@@mobbdeep615 Whichever words you want to use to describe him... I'm not sure twisted and evil are accurate, but I still get the point; he was COLD. He wasn't a charming teddy bear that could get angry like Tony, or competent yet a gullible romantic like Junior, etc, he was just cold, violent, unrelenting, and fearless.

I am sure richie was looking forward to that source of income for a while before getting out then out of nowhere Tony's rich ass gonna say no. Beansie wasn't a made or even connected guy. He was a civilian like richie said. He did the same with feetch. Tony's narcissistic ass broke rules and made rules when it suited him.

I actually hated how prematurely he left the series. He was easily one of the most entertaining characters in the greatest series of all time, and considering how many phenomenal characters there were, that's saying a lot. I only wish he was in it more because he truly stole every scene he was in. What a presence he had. Top performance for a top drama. While I loved Ralphie, I really missed Richie after season 2. As perfect as the series was, I actually felt cheated by Richie's unexpected departure. I'd have loved him to be a mainstay for at least a couple more seasons. Regardless, one of my favourite performances, and nothing can change that. Huge respect for David Proval.

William Gilbey In hindsight I agree, but when you were watching the show in realtime you couldn’t wait for Richie to get it cause David played the role so well you really hated him. Now when I watch his storyline I actually find myself feeling kind of sorry for Richie, he had a problem with Tony’s authority at first cause he saw Tony as his kid brothers friend, but he then made attempts to adapt and gain Tony’s friendship, unsuccessfully of course, and that’s mostly cause Tony didn’t give him a chance and preferred being the feared bullying type leader more than the fair and friendly leader. Plus Richie had Janice in his ear filling his head with ideas of being the boss himself...
