theory that our brains are like computers, and our memories are like files. As we learn through our lifetime we accumulate more and files. That’s why it takes us longer to recall a specific bit of knowledge- we have more files to go through. If that’s the case we need to have a recycle bin. I love and collect dolls but I feel the same way about those 2 dolls; they creep me out
We will be 5 hours difference between Norway and North America until we change the clocks on Sunday, November 3, then the difference will go back to 6 hours difference.
Hey guys! I think your timestamps may be a bit off. Unless I missed something, I didn't hear anything about the knitalong in the 25:00 segment at all. Not until about the 50 minute mark it seems? And As far as the hours...the time in North america will be one hour earlier than usual, while your time remains the same. So if we are used to getting it at noon, we will see it an hour later than we expect. So yes, if we are used to it being available at noon our time, we will see it at one. :)
You both and Freja ("moose! moose!") are so entertaining. Spending time with you has made this weekend so much happier :) A million thanks 😊♥

So glad to hear you've discovered Eivør. She's an amazing talent!

Lol! I loved your shtick. I am knitting the month of November, anyway, so it will be fun to sit and knit with everyone. Take Care!

Carlos! Not only is it not a knitting competition, it's also not a cooking competition. (But if it were, you would definitely be the winner.)

lol Half a hat and no clothes OH MY 😂. Going on UA-cam and finding you too makes my day

Carlos I always thought I was the slowest knitter in the world. As long as it looks good there is nothing wrong with it

We do our own personal best for that day.😊
Love that vintage patten for the sweater

Carlos, your knitting is looking beautiful! Perhaps there is award for most places visited by a UFO.😊❤

Oops! Realize I spelled Freja’s name wrong 😏!!

Question: do you sew the doll clothes on a sewing machine or by hand sewing?
I am so excited about another stocking knit along!! Thank you

Hi!! This one works!
I love to make blankets in the sweater weather.
Understatement of the year... In our field, we are fairly well-known.🤣🤣🤣🤣
There are certainly a lot of us who consider ourselves the slowest knitter alive - at least I think I am!
😊 one with perfect hair and the other with artist hair ❤

Hi guys, can you share the pattern for the polar bear hat?
You can makena pencil skirt with the flower velvet and than a top of satin silk
Going to count on my phone to tell me what time it is in Norway🙃

I’m knitting socks from your yarn.
When I did, I want to come back as your dog
Does Arne sew the doll clothes by hand or with a sewing machine?
Hi guys.
Hi I'm Judy I have just moved to Central Texas.
Welcome to Texas! I’m a native of south central - never a reason to leave, except maybe to go to Norway! 🇳🇴
Sorry Carlos that title belongs to me....😂
Would love patterns for doll knitting
Arne is a hoot today 😅
Carlos, just tell everyone to google the time difference. 😊
👍😂
It’s ok to knit slow. You’re knitting is more complicated. I am not that fast. I wish I were. I have several projects
When my sewing room is clean, I'm not very creative . Just the facts for me.
Do you tat? Jc
ArneCarlos.Clown. Got it! 🤭
Carlos, just tell everyone to google the time difference. 😊
