    I have just bought a 2009 Burgman 650 and have done all the oils and filters (so I thought) and now have checked CV air filter following your video. It was blocked!! have cleaned and ordered a new one.
    Thanks for the great vids, info and clear instructions😊

    I just followed several of your videos on how to do all of the oil changes. I also had a F1 light come up and the bike sounded like crap wit no power, When I opened up the bike to do the oil changes I saw that mice had chewed the wires. I connected those no problem and now she is running good again. When I opened the door to check the air filter, it was full of leaves, cactus and seeds from mice! Time to get the bike in the garage! Thanks again for helping me work on my bike by myself and without having to spend a fortune at the dealer!

      I see that a few people express worry about the CVT Bolt, and that not inspecting it for wear regularly, can be really expensive? Can you just loosen and pull the bolt out and inspect it, or do you have to maintain an alignment or something? It looks like a new CVT bolt runs about $130?

      @@duwomaiishgabrielle9498 i’ve never experienced any problems with the CVT belt on the Suzuki Bergman 650 realize that this belt is a permanent belt and they do break sometimes but if you need to take it in to have it replaced, it’s very very expensive they have done

    Slightly off topic: in your experience, how long do the drive belt and variators last? Thanks for the helpful videos.

      Not sure they say they are lifetime but we know how that goes

      Honestly, I haven’t had to change the filter yet🤣 it showed minimal signs of dust probably due to all the pristine Riding environments that it has been in. I’m sure it would be fine with either or though just my two. Cents.

    How often do you change your oil? I switched to T6 like you use. My bike is ready for the dual iron butt to San Diego and back in 48 hrs. Just waiting for the temps at night to be above 50° 😁👍

      The shop manual says to change it every 4000 miles. And I usually stick with that.👍🏻

    I've watched a couple of your Burgman videos so I would like to ask you about a problem I have. it's a 2003 AN650. my last ride it drop down to one cylinder, it would occasionally run on 2 but eventually just one cylinder.when I shut it off it wouldn't restart. battery is good, spins over great but it won't fire.

      I would check spark to that cylinder make sure your coil to that cylinder is good. Each cylinder has a coil pack on top of the spark plug and those can go bad. Also check your plug wires.

      Okay, I'll do that. This ignition system seems ahead of its time, individual coils. Thank you.

    I've got an abs light on my 650 Bergman executive staying on ,any idease for fix .
    Or is it just replace those sensors? Thanks man in anticipation

      Make sure you check all the fuses I know that’s a simple thing but sometimes it gets overlooked. Then I would look for a wiring schematic and just start checking. You could also clean those sensors to see if that makes a difference. I hope this helps I’m not real knowledgeable about the ABS on that bike. Hopefully it’s nothing major like the computer or anything like that. Ride safe my friend👍🏻

    Great video - BUT - don’t use a Philips screwdriver. Use a Japan Industrial Standard (JIS) driver and that will make sure that you don’t strip the screw heads.

    • @ManCaveMayhem
      @ManCaveMayhem  2 роки тому

      I have those screwdrivers but the Philips actually worked perfect on that they’re not screwed in that tight.
