those rails remind me of the old wave rebel boards... the McGee board mainly. he was a massive dk rider too. 50/50 rails they were tagged as in the 90s. i still haven't bumped into you yet, but you're at a beach i ofter go to in this vid. eyes peeled. great vid. so stoked to see you and the uk riders getting together.
nice waves man, I started boogieboarding about a year ago and already improved lots landing my first barrel roll yesterday all thanks to your videos! I'm from Cornwall too so will hopefully see you out someday!
Do I need those types of flippers because I have some from my snorkel set and was wondering if I could use the ones I already have even tho they are a little different.
Oh is that like a place near you or a shop online? The guy at churchill doesn’t ring no bells 🔔 for me homie but thanks for answering let’s see if you can tell me better please 🙏🏾
Wicked fun session Iain. The board looks great. I'm giving my one it's maiden spin tomorrow night at The Wave. This vid makes me even more excited! Top drawer as usual bru! 🎉✨️🙌🤙
Hey can you tell me the steps to duck diving? I get the concept of it but im not getting my knee fully on the board and also not going deep enough under. Can you help? Great video.
@@iaincampbell_ are these rails unique to this limited board? Chines were laminated on strips of foam if I remember rightly like the Mach 7s. These look similar.
Found a dead dolphin in one of the caves there last week and also had my first bodyboarding experience on that beach im hooked now after a week i went to paddleboard but didnt fancy taking a sup into the ocean the waves where a bit big for me so the first day for the paddleboard so i brought a decent bodyboard we visited a few places more off the map as my cousin has a friend that lived in cornwall nost his life i can not wait to get lut again but live 8 hours away
@@iaincampbell_ ive been bodyboarding for a long time now but yesterday was my first time since a year. I managed to get into the big waves instantly. But it was too easy. Do you know 1 skill i should learn myself that would be pretty cool. I have 3 weeks to practice so💪🏽
I don’t know if I’ve ever caught that many waves in my life 😂 (in one session)
You make okay waves look so fun!
Thanks man, it was about 2h30 in the water.

Kanoa called the bodyboard " the ultimate wave riding vehicle".....total shredder!
@@AWSMEAD absolutely. I still have my KM board in the loft. Such a good template
I will show you the board. Rails are a bit different 45/55 but they do the trick. Feel really good for dropknee. Hope I bump into you soon bru 🤙🏼🤙🏼

Do you wear swim fins, I don’t wear them and do just fine
Always wear swim fins as it helps a lot with control and getting onto waves.
@@iaincampbell_ ok I’ll look into some, but for some reason they make my feet cramp up a lot
you are such a inspiration. i’m a bodyboarder and i want to learn everything you know!
Thanks bru! Watch all these videos. I’m sharing it all on here.
i havent seen the double 50/50 rail in so long. makes me miss my old school Wave Rebel Kainoa McGee board
Stoked that you like it!
its a good day when he uploads, i could watch you all day man! that board tho...❤️
Glad you enjoy it!
Sick bru! I’m stoked to see that you’ll be competing in the Maldives
Where is this beach located?
I loved that roll coming from nowhere 2min56seg 😅
This is in Cornwall, UK.
Do I need those types of flippers because I have some from my snorkel set and was wondering if I could use the ones I already have even tho they are a little different.
The dive fins are not the best… as powerful as they are they will hurt your ankles and hinder your riding. Best to get a set of shorter swim fins.
@iaincampbell_ ok thanks for the reply have a good one 👍
Impressed!
where did you bought them fins?
I got sent them from the guys at Churchill.
Oh is that like a place near you or a shop online? The guy at churchill doesn’t ring no bells 🔔 for me homie but thanks for answering let’s see if you can tell me better please 🙏🏾

Sunny day. Fun sized waves. New board. Whats not to love?
Right on that for sure!
Insane looking board!
Thank you 🙏🏼
So cool to see so much DK action going on. Makes the bodyboard so versatile. Are they 'chine' style old school rails?
Stoked to hear you’re enjoying the DK. I am enjoying it too!
I don’t know what you mean by the old school chine rails? They are amazing regardless!

@@iaincampbell_I bet they don't do it in a 44"! Handsome looking board.

How do you make it look so easy🤟

Questions about the sand on the board dropping in 3, 2, 1... go! hahahaha
🤣🤣🤣 if you know, you know!
I need an answer about this😂
I think its for grip ?
Hahaha new board always needs a sand rub as they are slippery as! Also I do it to get the old wax on there grippy
@@tomasini5892 Yes its for grip. There is a slime layer left after the board making process that needs some rubbing to get it off!

Just getting your position on the board correct is the best thing. I do have some video to show that but getting speed is the best skill you can have.
