No other content creator in Thailand has convinced me more than yourself to move there. Always informative and fun. Makes me happy to be 55 and retirement age in Thailand. Leaving the states asap. Thanks for the effort you put in.
270 baht for that cafe is such a good deal, especially since they offer inside seating too. Wow. I’ve been to Bangkok, Phuket, phi phi, and Krabi. Really want to see Chang Mai!
Bananas! Bananas will kill the heat instantly. I love fruits sprinkled with chili powder (Mexican style). About 20 years ago I purchased some chili powder and a whole bunch of various fruits to sample with the powder. No matter how much chili powder we placed on the bananas, the heat was instantly stopped. From that day on, I have tried various chilies with Bananas- without fail- Bananas always stopped the chili's heat.
The hand writing is on the wall. After adhering to your Dental advice, you can off your services as a food guide to the unique for testing the new implants. You're fast becoming a handy person to be familiar with. I'm going to have to watch this clip in segments. There is so much to digest.
I love watching Thai girls eat, its like they are painting a picture on the spoon. Every piece of the dish is meticulously placed on the spoon as if the position of the cilantro alone will change the flavors.
This is a killer video … cullinary gold in every segment. I’m making notes on all the dishes/places I need to visit. Coming in 2 weeks, and learning some Thai before I get there!
Thank you for loving the Thai food, the Thai people, and Thai land ❤️ (I know there's Google translate, but I try to add the sentiment to the translation).
❤ After half a hour watching, I had start to cook - Yummi 😅 And another thing I like telling you: You are one of the few people who know how to eat delicious food - put all together on a spoon ore fork and eat all the flavors together. 😊 The good chefs have reasons to cook with different flavors, sweet, salty, spicy, sour etc. ❤ So guys, let’s enjoy our short life and let’s try anything that the earth and life offers to us. ❤ Live now and today and enjoy the present moment❤ An old, young German man 😊
Chris, I’ve been following you for a while. I have to say that even for a guy who’s been to over 65 countries and have visited Thailand numerous times for last 12 plus years, I find you videos informative, funny and motivational. I think you’ve been pushing most people in right directions for awhile and i personally appreciate it. I am currently in Bangkok possibly looking at retirement visa. I hope to see you in the near future. Lou G
This is awesome dude... the chilli showdown had me laughing out loud.. such a wonderful compilation of info, tips, and of course, delicious food! You're doing great things on this channel Chris, long may it continue 👏
Thank you for showing the lady working process at the end of the video! I never been to thailand and i always wonder where do this food comes from. If they are freeelancers or if they buy things half ready from a suply chain. It looks clean, made it with care and hard work!
Absolutely love your channel me and my husband are coming to Thailand to stay for about 3 months , we are In our 50 I’m a retired nurse and he’s a retired firefighter , you do a fantastic job jobs with your videos but we don’t know where to begin lol please any recommendations would be great thank you
I’m home enjoying my morning toasted bagel but wish I was back in LOS sampling the endless variety of street food and drink. The enjoyment of a cold mango smoothie from a friendly street shop after a meal on a 96F day is hard to beat! Keep these vids coming, I’m taking notes for my return. 😋
It’s a cold, wet, grey holiday weekend in the UK. Having watched this I’m going to head down to my local oriental supermarket first thing tomorrow to grab some ingredients and transport myself to a Thailand for the weekend…thanks for the inspiration Chris!
@3:35 I saw this sign (aligned horizontal&vertical) above the entrance to a traditional house in Bali, where 3 generations live together. And it means several things: the terrestrial vs spiritual, the circle of life.... (Nothing to do with AH and the second global fight).
Greetings Chris Parker, I have just finished binge watching all of your videos and I must say, job well done! You, Adam, Haelee, Fah, and others have done a superb job producing all the videos herein. My favorite video was the light switch video, that was crazy. The new tax policies are very concerning and I am looking forward to the final decision on the subject. Thanks so much for sharing and I look forward to your next episode out of Thailand.
Pleasure to awake in states on a Saturday am and allow you to tour me thru the wonders of Thai markets. One of my fav channels, thank you for the incredible insight you lend. Don’t know if this is your wife accompanying you throughout -she is lovely🙏🏻
No worries with the fresh meat outside. Traveled all through Laos, eating street food, and eating out of the markets. No problems at all. Best food in the world. Fresh and no additives. My doctor told me to get a whole bunch of shots, before I traveled to Laos. The insurance wouldnt cover it and it was a fortune. Decided against getting the shots. Totally fine.
🙋🏻♀️PRO TIP...☝🏻Eat the yolk of the egg FIRST!!! 💁🏻♀️By eating the egg yolk first (make sure your mouth is coated with a layer...tongue AND roof of your mouth) a barrier is created between the mouth and the chili pepper which is where and when you experience the scoville units of heat the most AND the yolk is much more effective than dairy products😊👍🏻

Same here. Moving to Laos. Cant wait to get out of Washington State. The crime and the taxes are really getting bad. Almost as bad as California.
I live here, this guy's the only one I watch, the only one who can be self effacing, humorous, entertaining and knowledgeable
Sharing the vendor story at the end puts a solemn face on Thai affordable street food! Hope more people pay extra! ❤❤

The thon buri seafood market was awesome
And the prices were resable not to expensive
For the local Thai people. That was awesome.

Go for it. It is 10min job to make a good fresh pad kaprow by yourself. Get the good ingredients from a local Chinese toko, not from the supermarket.
🇬🇧 UKroid you😂
