Chris - your stuff just keeps gettin better and better. Such a joy to wake up on a Sat morning and see this! keep these amazing thailand vids coming brother!
January 2023 I spent the entire month in Thailand..... Most of the time on Koh Samui. Was absolutely amazing! Your channel here and a few others I follow religiously since I have every intention of retiring to Thailand. Thank you for everything you post!!!
What a life eh? I’ve been watching your content for a year now and I can’t wait to get there on my first trip. My plan is to start and end in Thailand and visit multiple countries in Southeast Asia. This will certainly be one of my destinations while there. It’s amazing!
I love Haily so much, she is a very heart person. She brings smile as she is so genuine. I love your channel Chris. I am a french Canadian from Montreal, went to Bangkok and Hua Hin last november for the first time. Mainly because of your channel and all your recommendation. Can't wait to come back again in the land of smile. Cheers.
Greetings Chris, I am enjoying “ binge watches” all your content, I can’t stop watching, so awesome. I am very glad I ran across your Channel. Thanks for sharing and continue having the time of you and your wife’s life.
Going to Phuket in September. Now going to Ko Samui for new year after watching this ! You’re hitting my savings hard ……….😂 😎 Watching your channel is making my wife and I seriously consider retiring to Thailand. September will be trip number four.
The Thai young lady wasn't laughing at your Thai language skills. She was just happy to hear a farang speak Thai no matter how good. You'll gain even more respect as your skills progress.
Aloha from Hawaii Chris! It’s refreshing to watch you guys enjoy yourself not scrimping and penny pinching. Can’t wait for my wife and I to retire and move to Thailand ourselves and we won’t need to be scrimping and penny pinching the rest of our retirement lives. Mahalo for all you do!!! 🤙🏻❤️🤙🏻
Chris, Your Videos with You and Hailey are Awesome !! 2 Characters = Great ❤!! Thailands gain is Toronto Canada's loss. Only can say wish I was there ......
I live in Chiang Mai, which in itself is an excellent option for a getaway (not during smokey season). I just got back from Chiang Rai for a three-day trip. We stayed at a great resort called "The Legend". It is located on the river, great rooms, pool, lawned gardens, water features, and an excellent breakfast. Since I have my own car, we drove the three hours to and from. We went to see the Blue and the White Temple, Black House, Singha Park, the night bazaar, walking street market, and the royal family carriage house. We had great Mexican food at Samarosa (spelling???). I wanted to revisit the Hungry Wolf restaurant, but they close for the month of April every year, so that was a missed opportunity. We did go to Fish and Chips and had an OK meal. The portions were huge though. The next weekend getaway will be to Pai I think. We love the mountains versus the beaches.
Pure delight to enjoy every minute of this beautifully and heartfelt video! New follower and love you! Thanks for being fabulously authentic and full of real joy! Seriously adore your lovely partner too!!
Thanks for this happy Thailand vlog C.J. love this type buddy, you made us smile and we got some inspiration for our next visit Parker! And as always, C Ya in the next one, cheers 👊🍻
Good morning from Brisbane Australia 🇦🇺 Great vid Chris and so glad to have your wife included in this one! She is def a keeper mate - great personality! Cannot wait to get there for 3 months to explore ! Hopefully Oscar is just getting his log book hours and experience up as technically he cannot become a certified and recognised dive master till he is 18.
Hi Hailey! My friends call me P.A and I think you are wonderful! Having you in the video is like a breath of fresh air. I would love to be friends. I visit Bangkok in the spring and hope I get to say hello. Thank you for your joy.
Excellent video! One of my fav places to go in Thailand for a break is Phrae, beautiful riverside town, visited the historic teak houses, cute downtown, excellent local museum, very nice riverside cafe, and cycled out to the indigo dye village close by to view hand dying and one street of all indigo dye shops! An excellent trip. Please do a video of Phrae!!
Like the breakdown at the end. Slightly cheaper hotel and not paying for dinner for 5 and you get the cost down below 30,000 baht or $800 USD .... oh and ditch the pringles... ;-)
Just landed back in oz today from my Thailand holiday. I had planned to go to Kho Samui but decided to go from my planned Phuket to Surat Thani instead of Kho Sami. I am totally happy with my choice I think either choice would have been good imo. Thx for the video I will probably fit Kho Samui in next visit.
Chris, great video. Have you changed cameras? Or are you still shooting on your iPhone? The video seems a bit more cinematic compared to the last time I saw one of your videos.
The breakfast at the Melia is great (been there and enjoyed it very much) but can’t beat the Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai in Bangkok. If you give the Melia a 9.5 the Eastin breaks the scale as it is at least a 15. Check it out and thank me later 😊
I love your getaway from polluted air in Bankgkok, it`s a refreshing awesome video Chris P. & Haely , great important informations ! I think 1000 THB per day for a car is def. a good price, and the room looks insane beautiful, woow ! 😍👍You both are great, i like your explorings together ! Thanks and happy holiday 🥂🙏
Hey Chris, could you please let me know when you guys come back to Bangkok. I would love to get a drink or a dinner with you guys along with my wife. Greetings from Serbian guy. Cheers!
Chris, we met (very briefly) on Sukhumvit Soi 11 in December. Anyway, I digress. Even I laughed at your Thai 😂 but you’re making an effort which is always appreciated by Thai people. Resort looks nice. I retire to Thailand later this year and would certainly consider Samui to stay for maybe 6-months. Just concerned it will be a little spenny for me now I’m retired.
@26:56 I wish they had those bigger planes when I went to Koh Samui some years ago. We took one of those small Thai Airways propeller planes to and from Bangkok. It was a bit unsettling on those propeller planes, honestly, like they would choke and fall to the sea any moment.
Really liked the concept of presenting what a quick weekend getaway from Bangkok would be like (pretty much just about what we would do ourselves), can you also please do Phuket and other beach areas driveable from Bangkok?
Hey Chris! I heard you were working on building a house on Samui from one of your other videos. Are you planning on sharing that experience soon? Thank you for all of the inspiring videos on moving to Thailand. I spent 30 days touring most of the major areas on Nov/Dec 2023. We got 20 year visas and are returning to Samui (from Seattle) in August to an awesome leased pool villa for a year. Thanks again for helping make it a reality! @RetiredWorkingForYou
THIS VIDEO IS GONNA KRUSHHHHHH !!! so great to do a play by play it fits the bill of the attention deficit editing style ! keep em locked into the content ... dope dope dope ... as always sawadeee !!!
Fantastic video. One can splurge on a hotel room for a day or 2, 3 being right at the beach, and get a cheaper room couple of 100mt away for the rest of the stay. Awesome review on Hachiya (were you tipsy there?)
Great insight into Samui. One place I've not travelled to within Thailand. Maybe one day. Lived in Thailand for 12 years, came back to UK during the civil unrest as had a young child. Really miss the place.....will be coming for a holiday next year with the kids.....and defo will be retiring there 🤞. Glad to see not so much has changed regarding the laid back vibe. Keep up the good work, love your vlogs 🤜🤛
Be sure to avoid November for Samui. The monsoon stays on Samui later than the rest of Thailand. I loved it there but had lots of rain. Despite years of prep for this trip during Covid, I only learned about this just before we left Canada.
Love Koh Samui think we spend 70000 baht just for the hotel for 3 nights at the intercontinental it was the most we paid for a hotel ever but ever baht was worth it. Love Koh Samui will go back next time but probably a cheaper hotel
Nice hotel it's across the street from your friends with the Korean restaurant, right? Mr. Eung is a funny guy and yes the place is now usually busy and yes it in my estimation has a lot to do with your vlogs. The Issan restaurant is near where we live ... nope it doesn't get over the top busy ... you're an influencer ; ) We will try Hachoo (Hachiya) ; ) Flat White is an OZZy thing. It generally has a higher proportion of espresso to milk than a caffè latte. Was it cooler in Samui?
I am going to Samui from Canada leaving on January 1. I fly SCOOT into Samui from SIN. Thanks for listing some great places to check out. The 4 seasons are charging $2700cdn for a night in Samui. I have 33 nights of decent hotels around Thailand for less than that.
Awesome thanks Chris, we used to love staying at Poppies when it was still open. Cost was $400 NZ a night which is close to what you paid. Did you miss a day car hire in your tally?
Chris - your stuff just keeps gettin better and better. Such a joy to wake up on a Sat morning and see this! keep these amazing thailand vids coming brother!
How about Tuesday mornings ?
Just came back from Thailand. I can go back again in a heart beat!
January 2023 I spent the entire month in Thailand..... Most of the time on Koh Samui. Was absolutely amazing! Your channel here and a few others I follow religiously since I have every intention of retiring to Thailand. Thank you for everything you post!!!
You’re a good man, pure person, stay that way, a blessing to your family and us….
What a life eh? I’ve been watching your content for a year now and I can’t wait to get there on my first trip. My plan is to start and end in Thailand and visit multiple countries in Southeast Asia.
This will certainly be one of my destinations while there. It’s amazing!
Koh Samui has the most wonderful outdoor airport!
Mr. Eung is hilarious🤣 Great video mate i hope you enjoyed the weekend away 🙂
I love Haily so much, she is a very heart person. She brings smile as she is so genuine. I love your channel Chris. I am a french Canadian from Montreal, went to Bangkok and Hua Hin last november for the first time. Mainly because of your channel and all your recommendation. Going to Phuket in September. Now going to Ko Samui for new year after watching this !
You’re hitting my savings hard ……….😂 😎 Watching your channel is making my wife and I seriously consider retiring to Thailand. September will be trip number four.
Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables my dear friend in the store, lovely interview with the young man telling you about the activities in the ocean ❤
The Thai young lady wasn't laughing at your Thai language skills. She was just happy to hear a farang speak Thai no matter how good. You'll gain even more respect as your skills progress.
Yes!

Mahalo for all you do!!! 🤙🏻❤️🤙🏻
I love seeing Mr Eung's Seafood that packed! He's such a great guy, he deserves it!
Really impressed with the progress you have made with your Thai language. Keep it up 👍🏽
Chris, Your Videos with You and Hailey are Awesome !!

Cost is expensive and I'm happy for you...took you years to make it..enjoy
Too expensive for my blood but I still enjoy watching your videos.
Thailand isn't a cheap holiday anymore..
@@mcb00m It is if you know what to do & where to go. Obviously going to the most popular tourist destinations is not gonna be cheap.......
Oooh !! What a beautiful resort you were at!!
Met my wife in Samui, 17 years ago love that island, planing to retire there ❤️☝️
Can you tell me how much the hotel charges? Or est. anyway? Will you buy or rent?
Pure delight to enjoy every minute of this beautifully and heartfelt video! New follower and love you! Thanks for being fabulously authentic and full of real joy!
Seriously adore your lovely partner too!!
Thank you so much!
Great stuff Chris 😊
Hahahaha a Portnoy reference is the last thing I expected but you nailed it, as always! Thanks RW4U!!
Great to be brought back to some places that hold a special spot in my heart. Love Koh Samui. Miss ya.
I love it when Hailey is in the videos!
Thank you Chris Parker for another awesome video from the Master.
Koh Samui - paradise place truly
I have missed your videos Chris. Hope to more of you. I am happy you are happy. 😊
Glad you will be back in Koh Samui again, even if for just 48 hours. Look forward to get back to the island in mid-May!
You’re a cute couple. I get happy vibes from your vids. Thanks, man. I will get back there soon. Your Thai is coming along. Only took years. 😄
I went to the same hotel in January. Nice to relive it again. I love Samui.
Thanks, Chris!
Very, very nice Chris! I am sure you and Haley will have a fantastic time!
Thanks for this happy Thailand vlog C.J. love this type buddy, you made us smile and we got some inspiration for our next visit Parker! And as always, C Ya in the next one, cheers 👊🍻
Loved this video, and would love to see more weekend getaways here in Thailand. And can we have more of Haley in the videos? 🤩🤩
Hi Kirsten, how are you? Have not seen your videos for a while!
You're so good at editing. Love your videos.
Love your videos, Chris! Thank you for everything you do!
Great to see you two again, enjoy immensely watching as you have so much information and enjoyment for viewers.
Most expensive free sandwich in Thailand.
Koh Samui Airport is privately owned by Bangkok Airways No competition = higher airfares
9:55 great place for a smoothie too. 50 baht ❤❤❤❤ love Samui
Good morning from Brisbane Australia 🇦🇺
Great vid Chris and so glad to have your wife included in this one! She is def a keeper mate - great personality!
Cannot wait to get there for 3 months to explore !
Hopefully Oscar is just getting his log book hours and experience up as technically he cannot become a certified and recognised dive master till he is 18.
Went diving there back in 2008 and got open water certified. Really enjoyed it.
I need to visit Koh Samui again this July..... this is where I went for my honeymoon back in 2011
I'm taking the Thai language challenge! Thanks for the info on the resort.
Hi Hailey! My friends call me P.A and I think you are wonderful! Having you in the video is like a breath of fresh air. I would love to be friends. I visit Bangkok in the spring and hope I get to say hello. Thank you for your joy.
Perfect timing Chris. I will be in Thailand from June 17 to July 15 and for sure I want to spend a few days on my favorite Island.
Perfect!
i enjoy your video’s but honestly BA is probably the best airline to take in thailand imo!! enjoy the video’s keep em coming
Really enjoyed this one
Conrad Koh Samui is absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend.
Awe I love Haley .. ❤️ she is smart and adorable her excitement on the hotel room!!😊
iCare Thailand sent me! Love what you’ve done with them!
Excellent video! Your residence in Bangkok looks really interesting with the decorations by the way ....
You both look lovely. Great videos as always!

gotta keep the pringles!!
I love that coffee review parody! I've only seen a few of his videos but even I knew the reference.

Your Thai is getting better Chris. Congrats!
Delightful & educational video, Thank you for posting! 👍 from Texas

Thumbs up 👍 Chris
The pizza guy imitation! I love it.🤣
A long time ago, you said you bought a house on Koh Samui, so why are you renting a hotel room?
Great video Chris as always but there is no way I can do Thailand on your budget to expensive for me but glad your enjoying life all the best
