Good video👍 Only different I see in the 2024 from my 2022 Super Chief Limited are the mirrors. Mine has stage 2 with Lloydz custom tune plus a few extras. It is as you stated an very easy bike to whip around. That does make it a little twitchy when riding mountain twisty roads at high speeds. It does rip in sports mode. Been riding cruisers for 42 years (never dropped a dime on HD) and I'm a member of the tribe for life. Ride safe and e joy the ride.✌️
I agree. That switch to first gear need so meat from the foot for sure. I imagine after the first oil change that may change to our favour. It happened with my last bike at any rate.
I went again a few days ago and looked at one, they are spoke wheels. The sales guy tried to tell me that they were tubeless wheels, but the threaded valve stem was sticking right through the rim… either these sales guys don’t know or are lying. Super Chief requires tubes.
HD gets more greedy every year. Raising the price and giving you less. Winner of the worst bang for your buck award. “Enjoy yesterday’s technology today, at tomorrow’s prices “. I used to have one. Both Indian (and Victory) are more modern, and a better value than HD. And now all of their woke crap… I understand that they got rid of the hydro clutch because it was the cheapest way to “solve” the leak problem. However, I was shocked to experience that the cable clutch was actually much easier to pull than the hydro (opposite to the norm). ABS is a lifesaver that should be standard on all bikes, including traction control. Thank you very much for your excellent review! Very detailed and informative, including comparison to the Heritage. I too, prefer blacked out bikes. Less time polishing and more time riding. “Chrome don’t get you home.” I want to spend more time riding than wrenching. The Heritage shield IS higher (for a 5’6” rider) but the buffeting at freeway speeds is horrible! Most reviews (even too long ones) are practically useless, basically “the bike rides good”. Yours are packed with vital observations. The only things I didn’t like about the Indian is that the display takes way too long to boot up, and that my nearest dealer is nearly two hours away. I have two HD dealers just a few minutes away. I’ve ridden both, and am between these two. It’s VERY useful to have your very detailed narrated perspective. Thank you! I just subscribed.
They haven’t changed much since last year or the year before that. Solid bike from factory, but if you wanna modify it with aftermarket parts, buy a Harley

Great video! I’d probably buy one of these right now if the wheels were tubeless.
I thought they were 🤔, they're not mag wheels?

You are spending more time talking about Harleys than the super chief
