I picked up my 2023 Indian Chieftain Darkhorse two days ago. Same engine as your bobber. There's more to sport than just a faster throttle response. They have dome something to it cause it grows wings in sport mode if you take it down one gear and give it the least little bit of throttle. I traded in a very luxurious 2022 Honda Goldwing DCT and I dont regret it. The Goldwing is a smooth and sophisticated lady and probably a better bike but I wanted a different riding experiance and today on my first long ride I got just that. Indian have a good engine in the Thunderstroke 116. Indian bikes are getting better than Harleys now in my humble opinion.
That's exactly how I feel about sport mode! I was seriously looking into a fatbob 114 or the lowrider ST, but the wife told me I should check out Indian. Did a little research and my local dealer had this sitting in the showroom. Once I took it for a test ride it was a done deal for me. Been loving it.
I totally understand what you are talking about! Had a rebel 1100 dct for three month and riding became so boring since I didn’t have to do anything. Had to sell it and got a real bike even though the rebel was very smooth. I sold my rninet three month ago and got a low rider s. Wasn’t an easy decision and I kind of regret it! Rninet is such a nice bike! Anyway, thanks for sharing! Nice ride!
I still like to go out and enjoy the s1000r every so often, but I keep getting on the Indian instead most days. It's not all about speed as some may think. The ride itself is much more visceral and enjoyable on the Indian. Enjoy that low rider s!
I own the exact same bike you are riding in titanium smoke. Im loving it. Im gonna upgrade the shocks eventually to the FOX adjustables that come on the new Sport Chief and if possible the Brembos. Congrats on both your babies. Lol.
Twins! I was thinking about doing the exact same thing with the suspension and brembos. Sometimes I wish I would have just gotten the sport chief for the dual disk brembos in the front.
Gidday Mate from Australia. I thought I heard you are going to get some slip ons, I presume you are talking about mufflers, and the screen. Also can you tell me is that the seat that came with the bike? I hope you do future videos on these things. I ride a Triumph Bonneville T100 and I am totally in love with the Indian Chief Bobber and the Sport Chief, thinking about an upgrade. Cheers Mate
Gidday sir! Yup, just some mufflers from Rinehart. The seat is the Indian Syndicate Extended seat from Indian for 2 up riding. The seat that came on the bike was just a single.
Hey Midas, do you mind sharing what your audio gear is? It sounds so good! I'd love to record my own videos when i get my first bike! Looks so much fun!
If memory serves me right, at 80mph it sits a little under 3k rpm. The suspension is pretty good, I haven't had any complaints except they could be softened up a bit. Bumps can be brutal on the tailbone sometimes.
Someone explain to me why the phone has to be strapped to the handlebars, I don’t get it. The last thing I would want to look at is a phone while enjoying a ride
I use it for maps/traffic on my way to and from work, emergency phone calls from home. I like it to be easily accessible. You don't have to look at it if you don't want to :-)

Harley can thank Indian for pushing them to make a better motorcycle!
Not better than Indian, just a better Harley!
Are you happy with it? Had a friend that told me he loved his bike more than his wife, haha .
Love those Indian motorcycles!
They just keep getting better and better 👍
My stunning 2019 Indian Springfield and I concur, Cruiser Heaven, all day, every day!
The duck goes hard man oh and congrats new to your channel gonna watch the other vids now
Congratulations on your little guy. God bless you and the fam🙏 I have one on the way. Super excited
Thanks a lot! Congrats to you! You're going to love it. Greatest thing that's happened to me.

The chrome pipes are an eye sore on that bike.
I like the staggered exhaust , like they used to have on the old school sportster .

The fox shocks are so very worth the cost...
I got the same bike and I love it
I need to experience that luxury for myself.
Beautiful gloves, may I know where you got them?

In the process of picking one up myself. How do you like the syndicate seat?
When are you coming back?? Miss this videos man!
Would luv one of these. Just too expensive for what it is. In Australia its the same price as a family car...
The chief is the one bike I don't like from Indian. I love the old pre '22 ones. Not a fan of the change. Hope you continue to enjoy it though bro 😊

What happened to your R Nine T? That bike was beautiful.
Gone, unfortunately. After selling it I regret it immensely and plan on getting another one in the future, but I wanted to try something new.
Nice bike fella 👍
Nice color .
Can you move those bars back towards you a bit?
well, you don't know what the direction indicator is for and where to turn it....
Which Indian cruiser has the lightest weight? . Anybody? .
Very nice, do you know what rpm your sitting on in top gear at highway speed? How do you like the suspension and comfort?

A little heavy at almost 600 lbs .
That thing giving you back problems? (serious question)
I think it was my riding position. I was having lower back/shoulder blade pain on my right side, but after adjusting the bars a little it went away.
@@5ub13 That makes sense. Thanks for responding.
Yes, you do... but a good problem hahaha
As you can see from my resume that you will not have the ability for you and I would love the Most popular and easy for me a
Bike sounds like a leaf blower ...!!!
